On the Eve of Dictator BOOsh's Second to the Last Deception of Perception of the State of our Union...

 After recently purchasing and viewing Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” – a film so controversial that Nationalist Fundamentalists all over the country are doing all they can to prevent it from being shared (FOR FREE) with our children in schools - I’m now more convinced than I ever have been that Global warming (which recently pushed the “Doomsday Clock” to “Five Minutes till’ midnight”) is the single most important and morally imperative issue facing our planet today, and believe that we should track where each projected Presidential Candidate Stands on it. I strongly urge everyone to watch this documentary; it’s not political, just factual.

 This warming crisis should be of incredible concern to everyone on the globe, especially when ski resorts in Canada are reportedly laying off employees due to the worst unseasonable warmth they can “remember” seeing. How about the fact that cherry blossoms are growing early…not days, but by months…tell me that this isn’t a crisis!!

 In recent weeks, members of the BOOsh Regime have started to acknowledge the human influences on our warming climate. Is this actually a change of course, or is it merely a last ditch effort to try and get approval from the 60+% of Americans that despise this Dictatorship?!! You decide.

 Neil Cavuto - ignorant Repug Pundit for Faux News – recently cited the insane and unseasonable/unprecedented cold weather in certain parts of the country as just cause to question the “theory” (FACT) of Global Warming. First of all, if this tard knew anything about science, he’d know that the destabilization of our weather through global warming doesn’t mean that EVERYTHING gets hot all at once; it incredibly manipulates our weather and RELOCATES cold and warm weather!! DURR!!!

 We should both applaud and be ashamed about the fact that China and India are taking the initiative on resolving the crisis of Global Warming before us. It is just pathetic that we are taking so damned long to merely WAKE UP!!

 It really says something about the moral/ethical values of a person or corporate entity when they force tax payers to pay them in order to prevent a massive loss of jobs. What saddens me even more is the fact that a company like Ford is forcing the State of Michigan to pay them 300 Million Dollars in order to keep a measly SIX FACTORIES open!!

 How could anyone claim to love this country, watch Fox News and live with themselves? It doesn’t surprise me any, but the assholes at Fox claim that Outsourcing is “good for America”…just tell that to my Maternal Grandpa…you might get an earful.

 The Columbus Dispatch recently posted a poll on their website asking what readers thought of the prospect of Universal Health Care (which I strongly support). Regardless of what you think on this matter, the following comment by a “voter” made on Jan. 16^th at 2:46pm is just morally reprehensible: “No. Absolutely NO! I'm tired of my tax dollars being spent on the scum of the earth people in this country,who are too lazy to take care of themselves.” Ignorance begets ignorance; my mother is not the scum of the Earth as you so aptly put it asshole. Comments like this come from the ill-informed nimrods amongst us that no thing about pain and suffering except what the Right Wing Media feeds them!!

 The lackluster and flat out pathetic response by the BOOsh Regime to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina just had a little more light shone on it. Former Director for the Federal Emergency Management Agency revealed that politics played a major part in those horrific days after he had advised that the Regime “federalize” the entire affected area of the Gulf Coast when he said the following regarding the response: “Unbeknownst to me, certain people in the White House were thinking we had to federalize Louisiana because she's a white, female Democratic governor and we have a chance to rub her nose in it…” The Regime responded by stating that Brown – whom was turned into a scapegoat in the aftermath of the response, much like how Scooter Libby was sacrificed according to his own testimony to save Karl Rove – was just “lying again”…riiight.

 Mr. 28% Approval Rating, BOOsh’s escalation speech prompted the addition of at least one semi-influential man (Salt Lake City’s Mayor) to join the nationwide movement calling for the impeachment and removal of the BOOsh Regime. Welcome to the club!!

 Just before BOOsh decided to “compromise” and cede a little to Congress on the issue of his Spy Program (by having Attorney General Gonzales send a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee informing them that the FISC will now begin to oversee the program…of course…in the letter, Gonzales emphasized the Regime’s belief that the program never needed approval from the courts to be legal, and then implied to the committee when meeting in person that the Regime may even reject or ignore the court in the future as they have previously, so…as usual…nothing’s changed), Alberto Gonzales – whom defends the renditions of suspects to countries that torture - told a group of Neo-Cons (called the American Enterprise Institute) that the Courts are too unfit to oversee the program, then, the regime unveiled it’s plot to utilize a “shady provision” of the Renewed Patriot Act in order to purge up to ten Senate Confirmed Attorneys that they fear would be overzealous and seek prosecutions of the Fascists that occupy our White House!! Now, if you expect the media to keep all of us constantly informed, stand up for the truth, or even just show an opposing view to this Regime, think again.

 Another reason to be thankful for a Democratic Congress is the first legislative act of Senator Jim Webb, whom submitted the “Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2007“ that will modernize the G.I. Bill and efficiently compensate veterans for any and all educational costs. Them Virginians must be proud to have replaced George Allen with this man!!

 Although the 110th Congress has succeeded in passing every piece of legislation in their 100 Hour plan (done in under 43 minutes), it is very likely that the Dictator will veto EVERY bill that comes across his desk. What a flip flop!!

 Congressman Kucinich (and 2008 Presidential Candidate) has proposed a re-installment of the “Fairness Doctrine” which required media pundits to offer both sides of an argument for the viewers to decide what side they agreed with, and could prevent the rise of fascism in this country. My own father strongly opposes this, claiming that it suppresses a “free press”, and President Reagan disbanded the policy in the 80s. I honestly support this, because no matter if a pundit is liberal, conservative, or middle of the road; they should always provide the viewers with a balanced perspective of things…period.

 I wonder how the BOOsh Regime misplaced a picture displaying the Dictator and disgraced Repug lobbyist Jack Abramoff – whose dealings with my former Congressman Bob Ney landed that man in Prison for a whopping 30 months - smiling side by side at a fundraiser in 2003. Maybe this misplacement occurred as a result of BOOsh’s order last spring to classify all lists of White House visitors…hmmm. Then again, if the CIA would do everything they could to prevent an investigation to Former Congressman “Duke” Cunningham’s corruption, and then it should not surprise anyone that BOOsh would hide damning pictures and lists.

 Have you heard about the new “war” between “Liberal Blogs” and Sinclair Broadcasting? Well, the current front is centered on a blogger named “Spocko” and that individual’s local ABC Affiliate. The recent and so far only casualty in this battle was Spocko’s blogsite when ABC complained about copyright infringement when the blogger posted a clip of a recent radio broadcast that portrayed bigoted statements directed towards certain people of faith when the hosts took part in the following discussion with a caller they suspected of being Muslim:

“Sussman: I would take it that you are probably Muslim.

Caller: No, I'm independent. I do not subscribe.

Sussman: You don't … Well, why don't you just right now say, "Allah is a w*ore" and that would prove it to me.

Caller: Allah … I would not say that. Because I'm not …

Sussman: Say, "Allah is a w*ore," and that would prove to me that you are not an Islamist.

Caller: I'm not an Islamist. No, I do not believe in religion.

Sussman: Okay, prove to me you're not a Muslim. Say that you love eating pig.

Caller: I do love to eat pork. I am a big fan of it.

Sussman: Okay, that's great.”

 Furthermore, this affiliate said the following about Sen. Obama:

“Morgan: Senator Obama, who is, as you call, a 'Halfrican' –

Sussman: Halfrican and, again, his father was — his father was from Kenya, his mother's white … My opinion as your average white guy — he is not allowed to wear the African-American badge because his family are not the descendants of slaves.” We must end this kind of bigotry by boycotting this ignorance!!

 The American people should always be weary about voting electronically, especially when there are no RECEIPTS! In Florida and North Carolina, Democratic Candidates in congressional races were denied victory by fewer than 500 votes, and by machines made by the same company. The close race isn’t what causes one to question the validity of an election, however the fact that some voters in those controversial districts reported that the computer recorded votes for the WRONG candidate…2000, 2002, and 2004 ALL OVER AGAIN!!

 A recently passed bill in the House that will rollback subsidies/tax cuts for the oil industry met scrutiny from the Repugs whom claimed that the bill would just help our enemies. According to the bill’s sponsors; it would generate roughly 15 Billion Dollars in very helpful revenue. Thank God this bill passed.

 It has been disclosed that in the recount here in Ohio for the 2004 Election, one County rigged their recount by pre-selecting (when regular recounts involve random ballots) what ballots to count in order to speed the process up…please delve further into this issue!!

 Caught up in the vast “War to Terrorize” are citizens from all over the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Canada, and many others. In Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; just under ten British citizens have been held without any hearings whatsoever as suspected terrorists. It is definitely time – past due – that this camp close IMMEDIATELY.

 It was already tragic that BOOsh felt the need to violate Constitutional and International law once again when ordering an attack on a suspected base for terrorists in Somalia – a move the European Union warned would in turn escalate violence in the region -, but what turned out to be even worse was the fact that this air raid actually killed NOMADS instead!! Incompetence * Greed = Dead Innocents!!

 Do you feel better about the appointment of Robert Gates as Secretary of War especially in light of the fact that the man has admitted to not being an “expert” on “Iraq … (or) military matters”? Everything’s just fine and dandy isn’t it? Well, according to McCain, everything IS… in Iraq (a place that Coulter and other dumb-ass Repugs claim is no different then major cities here in the U.S.) , where over 34,000 civilians died last year, and the fight has been easy and where we have been accepted / greeted as liberators!! Why shouldn’t they rejoice over our intrusion? After all, aren’t we the ones that created the monster that we eventually would justify removing?

 Despite the fact that the “surge” was already underway, BOOsh announced this escalation (opposed by a number of retired Generals) of the Imperial Conquest efforts in the Province of Iraq, a move the Iraqis want no part in whatsoever, the BIC implied that there may be some mandate to take action against Iran and Syria to protect “(our) interests in the (region).” Definitely a far cry from the so-called diplomatic tone taken last year to involve both nations in the rebuilding process. Just preparing us for the next phase of the “BOOsh Imperial Expansion”? That’s definitely possible when considering Vice Admiral John M. McConnell as National Intelligence Director, a man that may be considered as part of Darth Cheney (who rejected an offer by Iran to end support for terrorist organizations and help end the violence in Iraq)’s plot to tighten the Regime’s grip on domestic intelligence and get us on a one way path for a confrontation with Tehran!! Hell, they’re already creating the Directorate in the Pentagon to handle our policy towards Iran, and BOOsh himself has even reportedly authorized the arrests of Iranians in Iraq…doesn’t it make your wheels turn a little, especially when contemplating the fact that BOOsh’s people plan on revealing plans to “modernize” our nuclear arsenal soon?

 If you oppose this war, which Repugs are still trying to connect to 9/11, or just the escalation of troops to the frontlines, Lord Cheney feels that you (and many of our Democratic Candidates for Prez) are playing into Bin-Laden’s hands. Define Fascist: reactionary or dictatorial person…noooo, even after analyzing a recent dropped case that was brought up against demonstrators that sought to deliver their message to the Dictator himself; that doesn’t apply to anyone in this REGIME…WHATSOEVER!!!

 A report from the New York Times quoted Secretary Gates as saying that our government is trying to communicate to the Middle East that we are looking to be stuck there for a while. This was mostly a message to Iran (whom has gained military gear through a source that purchased them at Pentagon Auctions) that they might want to take seriously since ships are being deployed off their shores, to warn them that the Provincial War will not distract them from taking action against Tehran. The plot thickens…

 In an effort to end the quagmire in BOOsh’s extended Empire, Senator Kennedy has submitted a resolution that would officially nullify the original Authorization to Use Force in Iraq bill that passed in 2002, by debunking each of the main components that justified it. Genius!! That coupled with an impending House Resolution that will demand the Dictator to pull our troops out by a certain date…YAY!!

 I think the American people need to start taking seriously and even questioning the prospects of a merger between Mexico, Canada, and that Nation in between…you know the one; especially in light of the fact that students in universities in all three countries have been “training” for such a merger…stand and demand answers!!

 If we aren’t on a downward spiral towards a war with China, then I want the know what the hell IS happening. The BOOsh Regime covered up the fact that China fired a laser at one of our satellites a few months ago in order to deflect it. This coupled with several other disturbing factors like BOOsh and Company warning against the Chinese making a deal – in EUROS, not U.S. Dollars - with regards to oil with Iran and a recent test where China successfully launched an anti-satellite missile at their own aging satellite…pray, hard….

 Many of you have probably heard about the so-called Holy Grail in one form or another. After recently watching the Da Vinci Code, I will admit that I was intrigued by the story and even felt pressed to investigate the issue. After some deep research, I discovered that the so-called “Priory of Sion” talked about in the movie/book was a hoax created by a man named Pierre Plantard in 1956 to allow him to ascend to the “throne of France.” This hoax involved Plantard and some others carefully planting “evidence” all over historical parts of Europe to back up their “case”. The man claimed to be a Grand Master of a secret society that took it upon themselves to protect the body of Mary Magdalene from the Catholic Church; whom they claimed sought to destroy it, because – according to their claims – Magdalene was Christ’s widow and was the key to freeing millions that have been oppressed by the Church since Constantine created it over a thousand years ago. Basically, Plantard was supposed to be one of the last remaining descendants of Christ (LMAO) and the rightful heir to the throne of France. A court would later force a confession from him that this was all fake, therefore leading to the end of the REAL Priory. Case and point.

 America, tonight is very important; whether you like it or not, watching the Dictation to the Nation is very important. You must sit through both it and the Democratic Response in order to hear what lies will spew from the BIC's mouth, and how our 110th Congress intends to debunk the deceptions. At 9pm Eastern Standard Time, tune your television to a news channel of your choice (mine will be C-Span as usual) and try not to vomit every time he attempts to deceive you and spin the facts.

 In the words of "V" "People should not fear their governments, governments should fear their people." Although a fictional character said this, the words ring so true. Watch the lies, but don't be tricked by them...use them as fuel/weapons to use against this enemy of the/our state.

 There should be little doubt by now that the drug companies in this country are only out for themselves, but the following report should reaffirm that opinion beyond belief: “From 1993-2004, spending by U.S. drug companies on research and development jumped 147%, from $16 billion to nearly $40 billion annually. But the number of applications the pharmaceutical firms submitted to the Food and Drug Administration for potentially groundbreaking new drugs during that 10-year period increased only a meager 7%. "The productivity of research and development investments has declined," the GAO concluded.” Still think the government shouldn’t step in on this matter? I demand Universal Health Care NOW!!

 There shouldn’t be any question about BOOsh’s fears of impending investigations on a monstrous scale, especially when one notes how the Dictator has been surrounding himself with new lawyers ever since the election…LMAO!!

 Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) was sworn in on a copy of the Koran/Quran that was once owned by President (Author of the Declaration of Independence) Thomas Jefferson!! He expressed his honest intentions in using this version to reflect that religious tolerance was a key part of our founding father’s philosophy.

 According to a poll conducted by CBS, optimism for the new Democratic controlled Congress is at 68% while BOOsh’s approval hovers at 30%...LMAO!! Now all our guys have to do is get past the hassle of passing the new Ethics Rules and then move on to the next step!

 One reason Lord Cheney might have been depressed on November 8^th of last year was the fact that it meant his eviction from the House Ways and Means Committee office that the Repugs lent to him shortly after he seized the second highest executive office…in the words of Nelson from the “Simpsons” “Ha Ha!!”

 Although I don’t celebrate Christmas – and for good reason – I do pay attention to all of this gibberish regarding a “war on Xmas”. What disturbs me is that during this time of year, the right wing has nothing better to do than to attack the character of all those not sharing their religious views and to claim a so-called “war on Xmas”. Did you know that during the “Red Scare” when “It’s a Wonderful Life” was released, the right wing FBI labeled the movie as “Communist Propaganda” because it supposedly possessed anti-consumerist propaganda!! LMAO!!!

 Governor Taft recently made history again when the Supreme Court reprimanded him for his ethics violations. Good going Taft, good ole’ boy!!

 Exxon Mobil, corrupt Oil Corporation, known for their ridiculous increase in oil prices shortly after Katrina – coupled with their monstrous profits that followed – recently paid millions out to a few dozen ideological groups to lie to the public about Global Warming…LOL. Cowards.

 Talk about suppression of the First Amendment; an article in the New York Times that had to be completely approved by the CIA and then censored by the White House was published showing the blackened areas thereof. The intriguing fact is that most of the blacked out sections pertain to BOOsh’s handling of the “war to terrorize”. I wonder what they are trying to hide….hmmm…or do we really want to know?

 Just when you thought it was safe to send letters via the US postal service, BOOsh formally declared that he has the right to ignore the law again when he issued a signing statement that claimed his regime has a right to open our mail without a warrant. It is now that I refer to the fourth amendment (read very carefully): “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

 In an unfortunate ending to a year – at the conclusion of the deadliest month for our troops in two years - filled with turmoil, two very disappointing landmarks were reached in the closing days of 2006; First of all, the American Death Toll in Iraq surpassed the toll of 9/11, and then the tragic toll of 3,000 was reached. As I’ve mentioned on this site before, whether it is one death, or one hundred thousand, it is still tragic, especially when said death occurs from a war built up on a pack of lies!! No wonder only 35% of our polled service members support the dictator’s policies. I pray wholeheartedly for the families of all those lost in this horrific debacle.

 Recently and barbarically / illegally / hypocritically executed former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein wrote and posted a letter to his fellow countrymen – in his final days – calling for them to put aside any hatred they may retain for the Occupiers. Many Muslims viewed Saddam’s execution as an insult to their faith for the choice in the date the sentence was carried out. It was viewed as “barbaric” by the European Union and “tragic” by the Vatican. As for the right-wingers that ignorantly thought that this wouldn’t be a very big deal to the Iraqis, just ask those pissed off Sunnis. This whole situation is nothing short of a travesty.

 Due to the fact that the Dollar fell by ten percent against the Euro in the past year, many countries are trading our currency for that of the EU’s bulk. This includes many oil producing nations that have made it a goal to increase their trade of oil for euros instead of dollars out of fear over the declining value of our currency. Our debt to our neighbors, coupled with the endless/reckless spending by those in power doesn’t seem to help us one bit!!

 By a two to one comparison, international corporations rate our visa system as the world’s worst!! Apparently, since 9/11, the process of going through customs at our nation’s ports is so burdensome that the rate of international businesses meeting in our country has continued to decline since the regulations were tightened. I’ve also learned that our businesses report losing over 31 Billion Dollars in profit as a result. Hey, many of those corporate assholes are the people that hired BOOsh and his minions in the first place…enough said….

 Displaying once more that Israel is just as serious about peace as BOOsh, the government in Israel recently approved the sale of a number of new settlements on Palestinian territory. Did anyone honestly expect differently?

 What amounts to a constitutional crisis for Chief Justice John Roberts? Is it Illegal Domestic Electronic Spying? Is it illegal surveillance of our letters and emails? Is it an illegal war that was initiated upon false premises? None of the above. Inadequate pay = 165,000 – 212,000 dollars a year!! LMAO!! Great choice for Chief Justice BOOsh!!!

 Wisconsin’s IRS office “accidentally” mailed out tax forms illegally disclosing both the tax payer’s name and social security number. Talk about giving aid to criminals!!

 Although the following might have belonged with the rest of the material involving the Iraqi provincial war, I felt that it should close this entry instead. As a new father who often fears what it would be like for my son to never know my voice or his mother’s, the following really hits hard at home. From a story published by an editor of the New York Times about her own personal loss in this dreadful and tragic quagmire we find ourselves horrified by daily:

“For months before my fiancé, First Sgt. Charles Monroe King, kissed my swollen stomach and said goodbye, he had been preparing for the beginning of the life we had created and for the end of his own.

He boarded a plane in December 2005 with two missions, really - to lead his young soldiers in combat and to prepare our boy for a life without him.

Dear son, Charles wrote on the last page of the journal, "I hope this book is somewhat helpful to you. Please forgive me for the poor handwriting and grammar. I tried to finish this book before I was deployed to Iraq. It has to be something special to you. I've been writing it in the states, Kuwait and Iraq.

The journal will have to speak for Charles now. He was killed Oct. 14 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his armored vehicle in Baghdad. Charles, 48, had been assigned to the Army's First Battalion, 67th Armored Regiment, Fourth Infantry Division, based in Fort Hood, Tex. He was a month from completing his tour of duty.

For our son's first Christmas, Charles had hoped to take him on a carriage ride through Central Park. Instead, Jordan, now 9 months old, and I snuggled under a blanket in a horse-drawn buggy. The driver seemed puzzled about why I was riding alone with a baby and crying on Christmas Day. I told him.

"No charge," he said at the end of the ride, an act of kindness in a city that can magnify loneliness.

On paper, Charles revealed himself in a way he rarely did in person. He thought hard about what to say to a son who would have no memory of him. Even if Jordan will never hear the cadence of his father's voice, he will know the wisdom of his words.

Never be ashamed to cry. No man is too good to get on his knee and humble himself to God. Follow your heart and look for the strength of a woman.

Charles tried to anticipate questions in the years to come. Favorite team? I am a diehard Cleveland Browns fan. Favorite meal? Chicken, fried or baked, candied yams, collard greens and cornbread. Childhood chores? Shoveling snow and cutting grass. First kiss? Eighth grade.

In neat block letters, he wrote about faith and failure, heartache and hope. He offered tips on how to behave on a date and where to hide money on vacation. Rainy days have their pleasures, he noted: Every now and then you get lucky and catch a rainbow.

Charles mailed the book to me in July, after one of his soldiers was killed and he had recovered the body from a tank. The journal was incomplete, but the horror of the young man's death shook Charles so deeply that he wanted to send it even though he had more to say. He finished it when he came home on a two-week leave in August to meet Jordan, then 5 months old. He was so intoxicated by love for his son that he barely slept, instead keeping vigil over the baby.

[..]Back in April, after a roadside bombing remarkably similar to that which would claim him, Charles wrote about death and duty.

The 18th was a long, solemn night, he wrote in Jordan's journal. We had a memorial for two soldiers who were killed by an improvised explosive device. None of my soldiers went to the memorial. Their excuse was that they didn't want to go because it was depressing. I told them it was selfish of them not to pay their respects to two men who were selfless in giving their lives for their country.

Things may not always be easy or pleasant for you, that's life, but always pay your respects for the way people lived and what they stood for. It's the honorable thing to do.

When Jordan is old enough to ask how his father died, I will tell him of Charles's courage and assure him of Charles's love. And I will try to comfort him with his father's words.

God blessed me above all I could imagine, Charles wrote in the journal. I have no regrets, serving your country is great.

He had tucked a message to me in the front of Jordan's journal. This is the letter every soldier should write, he said. For us, life will move on through Jordan. He will be an extension of us and hopefully everything that we stand for. … I would like to see him grow up to be a man, but only God knows what the future holds.”

It is true...

 As my mother reported on the 18th - the same day that Robert gates was sworn in as Defense Secretary officially ending Dumb-ass Rums-failed's tenure - when she hijacked my computer...Austin Michael Crawford was born at 20:58 that night and is now in an incubator under the intensive care of Ohio State University. He is doing fine - as of the last time I saw him this past friday - and will more than likely be home in February. My family and I appreciate everyone's concerns and prayers and are confident in our ability to raise this incredible gift from God...I'll discuss my express on the day of his birth elsewhere (MySpace and Yahoo 360) but now I must share the news with you.

Countdown to 2007

 As a result of the failed tax levy in November for Newark City Schools here in Ohio, the greedy mother-**cking Superintendent Keith Richards (whom makes approximately 300,000 a year) has cut over 70 jobs, funds for extracurricular classes, and busing all across the board. The bus cuts include all high school students, and any and all students from Preschool – Eighth Grade if they don’t live at least 2 miles away from their school. Read that last part over and over until the reality sinks in!! Fees for students wanting to play sports are $200 a season!! Great morals, asshole. Take a f*cking pay cut before you endanger our children!!

 On December 2nd, Repugs have officially set a new record; the minimum wage has now gone longer without an increase than at any other period since the creation of the standard in 1938!! *”Celebration” plays as Repugs celebrate nationwide*

 The successful minimum wage increase here in Ohio has been threatened by the Repugs that still hold some authority in Columbus. It appears that in the traditional passage of legislation to officially initiate a passed amendment to the state constitution, Repugs severely watered down the measure, despite the fact the almost 2/3 of Ohioans supported it!! Apparently, the Companion Law was written without any consultation or input whatsoever, shameful.

 I’m a devout servant of Christ and really do believe that one should do their best to wait until marriage before they have sex, but the right wing goes too far. Abstinence only programs are demanding that the government rethink a recent proposal to significantly increase funding to fights HIV/AIDS because their myopic alternative isn’t receiving enough funds!! People are dying, stop chastising and start acting!!

 After all of these years, BOOsh is finally proposing a tax increase for the rich…coupled with a provision in the same bill that would PRIVATIZE SOCIAL SECURITY!!! The attempt is for Repugs to do what they did this past summer when they forced Democrats to vote against an increase in the minimum wage by attaching a provision that cut taxes for the wealthiest among us…cheap and immoral indeed.

 One huge benefit for the less fortunate amongst us is the fact that since Democrats have taken control of Congress, there are now proposals to create universal health care coverage for EVERY AMERICAN!! Thank God!!

 Although it was weeks ago, I took part in a national event on December 10^th, known as “Impeachment Day”. Quite a few people signed up to take part in my planned event to publicly read off BOOsh’s crimes against our laws, but due to a lack of time availability, coupled with the short-notice that I gave in creating the event, I only saw one person show up. We talked for a while, but the nice lady left for home as a result of the mildly cold weather. I garnered a few more signatures for my petition that day in response to a letter to the editor I sent to the advocate that was posted that day which read:

“This Dec. 10 marks a grand occasion. It is a day that recently has been dubbed as "Impeachment Day."

 When one reads the Constitution, you find Congress has a sworn duty to protect and defend that very same document. This is vital to sustaining all of our liberties and keeping this democracy intact.

 Impeachment is not an extreme position and -- in fact -- isn't even punitive. Instead, it is merely an indictment on the state or federal level of government.

 Remember that in the American legal system, all are subject to habeas corpus, which includes the doctrine that all are "innocent until proven guilty."

 I urge everyone reading this to support this mandated duty for Congress to conduct oversight.

 The Aforementioned Impeachment Day proceeds brought out a lot of people in 75 cities (including my own) nationwide. Is there any question as to whether or not the BOOsh Regime qualifies more for the impeachment process than any other group or individual in our history? Hell, one of the rallies – in San Francisco – demanded that incoming House Speaker Pelosi put impeachment on the agenda or face a recall…good idea, especially in light of the fact that the New Democratic Congress has committed to hold all governmental officials accountable for any and all violations they may or have committed!

 Congressman-elect Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) has been appointed to the house judiciary committee by incoming Speaker Pelosi. The best part about this appointment is how seriously this man takes the roles of congress as mandated by the constitution…but we must push them, even when Congressmen and women like Conyers advise that calming down the rhetoric would be preferable!!

 Rep. Henry Waxman – the incoming chairman of the House Government Reform Committee – intends on making BOOsh’s life a living hell. Not to mention that the incoming Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee John Murtha (D-PA) will be setting up a team whose sole purpose is to INVESTIGATE BOOsh’s war policies. Hmmm…the ideas just fly around like crazy regarding where exactly a movement for impeachment in the House should begin….*contemplates enthusiastically*

 While he campaigned for office, Keith Ellison expressed his strong opinion that impeachment was the best way to restore order in our government. He said “until we take care of this problem (BOOsh), we can’t take care of the others”. No truer words could have been spoken.

 The movement for BOOsh’s immediate impeachment received an extra boost this month when 5 percent of Vermont’s citizens in forty different towns and cities signed a petition demanding such action. Not to mention the fact that the state legislature there is contemplating a bill that would effectively demand Congress to take action…hooray!!

 By the way…it was revealed recently that Lord Cheney will – in fact – testify as a witness in the Libby Case regarding Valerie Plame!! May Pandora’s Box be open!!

 Nancy Pelosi - whom plans on shamelessly parading her accomplishment of becoming the new House Speaker for FOUR DAYS in a PRIVATE setting that deceptively bares a title implying it is for the entire population – is not only calling on all of her colleagues – which grew by one more earlier this month in a runoff election in Texas, replacing a seven term Repug and is a greater gain than the Repugs have had since Eisenhower became President - to abandon any and all plans to implement true Congressional Oversight, but is also demanding that the new majority work with the Repugs that have repressed us for 12 years. I’m all for working together in the common interest of the people, but when the opposition responds to such a generous ploy by stating that “(in) January, we'll take her head off every day…It will be a pure war of ideas over the next two years…” I’d say that this new congress must remain vigilant in watching out for any legislation that could be potentially harmful for our liberties, as well as domestic and foreign policies. Be cooperative, not submissive.

 I’m very sure that all them Repugs – whom led the laziest Congress on record – will be very upset in light of the fact that Incoming House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer plans on scheduling votes 5 days a week, year round. That’s less vacation time…a lot less. Aww, poor repugs, they actually have to earn the money we pay them (165,000-212,000 a year)!!

 Earlier this month, Dennis Kucinich, the man that I fervently supported for President in 2004 clear up to the week of the Convention when he finally dropped out of the race, has announced his candidacy for President in 2008!! Once again, I intend on supporting his run for office with all of the enthusiasm I had in 04’ and then some. This man is the only official candidate for President that has consistently opposed the war in the Iraqi Province since 2002. He voted against the war and has refused to support the effort since the invasion. I agree with him that when he says that a vote to appropriate funds for the war is a show of support for said war because it enables that war to continue. Would you have voted to appropriate money to fund the Nazi Military’s effort in WW2, just because it was an all-volunteer military, most of whom don’t align their views with their supreme commander? You don’t fund a mistake, cutting off funds forces the military to draft a proposal to bring the troops home. This is not the ONLY ISSUE that Kucinich is right on, but it is one of the most important!! Kucinich 08’!!

 I want to know how anyone could claim that the GOP – many of whom have supporters who believe that soy beans make you gay - is the party of “pro-life” and “values” when certain Repugs like Congressman Joe Barton would actually stall even a debate on a bill that would grant 200 Million Dollars in federal grants to fund the treatment of the autistic!! Thank God the bill was recently resurrected after lying on the shelf for the past several months and passed unanimously. Then again, this more than likely would’ve remained undecided had the Democrats not taken the Congress back. What a year!!

 For those of you who view John McCain as a moderate I would like to hear your explanation for his recent decision to hire a man that participated in numerous scams involving fraudulent robocalls where Repugs acted like Democrats to spread misinformation regarding them, a phone jamming scandal, and a coconspirator involved with Tom Delay and TRMPAC…then again this doesn’t surprise. Just another unfortunate example of power corrupting.

 Isn’t it pathetic when the right wing – recently obsessed with comparing Sen. Obama to Bin Laden, Saddam and the dressing preference of Iran Pres. Ahmadinejad - has nothing better to do than to come out and scream their head off because an elected official wants to be sworn in to office on the book of his or her choice? Dennis Prager, whom BOOsh appointed to fill a seat in the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council until 2011 has come out chastising – and Rep. Virgil Goode would agree - Congressman-elect Keith Ellison because he wants to exercise this right. He baselessly criticizes this decision as unprecedented in the belief that the bible has “never been substituted by any other book”. Of course, just like most of the right wingers I know – including the advocate here in Newark which published an opinion piece that demanded an act of Congress (in violation of the First Amendment and Article VI) to mandate that all elected officials take their oath on the Holy Bible - this guy just doesn’t double check his facts before uttering the bulls**t that continues to spew from his mouth. Simply shameful that such a myopic individual represents the American people in the official memorial for the tragic holocaust…just plain sick.

 One of the very few decisions made by Gov. Taft that I agree with was his veto of an insane wing-nut bill that effectively overrode all gun laws made by local governments across the state. Repugs and some Democratic traitors in the General Assembly voted to override the veto. Get this, one provision of the law allows CCW license holders to bare a gun without having it in a casing or in plain sight. I bet that’ll help our police in doing their job…it was for THEIR protection assholes!! What is the point of local government if the state can just overrule their laws at will to serve special interest?!!!

 Its one thing to witness to a neighbor regarding the love of God, but it’s another to use that blessed word of God to back people into a corner where there is obviously one way out…through your personal views. In select prisons across the nation, prisoners have been subjected to religious organizations – proselytizing with our taxes – whom give these men and women an option involving said prisoners participation in a religiously toned rehabilitation program where “sincere efforts to turn from sin are made” in exchange for greater reach into an illusion of freedom where they eat takeout food, meet family in a more private setting and enjoy other luxuries. Definitely unconstitutional and unholy!!

 Isn’t it nice to know that we have a nonpartisan media that is interested in the unfiltered truth? Isn’t it nice that our society treats all people equal? Sense the sarcasm yet? Thought so…a man was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison after confessing to the FBI that he planned on obtaining Sarin Nerve Gas, placing it in a briefcase and then exploding said briefcase in the U.S. Capitol Building while Congress was in session!! The biggest news is that this received NO front page exposure…the catch? He’s a white right-wing extremist. Guess those guys that get covered on the headlines have to be a little more tanned year-round to earn it if you know what I mean. Well, then again, we can rest assured that the right-wing media will be ever vigilant against the “treasonous dupes” amongst them that dare stand up for rights as precious as free speech/press/religion and privacy and our numerous protections from an overzealous government…feel better now?

 Bill O’Reilly recently advised that in order to restore order in the region, our government may have to “level” places like “Tehran” (capital of Iran)…let’s hope and pray that the views of this psycho are on the far side of the right wing and not recognized as the “mainstream view.”

 What kind of message is sent out to the world when the CIA resorts to using Google to look for information regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions?!! LMAO…a sad day indeed. I guess that when the dictator’s information has been discredited, then the internet is the necessary last resort. They may actually learn about India’s involvement in aiding Iran attain such a weapon…LMAO!!

 How incredibly incompetent does this government have to be for five years to pass since the anthrax attack and the mystery behind it to remain unsolved?!! The new Democratic Congress is demanding answers from the Department of Justice…I’m shocked that nothing was done about this until now. Would anything be getting done if Repugs had retained power? Of course not – especially regarding anthrax - they’re too busy cancelling contracts for vaccines!!

 The Homeland Security Department’s Immigration raids have reportedly been discriminately based on skin color, and have even reportedly resulted in one innocent American getting caught up in the mix. How long before all criminal suspects are arrested, tried, convicted and punished based on this? We must stop this in its tracks!!

 In an effort to suppress the right of the people to have access to information regarding what their government is doing, BOOsh’s Regime recently subpoenaed the ACLU in order to intimidate them into relinquishing a leaked memo that is described as “mildly embarrassing” to the Regime…damn, talk about fighting “the enemy within”.

 The Civil War in the Iraqi Province of BOOsh’s Empire (“Iraqi Province” will henceforth be the official name of Iraq as recognized by this blog) – a place where the violence has increased by 22 percent in the past three months compared to the previous three - has become such a travesty that 95% of all Iraqis polled agree that “security better under Saddam” and 90% reveal that they are afraid when Imperial Troops are close by. Tell me that isn’t a representative of this government’s failure in the days of the BOOsh Doctrine…and then dare to say that to the Iraqi people. Hell, the right-wing media is convinced those polled are the problem with their country…thus meaning that this war has failed because the Iraqis refuse to conform to our rules and customs!! Let’s all just align behind people like O’Reilly and stop caring about Iraqis killing each other, after all, if they did so, it would become a better place anyway, right?

 It has been revealed that a large amount of funding for the Sunni insurgency is coming from private citizens in Saudi Arabia. Why isn’t the government over there – supposedly a strong ally of ours in the War to Terrorize – doing their job in cracking down on this? What does the BIC have to say about it? I want answers!!

 Members of the Christian Peacemaker Team have come out calling for the Iraqi government and the Imperial Forces to forgive the men that have been arrested and convicted for holding them (the CPT members) hostage for 118 days. Is this “liberal” (actually “open mindedness is Liberal”) or just plain moral? Both – as I just explained in parentheses – but there’s no doubt in my mind that the right wingers will view these people as cowardly, unchristian, and unpatriotic…just research what Ohio State Senator Joy Padgett (the Repug beaten senseless by Zack Space to replace Bob Ney….LOL) did to Terry Anderson in 2004, would you honestly put it past the rest of the pack?

 BOOsh decided that he would wait to decide on a new path for the Provincial War in Iraq until the New Year after previously revealing his intentions to get that decision to us before the eve of the Roman God Apollo/Mithra’s birthday. I guess he either doesn’t want to admit he’s a failure or that he has NO OTHER PLAN, but then again, both could be valid because if you remember, he did say that he didn’t want to be “rushed on Iraq”. The will of the American people, not your nerves will dictate when or if you’ll act on a certain matter, but once you have a man that thinks that we aren’t “winning or losing” (despite the facts), then we are bound to have some problems hammering the facts into his head!!

 After 3 years and nine months of war, the military has finally drafted a plan to create jobs to fight the insurgency!! Simple economics, POVERTY LEADS TO CRIME!!! It is so incredibly pathetic that it has taken them this long…

 Earlier this month, the people of this nation were treated to an early gift…the resignation of Recess Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton. Yes, I believe that any ambassador should be stern with our allies in this international body, but Bolton is insane. A man that said that the UN might as well not exist, and even implied that it wouldn’t matter if the headquarters in New York was attacked. He purposely antagonizes Iran, North Korea, Syria, and China to name a few. Just research some of the diarrhea that spewed from this man’s kisser on the floor of the UN, he didn’t mend, he divided. Thank God for his departure.

 A recent court ruling is being contested for its unconstitutionality because it requires certain protests to only take place for two hours a week!! I demand that the judge issuing this ruling review the NINTH AMENDMENT of the United States Constitution!!

 As the Holiday Season is evidently here, it is relevant to discuss just how careless BOOsh is, especially regarding the commuting and pardons of federal prisoners. In his six years dictating, BOOsh remains one of the stingiest occupants of the White House regarding the matter with only 113 pardons. The best – that I know of – was Jimmy Carter with over 560 pardons, what a way to represent the faith!!

 It is so amazing how much closer our nation comes to all communications being ran under a monopoly (more than likely seeing Time Warner as the sole beneficiary). The FCC recently voted to permit phone companies to offer cable services. All we need now is for Cable Companies to offer phone services and then Time Warner can take over the entire communications industry!! Just brilliant!!

Tonight's Conclusion

 A year ago tomorrow, I posted an entry exposing a portion of the TRUTH regarding Christmas Day.

 I want it to be known right now that my son will never celebrate Christmas, nor will he ever be lied to about the existence of Santa Clause. I view lying about anything as purely immoral, especially when one purposely misleads a child only to break their heart later on. This creates distrust and may even hamper their faith in God later in life.

 Now, I want to share with you some new information I haver just gathered regarding what deity was honestly given the 25th of this month as their "B-Day":

 Quoting directly from the website I attained the information (belonging to oneThomas A. Hobbs, kudos to you my brother):

"WHOSE BIRTHDAY?

 Just whose birthday was December 25?  The Encyclopedia Britannica further reveals, "Mithras, identified with Sol Invictus, thus became the giver of authority and victory to the imperial house" ([The Roman Caesars], 14th Edition, Vol. 15, p. 620). It goes on to say that the sanctification of Sunday and of the 25th of December are associated with Mithras.

 There you have it! December 25th is associated with the birth of the Babylonian Queen of Heaven (Tammuz), the Egyptian Queen of Heaven (Horus), Nimrod (the false Messiah, son of Baal), Mithras, and the unconquered sun (Solis Invicti). It is a day that is associated with paganism, heathenism, Baal worship, and ancient false saviors, false messiahs.

 The Savior warned long ago, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name saying ‘I am Messiah;’ and shall deceive many...And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many...For there shall arise false messiahs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect," Mt. 24:4, 11, 24."

 I finish this off by quoting - as I did last year - Mt. 23:25-33:

Well, maybe not a whole week...

 I have been adding headlines to my favorites list as I usually do, but this weekend will be way too busy to update this site by Sunday. Reason being that the 9th and 10th of December are very important in marking a new holiday; "Impeachment Day." Personally, I am hosting one of the only two events in Ohio that I know of on this particular day (the 10th). On the 9th, I will be on the square for two hours attempting to collect signatures, as well as sign up any willing volunteers for the Congressional District Impeachment Committee that I am leading. As one of my first acts, I sent a Letter to the Editor regarding both days, and have a feeling that the Advocate is waiting until tomorow before the publish it.

 Anyways, I just wanted to alert everyone of the preceeding and of the following:

Our Little Ole' Insane World...

 The National Science Teachers Association recently rejected an offer to receive free DVDs of “an Inconvenient Truth”, regarding the dangers of ignoring global warming. Why? They didn’t want to do two things, endorse any political view (this was Al Gore’s documentary, although the man hasn’t made any statement regarding a run for office) and they didn’t want to upset any of their supporters, namingly Exxon Mobil. Tragic…

 A new kind of insourcing/outsourcing has just been introduced to the world. Working robot-temps. These bots come from Japan and can work long hours, and the biggest plus, according to one of those involved with this new invention: “Just give it electricity, and a robot can work for long hours, even doing repetitive work, and you don't have to worry about labor laws.” Now isn’t that an inspiring thought for corporate monopolies such as Wal-Mart…think about it.

 Out of fearing the pending investigation by the Democratic Congress, the Department of Justice has announced that they will investigate the actions of the NSA in the Domestic Surveillance Program themselves. This comes in contrast to the fact that both the DOJ and the Defense Department rejected calls to investigate this program when it was first disclosed last year because of a lack of “jurisdiction”. What’s so different now, huh?

 Senator Russ Feingold (D) has said that he intends on holding a number of hearings regarding the loss of Habeas Corpus during the “War to Terrorize”. This could end up leading to the repeal or amending of the War Commissions Act of 2006.

 Congressman-Elect Keith Ellison, the first ever Muslim elected to Congress, was recently the subject for much discussion on many issues, first of all, was the aforementioned historical significance of his election, as well as Glenn Beck’s comment regarding that feat (mentioned in last week’s entry), and there are now two more big subjects:

1) Ellison was invited as a guest to a special meeting with BOOsh and said no, because he wanted to meet with Union members, citing that these are the people that he works for and that he intends to stay dedicated to.  

2) The fact that on January 4^th, 2007, Ellison has requested to be sworn in on the book of his faith, the Quran/Koran. This has – expectedly – resulted in much criticism – that Ellison is more dedicated to “Allah” than the Constitution - from the racist Right-Wing, where one pundit (Dennis Prager) stated that “America is interested in only one book, the Bible. … If you are incapable of taking an oath on that book, don’t serve in Congress.”

 Michael Savage says “Ellison won't swear to uphold the oath of office on the Bible, but on the Quran instead. This is unbelievable to me. So what's next? A witch gets elected, and she says she's gonna only be sworn in with her hand over a pentagram? Where does this end? Tell me when this ends, the tyranny of the psycho, whacked-out minority.”

 Then, Fox “News” pundit, Sean Hannitty has asked “what grounds will those of you defending this congressman's decision and his right to choose his favorite book, you know, would you have allowed him to choose, you know, Hitler's Mein Kampf, which is the Nazi bible? In other words, where does this stop? Is there any limitations whatsoever? Does anybody get any choice they want?”

 When you read the constitution, you find many incredible things. Observe Article VI “(All Elected officials) shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” Not to mention the First Amendment “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” Did I miss anything?

 No. The fact is that the people can elect whoever they want to office. If they wanted to elect a Scientologist, then that’s their choice. The Constitution not only protects us from a government that respects or prohibits any religion over the others, but it also protects our rights to freely exercise our own religious beliefs without government interference. Ellison is a Muslim, and he naturally believes that the Koran/Quran is the Holy Scriptural Book of God. Therefore it is his right to swear on this book. Besides, the Constitution also – as I pointed out above – that requiring elected officials to swear on any religious symbol (or taking any other test of faith) is strictly prohibited to honor the religious freedoms of this great land. Need I say more?

 BOOsh’s minions are planning to spend about 500,000,000 Dollars on the largest pResidential Library in the country. Rewriting history and sugarcoating the facts will be the biggest part of this project for sure. How do you feel about that? Half a billion dollars to lie to the world about the worst mistake in American history?! Tragic…

 Recently ousted Repug Senator George Allen introduced a bill – probably his last – that will permit carry concealed weapons in National parks. Isn’t that just awesome, gotta protect yourself from the many dangers of our parks where criminals often lurk waiting for helpless families to come wandering by unaware. Kudos to you Allen, making this your last laugh in Congress, thank you Virginia for ridding us of this extremist.

 Darth Cheney is apparently angry with BOOsh over the resignation of Rums-failed. The day BOOsh asked for Rummy to call it quits, a number of minions knew what was going down, the only man who didn’t was the scapegoat himself, kind of makes you feel sorry for then again….I have to think about the millions whose lives wouldn’t have been ruined had it not been for that man. The BOOsh Regime is all equally responsible for Rummy’s failures, and should all face the same fate as he.

 With all of the awesome results of November 7^th, there were some disappointments. You can’t win them all, and we must learn to accept defeat, when said defeat was fair. In Florida’s 13^th Congressional District as well as Ohio’s 15^th, it is possible that Repugs were able to steal these races. An automatic recount is required for the close race in my state’s 15^th district, but who knows what will become of the district that belonged to Katherine Harris, the same woman that helped BOOsh steal the White House in 2000 as Florida’s Secretary of State and Co-Chair for the Florida 2000 BOOsh Campaign?!!

 During a recent private reception held for incoming members of congress, Senator-Elect Jim Webb (D-VA) was inquired by BOOsh regarding the condition of his son – serving in Iraq – and Webb responded saying that he hopes to see his son come home soon. The BIC retorted insisting that “I didn’t ask you that, I asked how he’s doing.” It was then reported that Webb was so angered by the exchange that he wanted to slug the Bastard. Go right ahead, after you vote to convict him in the impending Impeachment trial!!

 The voters’ decision to place Democrats in control of Congress has the Pharmaceutical Companies scared that “bad amendments will be added” to impending legislation from now until 2009, effectively permitting imported drugs and price competition for Medicare covered medication. They are very angry over the losses of Santorum and DeWine, as well as Jon Tester’s victory, because it poses many problems…LMAO!! “AHHH, we actually have to work FOR the people that depend on us!!”

 Congressman Tom Tancredo (R) – possible 08’ Presidential Candidate – believes that Florida is becoming a Third World Country, because of the growing Hispanic population. What’s even more interesting is this guy’s knack for addressing and accepting the support of hate groups, maybe he can team up with Tommy Thompson in the Repug race for the next step in establishing not only a Fascist, but Racist America!!

 I believe - at some point since I joined Xanga over a year ago – that I reported on Repugs forcing taxpayers to pay for private Repug-only functions. Well, now it has happened again. On November 2^nd, Darth Cheney visited Northern Idaho to help campaign for Repug Candidates in closed/private events for Repugs only, and now the bill won’t be paid by the Idaho State Repug Party, but the taxpayers of the state themselves!! Over $3,000 was charged for the visit and the entire population has to foot the bill for an event that only a portion of them were eligible to attend, tell me there’s nothing wrong with that!!

 I may or may not have mentioned before about the fact that the BOOsh Regime would like to tell all of us when we can or should have sexual intercourse. That’s right, they want us to wait until marriage, and even until we are 30 years of age!! Check it out for yourself and try not to have a hernia from the laughter. Anyone ever watched that movie “Demolition Man”? LOL

 When the fear of a terrorist attack leads to the suppression of equal rights to pray to/worship whoever you wish, then said fear has gone too far. FDR was right to say we should only fear, fear itself, because it often leads to bad results. Six Muslim Imams were recently kicked off an airplane because a gate agent on board was tired of hearing them praying aloud in Arabic!! As a devout Christian and Proud American I demand that we treat everyone equally as is guaranteed under our Constitution. Either we learn to respect the faith of others or kick everyone off a plane when heard praying aloud or worshipping in public!!

 Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has said that there should be a “different set of rules” with regards to the First Amendment and fighting the “War to Terrorize”. Obviously referring to the rights to peaceable assembly and free speech, this man – possibly plotting a 2008 Presidential Run – wants to “deny or disparage” (see 9^th Amendment) our right to speak out against any governmental action that we disagree with, truly reprehensible.

 Pakistan, a proud member of BOOsh’s “coalition” is now asking NATO to accept their defeat by the Taliban, include them in the new government and exclude Hamid Karzai from his appointed position. Yet, the BIC still holds them in such high regards. Where in the hell do people get it that Repugs are better at National Security, beats me!!

 As a result of BOOsh’s decision to exploit and politicize the recent unveiling of a terrorist plot in London to blow up airliners, terrorists were actually able to get away. That’s right, BOOsh shed light on the issue, causing British Intelligence to speed up on their plan to capture the terrorists, thus allowing some of them to flee. Just great!!

 The European Union investigation into the existence of dozens of secret CIA prisons across Europe and elsewhere has revealed that over 1,200 flights were conducted by the CIA renditioning prisoners to countries including Italy, Britain, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Poland. Now, Secretary Buck-tooth-aleeza Rice is claiming that these nations and any possible others involved were full aware of these renditions that the Regime claimed didn’t exist until recently…hmm.

 In a very sensitive issue when discussing life in Afghanistan, the war on drugs takes a horrible toll on that nation’s poorest. The facts are clear, Afghanistan produces roughly 87% of the world’s opium (the plant responsible for heroin), and that production makes up over 1/3 of the Afghan gross domestic product. Furthermore, this opium trade is responsible for most of the financial support of the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and drug warlords across the country. It inevitably leads to crime and empowers the insurgency there. However, fighting it with the current tactics of our government (as well as the rest of the coalition) hurts the poor and barely affects the corrupt officials that permit the product to flourish in the country. The solution? Our government, and others involved need to offer an ALTERNATIVE to the Afghan people, instead of just wiping out their only source to making money. Poverty leads to crime, and always has for the most part. When people have good paying jobs that pay the bills and feed their families, there won’t be any desperate times that call for desperate measures. Rebuild the infrastructure of Afghanistan, brainstorm, and offer the Afghanis new and better options than the current illegal trade!!

 The idiot in charge/BIC/Dictator/BOOsh has come out in support of adding more countries to the Visa-Waiver program. This is despite the fact that evidence has been disclosed regarding Richard Reid (the shoe bomber) and Zacarias Moussaoui’s migration to our country through these Visa-Waiver Countries in order to execute their evil plots to kill massive amounts of innocent people. 9/11 all over again? Remember it was BOOsh’s Regime that failed to take advantage of the intelligence available to them regarding the plot on that fateful September Tuesday morning. I hate it when history repeats itself due to such ignorance!!

 Since February 22^nd, 2006, a steady rise in the “sectarian” violence in Iraq – a country that is currently seeing a medical system in worse condition than it was during any point in time during the sanctions and the Persian Gulf War - has displaced approximately 1,000 Iraqis per day (over 231,000 to date). Over one million Iraqis have fled the country since the war – now, since 11/26/06, longer than our involvement in the Second World War - began, at a pace of 100,000 a month. In October, over 3,000 Iraqis were killed from this civil war, and a 43 percent increase in civilian deaths for last month. Of course, while ignoring the truth of what this imperial conquest has become, BOOsh blames the violence on the mighty al-Qaeda (disregarding the fact that a number of generals recently testified that al-Qaeda is too weak in Iraq to even play a major part). According to some of BOOsh’s strongest idiots – err – minions, the violence in Baghdad is no different than violence in some of the major cities here in the states….LMAO!! It has been reported that the BOOsh Regime may have purposely “leaked” a memo to the media regarding the “ties” between terrorist organizing and the insurgency. Many fear the possibility that if this war doesn’t calm down or end soon, the effects could be felt all over the region as the sectarian feud spreads to Iraq’s neighbors.

 Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki was recently pelted with stones by angry Shiites when he was attending a funeral as the citizens – infuriated by the violence and recent imposed curfews – expressed their anger towards the man that they blame for the spreading civil war. Maliki’s government is on the verge of a split as well, while Sunnis and Shiites are actually uniting in parliament basically calling for an end to Maliki’s rule. This isn’t a failed war?

 No need to fret over the war in Iraq, because according to Bill O’Reilly, this isn’t civil war, rather these are “all Muslim….doing what they do.” Yeah, that’s right, hell, maybe we should delve further into O’Reilly’s psyche here and take his advice by running Iraq “like how (President and General Pervez) Musharraf runs Pakistan.” Then again, O’Reilly has recently endorsed running Iraq the same way Saddam did as well. Better yet, we could just look into the suggestions made by other Repugs to identify all Muslims with “crescent” marking on the bodies and documents.

 Hell, since we’re on the subject of taking the advice of our right wing media pundits, let’s look into the Limbaugh “doctrine”. Here’s what Rush Limbaugh said after a guest on a clip he played was talking about the possibility of three different civil wars across the Middle East by next year:

“All right, well, let's just have them. Let's just have the civil wars and let the crumbs crumble and the cookie crumble where -- because I'm fed up with this. The Palestinian situation -- for 50 years we've had the Palestinian situation, and it's not going to be solved until the Limbaugh Doctrine is imposed or tried. And that is, this is a war, and until somebody loses it, it isn't going to stop.

 And now, you know, we've done everything we can to make Lebanon a democracy, and it's crumbling because Syria keeps killing the popular leaders there. Meanwhile, the Hezbos [Hezbollah] keep expanding their influence in Lebanon. - But what the hell! We're going to bring Syria and Iran in to fix Iraq, why not let them just fix the whole region? If we're heading to civil war -- I mean, everybody comes to us: "You got to fix this and you got to fix that." So we go and try to fix it, and our own people, Democrats and the left in our country do their best to sabotage our efforts, and then we get blamed for trying to clean up the messes that these people start.

 And then they come on our television show: "[Gibberish] George [gibberish] civil war [gibberish] we gotta do something. Palestinians it's a must, it's a must, we must [gibberish] right now [gibberish] war." - Fine, just blow the place up. Just let these natural forces take place over there instead of trying to stop them, instead of trying to use -- I just -- sometimes natural force is going to happen. You're going to have to let it take place. You can spend all the time you like with diplomacy, and you can spend all the time you want massaging these things with diplomatic -- you're just -- you're just delaying the inevitable.” Then we have good ole’ loyal to the racist tone, Michael Savage advocating a ban on all Muslim immigration, and the construction of Mosques (Islam Holy Building) to “save our nation”, purely despicable!!!

 A family that put up a wreath in the shape of a peace sign was threatened with 25 dollar a day fines until they took it down, because it is “antiwar and anti-Christian.” Thank God that enough complaints were made about this and that idiot resigned, but now another family in North Carolina is being harassed regarding a memorial for our fallen in Iraq. This is what happens when you cut funding for education; people don’t know the rights protected by our laws, so they don’t stand up for them…duh.

 Fox News and other Ultra-Conservatives in the Media are claiming that the recent decision to kick Repugs out of control over Congress actually fosters the violence across the Middle East. Of course, this is no surprise (especially after you’ve read all of the excerpts from Right-Wing Broadcasts and Columns that I have) , but it is still a sad time in our country when the truth is shunned in favor of Nationalism and Empire.

 The Dictator has come out – as he has before – denouncing all calls for a plan to withdrawal; labeling such plans as premature. Face it people, he’s in severe denial that he f**ked up big time, and he isn’t about to repent any time soon, in addition to his plot to end any efforts to be diplomatic and ease tensions from the Sunnis by encouraging them to get involved with the political process. Hell, he doesn’t even have the balls to admit that Iraq is in a “civil war”…what a role model “Christian”, eh?

 It has also recently been disclosed that the former commanding officer Gen. Janis Karpinski stated that she has actually seen memos signed by Rums-failed not only authorizing but demanding that torture be used against prisoners of war. Another violation authorized by Dumb-ass was the tactic of not registering all prisoners before these harsh methods were employed. Yet, he has been awarded the “Freedom Award” by the Dictator. Incredible example that has been set for all of us!! After all, Rums-failed already has proven himself to be a great defender of freedom, especially against them damn peace protesters…wait, I am one of them!!

 British Defense Minister Des Browne has stated that British forces will begin to “drawback” from Iraq by the thousands by the end of 2007. These people know that the war is only causing more destabilization, and are showing this in their actions…don’t expect this from BOOsh as I mentioned two summaries ago…

 Citing the fact that BOOsh and his band of brainless followers don’t have the necessary evidence to gain support for an all-out military operation against Iran, the BIC expressed his sentiments regarding the justification of an Israeli attack on Iran, saying simply that he’d understand if such an event took place. Of course, BOOsh has no respect for the loss of innocent life, nor does he care how such an attack – with US support – would look to the rest of the region. God help us…IMPEACH HIM!!

 In a truly terrible outcome, a cop involved in the Dictator’s motorcade has died from injuries sustained in the recent crash. I am very sorry to hear about this and sincerely offer my thoughts and prayers to this public servant’s family.

Much to be thankful for and much to repent...

 The United States Department of Agriculture – under BOOsh’s authority – now refuses to use the word “hungry” when referring to a section of the population that – at times – goes without eating for a period of time. They prefer to use the term “low food security”…LMAO!! Yeah, I’ve had low food security at times….lol. Furthermore, the USDA withheld this report – from the traditional report release in October – until after the election. Link or bad timing, you decide.

 In taking over Congress, Democrats plan to revive the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations that has been dead since the Repugs disbanded it in 1995 after having taken over of Congress themselves. The days when Checks and Balances are truly existent return in 2007!!

 Now that Democrats control Congress, an increase in the Federal Minimum Wage is in the horizon. Senator Kennedy (D-MA) has promised to bring the issue before Congress – for the umpteenth time – in the next two years to increase the wage from 5.15 to 7.25/hr. Here’s just what such an increase will buy for America’s poorest: 15 months of groceries, 19 months of utilities, 8 months of rent, Over two years of health care, 20 months of child care, 30 months of college tuition at a public, 2 year college. Why was that such hassle for Repugs?

 Just when Repugs would have you believe that November the 7^th’s big Democratic Victories meant higher taxes for the middle class, incoming-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has called for tax cuts/deductions for the Middle and Lower Class Americans. Wonder how Repugs will spin this?

 Furthermore, the Democratic Controlled 110^th Congress is already promising to treat the Repugs in a manner unlike how those ousted from control treated the minority in the past few congressional sessions; pertaining to their involvement in legislation. How’s that for having your cake and eating it too?

 Although Repugs in the media have been trying to defend BOOsh and say that he will get a “bump in the polls” in the aftermath of Saddam’s Verdict and the Election, the opposite has transpired. Newsweek recently reported a 31% approval rating for the Dictator…LMAO!! He has most definitely “spent” that “political capital”!

 Right-Wing media pundits are now smearing the image of Liberal Blogs with poll questions such as “Are Liberals Blogs sending the same message as terrorists?” LMAO!! What would that identical message be exactly? “We care for the well-being of our soldiers and our nation’s relationship with neighboring nations, and want this madness in the Mideast to cease ASAP!!” This propagandist bull**it has gone too far!!

 Repugs plan on replacing Ken Mehlman with Senator Mel Martinez as RNC Chairman. Martinez is the guy who was responsible for advising Repugs through an infamous memo on how to politicize the Terri Schiavo case for their gain in the next few elections. Awesome choice guys!!

 Does anyone – old enough – remember the FACT that Newt Gingrich campaigned in 1994 on the promise that if he became House Speaker, he’d launch investigations into the Clinton Administration until – at least – 1997. What’s the major problem with a Democratic Controlled Congress investigating the policies of the BOOsh Regime to simply restore Congressional Oversight? Think about it.

 In recent years – since 2004 – it has become increasingly apparent that the label of “Flip-flopper” was definitely misplaced. Instead of giving this crown of discombobulation to Senator Kerry (D-MA) it really belongs to Senator and possible 08’ Presidential Candidate McCain (R-AZ). McCain has flipped on issues ranging from the duration of the Iraq War to the issue of Roe v. Wade a “moderate” he is not!!

 Seven minutes after Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi left the Oval Office following a “bipartisanship meeting”, BOOsh quickly returned to partisan politics by sending an official request to the Senate for Recess Ambassador to the UN John Bolton to be confirmed!! Way to go Dubbie!! He even seeks re-nominating a few other extremists as well…so much “bipartisan” spirit in the air, eh?

 Radio Host Michael Savage wants YOU to beware of the Homosexual (from his show):

I’ve known, worked with, hung out with and just plain talked to many gay people in my very short life-span. My family knows a number of gay friends, and NOT ONE of these people has ever advocated the elimination of religion neither have they ever hinted towards wanting the US Government to bow before them!! LMAO!! Talk about “fear”…LMAO!!!

 Using the Military Commissions Act of 2006 (which might be on it’s way to be repealed or at least amended in a way that doesn’t curtail any rights now that we have taken Congress) is now being used in arguments by the Dictator and his lawyers to deny that any detainees - whether or not their detention is overseas or here in the states (remember Jose Padilla?) - have the right to contest their detention in civilian court or to have witnesses testify in their defense/opposition nor to even have access to what the government construes as “evidence”. Seeing how none of these “detainees” are classified as prisoners of war, nor are they viewed as regular criminals under apprehension by this government, Repugs have defined them in a new light. Apparently, unlike POWs and other criminals, these “detainees” reserve none of the rights guaranteed by the Constitution or international law. Since they are “detainees”, Habeas Corpus – the belief that all are innocent until proven guilty - doesn’t apply. What do BOOsh’s lawyers say regarding the matter? “(Giving military detainees access to civilian courts) would severely impair the military's ability to defend this country.” Yeah, right.

 I wonder how Glenn Beck can live with himself at times. This is what Mr. Beck said on his show to his special guest and first ever Muslim elected to Congress (Keith Ellison D-MN):

“You are saying, "Let's cut and run." And I have to tell you, I have been nervous about this interview with you, because what I feel like saying is, "Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies." And I know you're not. I'm not accusing you of being an enemy, but that's the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way.”

 Of course, Mr. Ellison wasn’t saying “cut and run”, that’s just Repug propaganda to distort the real message which is that we need a plan to win the peace and GET OUR SOLDIERS HOME!! Truthfully despicable.

 Do you remember when Senator Trent Lott (R) was Majority Leader and was forced to step down from that post because of the following comment? “When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years, either.” (Mr. Thurmond ran for President as a SEGREGATIONIST) Now the Repugs have decided to elect this man as incoming Senate Minority Whip…the third most powerful Repug in the Senate (Behind Cheney and Frist)!! What the F*** are they thinking?

 How’s this for “fair and balanced”; a recently uncovered memo from the head guy over at “Fox News” to all of his subordinates urges his employees to not be discouraged by the Democratic Victories on election day and then directs them on a new mission that involves linking the Congressional turnover of power to terrorist/insurgent rejoicing all over the globe and in Iraq. How’s this “news” organization in any way shape or form independent from the Repugs again? How are they open minded to the truth and not subject to biased reporting in favor to conservative ideals? The answer is clear; Fox News is, always has been and always will be a propagandist tool of the PNAC/BOOsh Agenda!!

 Any of you familiar with Former Wisconsin Governor and BOOsh Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson? Well, he’s also the chairman of a company called “VeriChip”, based in Florida and responsible for technology that has been researching and experimenting with microscopic chips that can be implanted in our skin, holding within all our personal information…well, he’s now running for President in 2008…oh goodie!!

 The War to Terrorize has drained so much money from our military’s budget that it has now requested a second delay (from 2007 to 2015 and then to 2023) of the International Deadline to dispose of our aging chemical arsenal. This is purely the fault of Commander BOOsh for his incredible decision as the “Decider” (a self proclaimed title) to invade a nation that was not a threat to us and had not attacked us nor had it ever taunted us to attack…genius BOOshy!!

 Repugs plan on leaving a s**tload of unfinished business in their Democratic Successors’ laps. The plot was to purposely delay finishing over a trillion dollars in unresolved spending bills to delay and hinder the Democrats from implementing their own agenda. Talk about partisan politics. The main attempt it to delay the coming wage increase for minimum wage workers. Unfortunately, another victim in this is that thousands of Doctors across the country face a cut in their compensation for treating Medicare patients. Did America make a mistake ousting these heartless bastards? NO!!

 BOOsh recently urged all Americans to embrace our democracy where we “(hold) elections even in a time of war.” There is a subliminal message here that says: “I disagree with the outcome of November 7^th’s Election. The people obviously didn’t get the point that they weren’t supposed to put the Democrats in control of Congress, they are weak, remember?!!” The Repugs spent all of their free time demonizing Democrats as being “weak on terror” and unable to face the “enemy” down, but their policy of “fear” has failed as the American people chose in our DAY OF RECKONING that HOPE is BETTER THAN FEAR!!

 The CIA has officially acknowledged that extraordinary interrogation techniques have been or still are being implemented on those being detained for suspected terrorism. It has even shown light on a “directive” signed by BOOsh initially authorizing this harsh treatment. Another constitutional violation….hmmm…when will he ever pay for his deeds?

 As BOOsh is actively seeking “phase two” in the “war against the axis (of evil)”; the CIA recently concluded in a report that there was no conclusive evidence to support the theory that Iran is secretly working on Nuclear Weapons while trying to “cover it up” with an energy program. Apparently, BOOsh didn’t like the report and was “hostile” to it. Furthermore, I’ve learned that Darth Cheney reportedly discussed how the Regime wouldn’t change their plans for Mideast Imperial Conquest even in the event of a Congressional turnover of power. Figures…

 Seeking to cover up their misdeeds in Iraq; Congressional Repugs snuck a provision in legislation passed last month that initially shuts down the office of “Special Inspector General or Iraq Reconstruction”. Why would they do such a thing? Probably because this office has been responsible for busting a number of corrupt officials in the rebuilding of the war-torn nation. Democrats are promising to restore authority to this office in order to retain oversight in Iraq, again I thank you America for the miracle that was Election Day 06’!!

 Not looking forward to worsening relations and reigniting the war with their Northern Counterpart, South Korea has come out in opposition to BOOsh’s Proliferation Security Initiative which actively seeks DPRK ships to deter the proliferation of WMDs and other lethal weapons. With all that has gone on since 2002, can you blame them?

 Here’s a report important on a biblical scale; Israel has announced their intentions to create and mass produce a “bionic hornet” that is as small as the dreaded insect and lethal enough to kill any intended target of the Israeli Government!! Not only is this scary considering the possibility of Genocide that could be committed by the possessor of such a weapon but is bone chilling when someone – like myself – has been such a student of Biblical Prophecy. Look in the Book of Revelations, in the Trumpet Judgments, for the hornet that is seemingly made of metal and terrorizes the population. Of course, this is merely symbolic but the similarity is equally frightening.

 President Vladimir Putin of Russia is worse than I originally thought. A former Russian spy that defected to Britain in opposition to Putin’s government ordering him to assassinate a critic of that government was recently poisoned while on the lookout for potentially damaging information to Russia. Guess who the number one suspect in the poisoning is.

 To those of you that thought BOOsh’s Impeachment was “off the table” this news might be encouraging. It appears that Congressman Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) has made his intention to press for congressional investigations into BOOsh’s actions LOUD AND CLEAR!! This is good, but also rejoice in the fact that YET ANOTHER NAME has been added to the Co-Sponsor list for H.RES. 635!!

...which starts with the 6th....

 The following was the presentation I gave at the November 6th meeting of Newark City Council:

"I come here tonight with a promise as well as a message; the message being the best case that I can present regarding whether or not Mr. Bush and his administration should face impeachment, removal as well as any and all future punishments for the crimes that they have been accused of; I’ve come to refer to the following presentation as the “Seven Points”.

 The promise is that this will be the last time I plead for your action on this issue. I assure you that I indeed had it planned to speak on this matter no less than 20 times, or until action was taken, but I’ve thought a lot about my efforts. The decision to discontinue didn’t come easily, but was only decided upon after weighing the facts along with private counseling through prayer.

 Instead of antagonizing this council any further, after tonight I’ll redirect all of my energy and time to pressing our elected federal officials on the matter. Now, if you’ll bear with me, and remain patient, I’ll proceed with my final case:

 The Bush Administration has committed a number of unconstitutional acts; the first “point” regards the following:

 The First Amendment of the United States Constitution reads:

“Congress shall make no law …abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

 Reports from the Times Argus, LA Times and MSNBC among others have unveiled the fact that many anti-war groups are under surveillance by this federal government, including Quakers. It has become apparent that dissention equals “suspicious activity” that is tantamount to comforting the “terrorists” or even contemplating acts of terrorism. The Denver Post reported that a group of people attained tickets to a town-hall style tax-paid rally for Bush’s Social Security plan and were kicked out by security because they were identified as the owners of a vehicle that had an antiwar bumper sticker.

 The American Conservative and the Associated Press have reported that this administration has established “Free Speech Zones”; designed to keep dissenting opinions at a safe and inaudible distance from anyone in the administration that may become irritated. Nowhere in the constitution does it say that there is an appropriate setting for dissent. What is the point of voicing your opposition if the intended audience is safely protected from hearing your concerns? This is a true crime against a Democratic-Republic.

 Crime against the First Amendment involve bribery as well; in 2005 it was revealed that a news pundit by the name of Armstrong Williams was under the payroll of the Bush Administration to spread pro-policy propaganda to his viewers. His propagandist actions include the promotion of Bush’s Healthcare Policies in the last weeks of the 2004 Election. Any action taken by this government to suppress the truth in the media is illegal, and this administration has built a reputation for paying millions of dollars to our media and those in other countries to spread favorable news. To curtail the right of the people to know the untainted truth is a crime against liberty.

 The second “point” combines the following:

 The Sixth Amendment says:

“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury …and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.”

 The Eighth Amendment says:

“Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

 The Scoop, LA Times, Washington Post, the Associated Press alongside others have reported that thousands of people have been detained by our government and held for months with absolutely no charges pressed against them. Even Americans have fallen victim to these abuses. The recent passage of the War Commissions Act – or HR 6166 – supposedly opens the doors for Bush’s government to detain any suspected terrorists – including Americans – indefinitely without charges. It then affirmed the administration’s policies of not permitting the accused to contest charges against them and to plea their case of innocence; in a public and speedy trial.

 The Writ of Habeas Corpus – or the belief that all are innocent until proven guilty – can not be ignored. However, this government’s actions defy constitutional and international law through their suppressive actions. Furthermore, numerous reports have revealed – and our government even confirmed – the existence of secret CIA prisons across Europe and Northern Africa. The renditions of suspected terrorists have allowed a number of innocent people to be held for months, and even tortured. In fact, recent reports indicated that an innocent Canadian man – en route to his home – was captured by our government in New York and then shipped to Syria where he was tortured until that government concluded he had no terrorist ties and released him. Neither the suspension of the right to contest charges or torture can be and never will be condoned by international and constitutional law.

 “Point” number three involves the following:

 The Fourth Amendment reads:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

 Not one person in this room is alien to the knowledge of Bush’s Domestic Surveillance Program. The Washington Post reported that Congress NEVER granted Bush the authority to spy on any American without warrant. A report came out that the FISC was informed of the program but never granted permission for it. MSNBC revealed that the DHS has even been going through the private mail of certain Americans. In a 2004 campaign speech, Bush said the following:

“…there are such things as roving wiretaps. Now... any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it …requires a court order. Nothing has changed… When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so…constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution.”

 The now non-existent Knight Ridder once revealed that the Justice Department believed in 2002 that the FISC was fully functional. So the excuse that the court designed to enforce FISA wasn’t capable to keep up with this war on terror is completely debunked.

 When you read the fourth amendment, you see that it says all private “papers” are protected from government surveillance, unless a warrant is presented. When the founding fathers conceived this amendment, they obviously didn’t have phones or emails in mind because neither existed at that time. The only form of long distance communication that existed then was private letters. “Papers” is defined as all important documents and other private material. It is reasonable to conclude that the founders included papers to protect every document and form of communication from overzealous government surveillance. “Papers” undoubtedly covers computer files and phones as well as paper forms of communication. No exception here, a warrant is ALWAYS needed. Furthermore, the constitutional duty of any government official to obey laws passed by Congress in the past and present – including FISA – can’t be ignored.

 The fourth “point” involves the events leading up to and during the Iraq War. The Sunday Times in Great Britain unveiled the Downing Street Memo from July of 2002 where a British official reported on a meeting between the Bush and Blair government regarding Iraq. Among many other things the memo is quoted as saying that Bush “wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy...” and that “Military action was now seen as inevitable.” This is all contrary to speeches by Bush himself in the march to war where he said things like:

“We are doing everything we can to avoid war in Iraq”

And “This war came to us, not the other way around.”

 Although reports from government agencies and other governments concluded that there were no ties to al-Qaeda and there were no WMDs, Bush said the following: “Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised.”

 The LA Times revealed that the French even investigated the Niger Sales claim – at the request of the CIA – and alerted our government that this was a lie way before Bush mentioned it in his 2003 State of the Union Address. The Washington Post has revealed that an ex-CIA official who coordinated efforts in the Middle East until last year has accused the Bush Administration of purposely misleading all of us in the march to war. The fact is that there are so many reports available that show how our government misled us into the current quagmire in Iraq.

 “Point” five involves international law. The constitution talks about our government’s legal obligation to obey treaties in which our nation has partook:

Article II, Section 2 says:

“(The President) shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur”

Article VI says:

“(A)ll Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land.”

 The Nuremburg Principals and the Geneva Conventions – both of which the United States was a signature participant – condemn aggressive military action. This was set on the precedent of the Nuremburg Trials where the international community condemned Nazi Germany’s excuse that their war of aggression was supposedly pre-emptive to protect them from some future threat by their enemies. The condemnation was led by a member of the Supreme Court; Robert H. Jackson who not only labeled the war as a”war of aggression” but further stated that: “To initiate a war of aggression… is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole.”

 Another report has revealed that a man that prosecuted the Nazis in the Nuremburg Trials has even come out demanding that Bush and his Administration face charges for their war crimes. Is it so hard to see this for what it is?

 The sixth “point” regards the most serious crime that can ever be committed by any American, Treason.

 Treason is defined in the constitution – in Article III, Section 3: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

 When Ambassador Joseph Wilson revealed his trip to Niger where he investigated the weapons sale claim to the media, the Bush Administration sought to pay him back. Wilson’s report was damaging because it condemned Bush for using the claim in his State of the Union and revealed that the claim was based on a very unreliable source.

 Payback came in the form of a report by Robert Novak that Valerie Plame – Wilson’s spouse – was an agent of the CIA and likely the reason that Joseph was able to inspect the matter. Reports by MSNBC and others have revealed that Plame was still on a covert mission when her identity was revealed. In fact, they would later reveal that she was on a mission investigating Iran’s ambitions with regards to WMDs. That’s right; the quest for political revenge endangered our national security and aided our enemies in the event that they have been trying to attain WMDs.

 Bush and Cheney’s direct involvement in this matter has been reported by the New York Sun who reported Scooter Libby himself claiming that Bush authorized the leak, as well as the Associated Press that further reported on the involvement of Bush and Cheney. The severity of this issue is clear; these men are guilty of the highest crime against the state. Their reckless actions to protect their policies endangered the lives of Americans on a mission to protect our national security. How does this not constitute treason?

 Finally, the seventh “point” regards the Ninth Amendment which says:

“The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

 It has come to my attention that this is perhaps the most overlooked amendment when it comes to this administration. The amendment literally means that the rights and powers granted within this document can not be interpreted to restrict the rights and powers granted to others. Effectively, no branch of government can claim to have some authority to curtail any rights of the ones they serve. Neither can any branch of government restrict the authority of the other two.

 The War Commissions Act, the Patriot Act, and any other act of Congress that has violated this amendment are therefore voided by it. There is no exception to the rule.

 One of our founders, Benjamin Franklin once said: “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

 No truer words could’ve ever been spoken, especially in relation to our current era. When a student of history examines current events and compares them to lessons of history, we must think about where our country is headed. I now define the supposedly overused word; fascist: “A reactionary or dictatorial person.”

 How is the incredible interpretation of executive authority to ignore laws both Constitutional and International in order to take actions that favor said executive’s policies not dictatorial? How is manipulating an entire nation’s fear of enemy attack in order to build support for one’s policies not reactionary?

 President James Madison once said: “If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.” Is it possible that the events unfolding before all of us could be an affirmation of this great leader’s honest beliefs? It’s worth a look.

 In conclusion, I thank City Council for giving me the opportunity to speak on this matter. Although I won’t harass this body to act anymore, I still plead one last time for your intervention. I’ll respect your decision no matter what it is, but we must all remember that any national issue still affects local issues in the long run.

 Imagine, if Bush is permitted to continue setting precedents for future officeholders to disregard the Constitution; then what does the future hold for this society? If a true Authoritarian Dictatorship is eventually created through these precedents, will that not affect this community? Think about it. Thank you."

 In response to my speech, along with a little applause from the audience, I then heard from a number of City Council Members:

7th Ward Councilman/Minority Leader William Rauch (D): Reinforced his belief that this wasn't the proper forum for a debate regarding Bush's impeachment. He underlined his new opinion that concurs with that of the Democratic National Committee and the DLC that "actions against (Bush) would be counter-productive". This is the same man that signed my petition targeted for 12th District Congressman Pat Tiberi (R) and 18th District (my) Congressman-Elect Zack Space (D). He did add some humor in the mix when he stated that he was contemplating a visit to President Harding's grave for placement of a wreath to pay respects for a man that is historically remembered as the most corrupt President ever.

Councilman At-large/Majority Leader David Rhodes (R): Agreed with Rauch once agains about the forum, but noted that "history is the only real judge" regarding BOOsh's conduct in office. As if we are all too dumb to judge for ourselves what a tyrant is...

2nd Ward (my) Councilwoman Shirley Stare (D): Although in agreement regarding the popular view that this was not the appropriate legislative body to make these requests to, she commended me on my research and dedication to the issue. She noted that she admired me for my knowledge and courage.

Councilman At-Large Bob Diebold (R): Noted that although he may disagree with me on a wide variety of issues, he admires my dedication to research, and even noted that his daughter has been reading the Council Minutes and was quite intrigued by my previous presentations. He then once again - as he had the first time - stated that only the people have the real answers and the future course of this government is in our hands.

Council President Marc Guthrie (D): Proudly stated his admiration for my courage, and research. He gave me credit in noting his sincere belief that this movement is not about politics with me (he is correct, I'd be just as vigilant if the tyrant was a Democrat). He then declared that even though there is a very popular opinion that this debate didn't belong in Council, "every citizen has a right to speak before Council on any matter they wish." God bless Guthrie!!

After the meeting, 4th Ward Councilman John Uible (R) approached and thanked me for my hard work and dedication and encouraged me to keep coming back. Councilwoman At-Large Irene Kennedy (D) came up to me and we talked a bit about how a new Congress will be better positioned to actualy do something about the constitutional crisis at hand...and then I had a civil conversation with 5th Ward Councilman Don Ellington (R) regarding previous corrupt President Democrat and Repug. Either way, I heard nothing but compliments...as well as the consistent message that "we will never act" How tragic.

 But now...we HAVE TAKEN OVER CONGRESS, 51-49 SEATS in the SENATE and more than 220 out of 435 seats in the HOUSE!!!

 It has been revealed – in a report that the Regime planned to withhold until after the election – that in a five year period of time; 7 million more people are starving in the United states (from 31 Million in ’99 to 38 Million in ‘04). Now that Congress is ours, we can begin to REVERSE this trend!!

 The New York Times has reported that a new law passed by the now ousted Repug Congress requires proof of citizenship for CHILDREN born to immigrants. I can understand taxpayers not wanting to pay bills for illegal immigrants, but children should NEVER pay for their parents crimes…there’s nothing MORAL about this law!!

 Does anyone really take these Right-wing radio hosts seriously? I hope not! Michael Savage recently came out and claimed that there is no way to reason with an Arab; read the following from his show: “when you're dealing with Arabs, there are no friends. They're old rug traders going back a thousand years in that part of the world. Right now, one side is your friend; the other side is your enemy. The next day, they're both stabbing you in the back and picking your pockets. But I guess they don't teach you that at Yale. They teach you that all cultures have something to offer the world.” Interesting mindset…Hell, this guy even came out ridiculing Ethiopians because they have “flies around their eyes”…what the hell is wrong with him?!!!

 Lord Cheney has stated that if he was subpoenaed by Congress; he probably wouldn’t appear anyway. Of course, the hypocritical Repugs fail to jump all over this declaration when they criticized Clinton for – at first – refusing to testify for Kenneth Starr in the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Hopefully, the new Congress will do its job and keep a system of checks and balances!!

 In the aftermath of the government’s bosses (us) ousting the Repugs from controlling Congress; the Repugs are – in turn – firing their “leader” RNC Chair Kenneth Mehlman. Turns out that BOOsh’s pick to replace Ed Gillespie in 2004 didn’t end up being such a great idea. Hmm, two years of huge Democratic Wins across the country seems pretty damning to me too…LOL!!

 It has become apparent that Repug attempts to intimidate and disenfranchise voters from Virginia to Florida and other states was not absent in this election. Repugs attempted to mislead likely-Democratic voters regarding the date of the Election, and even told some Hispanic-Americans in the Western States that they might get arrested if they voted “illegally”. Will they ever truly respect Democracy? We should all know the answer now!!

 It is possible that a new wave of investigations will be launched by the Democratic Takeover of congress, but the fact is that we need to keep putting pressure on our new Congress to act or those that don’t want to lose their power will keep saying that it is “off the table”. Incoming Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Incoming Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee John Conyers need to ignore the demands of the DLC, DSCC, DCCC and even the DNC when it comes to the Constitutionally mandated duty to protect and defend that very document by holding government officials accountable for their crimes…as I said before…the war is not yet over!!

 Although he said it some two weeks ago, Darth Cheney admitted with glee that he supports water-boarding – a technique that creates the “sensation” of drowning – saying that it was a “no-brainer” in certain cases. Nothing justifies torture, nothing.

 Lord Cheney and Conservatives in the media also feel that the Domestic Surveillance Program and the Patriot Act aren’t even “debatable.” Truth is, BOOsh actually issued one of those damned controversial “statements” when renewing the Patriot Act declaring that he wasn’t bound to abide by provision in the act that require him to report how he enforces the law to Congress. What arrogance!!

 A number of nations across the globe are following the U.S. example of detainee treatment. Every time they are accused of mistreating anyone, they simply say: “well we are only doing what our role models in America do.” Awesome example that BOOsh and his crew set for all huh?

 Isn’t it amazing how our government has been able to get away with certain acts in the past few years. Unless the facts have escaped you; all should remember the fact that our government has been violating international and constitutional law throughout the “war to terrorize”. The secret detention of prisoners in secret CIA prisons in Second World Europe and Northern Africa has been a very controversial subject, and it has even been revealed that the CIA tried to silence any opposition by the European Union. One member of the EU – Germany – was targeted by the CIA who tried to coerce them to prevent the Europeans from taking any further actions regarding the prisons; this was all in exchange for contact with a German citizen that was being held in one such prison in Africa…incredible!!

 BOOsh is seeking to silence detainees from sharing information regarding “interrogation techniques” with the public, or even with their own LAWYERS. Saying that revealing such information could be potentially “damaging” to their efforts in the “war to terrorize”, and by justifying this suppression with the unconstitutional Military Commissions Act of 2006, these people are essentially trying to strip the detainees of their inherent right to defend themselves against accusations that have been filed against them. Our Democrats in Congress have an obligation to stand up to this abuse of power; it is a MORAL imperative that action be taken ASAP!!

 Did anyone else notice how the death sentencing of Saddam Hussein was postponed until the Sunday before Election Day? Coincidence or connection? You be the judge.

 Bill O’Reilly said a really funny and odd thing during a recent interview with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich: ”Isn't it interesting that Iraq now -- this Muslim country that 10 years ago nobody even heard of, all right, is now impacting on how we live in America.” Ten years ago…1996? Did we not go to war with Saddam in 1990-1991…this man is beyond delusional!!

 Finally, after almost 4 years of the worst American War since Johnson and Nixon’s catastrophe in Vietnam, Dumb-ass Rums-failed is now GONE!! The Dictator willingly lied – even admitting that he did so – before the election vowing not to ask for either Lord Cheney or Rums-failed’s resignation after the election. Now, after the “evil liberals” have taken over Congress, he must now cover his ass in an attempt to distract the new management of Congress from launching a wave of investigations that could lead to further punitive actions against him; so, Rums-failed becomes a scapegoat and the first victim of BOOsh’s last two years of rule. His proposed replacement for Rummy is a guy named Robert Gates that was once a board member of a controversial vote machine company…how’s that for trying to reconcile differences?

Tonight's Conclusion

 Although the battle of Election Year 2006 has been won (the second battle victory since the 2005 Election). the war is far from over. We have little over two more years left of BOOsh's tenure in office. But now the "leaders" of our National Party are declaring that we will NOT impeach BOOsh. Remember, these are not Repugs, so these guys WILL be more inclined to listen to our demands. Right now, they are listening to their own corporate demons (aka the DLC). We must silence the corporate masters with our own combined booming demands!!

 Our new Congress has many problems to take care of. The war, Healthcare, Social Security, the economy, jobs, diplomacy, National Debt and other budget crises, etc. However, the FIRST and most important issue regards their constitutional duty to protect and preserve the very system that they serve. Phase Two of the Impeachment Movement is now underway!!

My Friends, the day is almost upon us...and things are really picking up!!

 Let me first talk about the speech before City Council on the 16th of October, starting with the speech that I gave (in original context):

"My reasoning for being here should be quite obvious.

  I’m here with the ambition of changing the course of events that are laid out before us on the national scale. I’m not here for any personal publicity stunt, because I could care les if anyone ever knows my name. Recognition is insignificant next to the importance of upholding and protecting the rule of law.

 The only publicity I seek is for my cause. The only recognition sought is for the issue at hand. My goal is to increase awareness of the crimes that have been committed by the officeholders of the Federal Executive Branch, and to demand action to hold those criminals accountable.

 Some think that I should start a petition to get an initiative on the ballot, but that wouldn’t take effect until November of next year, and the severity of this matter demands immediate action. Others have advised me to wait until November 7^th to send a message to Congress – via my vote. What happens if Democrats don’t take Congress back? Does our government then do nothing because of partisan politics? Regardless of whether the Democrats or Republicans control Congress within the next couple months, I’m simply requesting that this council send a clear message to our Representatives in the House.

 I’ve been told that if something isn’t mandated then this Council is “not able” to take action. This is – as I have learned – untrue, because there is no law or rules prohibiting the resolution that I seek. This body has often passed resolutions that were not part of some mandate. Furthermore, not every piece of legislation passed by this Council has been popular with the overall population, so the excuse of not wanting to pass a resolution in an unfriendly political environment isn’t very credible either.

 It has been said that the mere thought of debating this issue would be “fun”, but isn’t proper for this arena, because of the need to focus on city issues; however, I am not asking you to have fun, I’m asking you to take a stand, a serious one.

 I understand that political divisiveness is a road block to engaging this matter, but partisan politics has already played a part, in your in action. The Republicans wish not to act on the matter simply because the accused is a member of their own party. The Democrats don’t act to resist the urge to look too radical and “out of touch”. What is so out of touch about this? What is there to fear about asking for an investigation that may lead to impeachment?

 If Impeachment was so out of touch, then why is the word used so much in our Constitution? Why did our founding fathers make it a point to inform the public in both present and future of this congressional duty to keep the other two branches in check, by holding them to account? What’s the worst that could happen for the Republicans? If Bush is innocent of the crimes that he has been accused of committing, then a thorough investigation – led by a bi-partisan select committee – will not seek impeachment proceedings. Is it a fear of what such an investigation will unveil?

 I know that this body has no obligation to act. However, there is an old saying: “When something is wrong, those who have the ability to do something have the responsibility to do something.” The responsibility is not mandated, but it is a patriotic obligation to stand and demand accountability.

 In fact, since the first time I brought this issue before you, two more local governments have taken this issue up; with an approved referendum by the City Council in Montpelier, Vermont and an upcoming vote on the endorsement of H.Res.635 by the Ulster County Legislature in New York.

 I mean no disrespect towards this council, nor do I seek to demean any member within. It is not my goal to diminish the patriotic image of my local government. I’m simply begging that you call for action.

 I will keep making my case every meeting as I continue to long for such action. It is my privilege to humiliate myself in defense of liberty. So, as I close, I welcome anyone to approach me after the meeting in order to sign my petition that I’ll send to the Congressional Officeholders of Ohio’s 12^th and 18^th Districts.

 After all legislation was dealt with, I received only a few replies...

Councilman/Minority Leader William Rauch (D): He stated that he "loves" responding to me and felt that taking on this issue would be "fun" - from his perspective - but still doesn't belong in this forum. He even remarked on how an ex-member of council recently scoured him for criticizing BOOsh, claiming that the post of "president" is appointed by God. What the?

Councilman/Majority Leader David Rhodes (R): He really didn't have any response to my comments but merely stated that the council should return to "local business" following the election. He was obviously irritated...lol...

Councilman Don Ellington (R): Spoke breifly but mocked Rauch and I saying simply in conclusion of his comments "God Bless the President and Go Bucks!!" This man is definitely a pompous ass!!

 When the meeting was adjourned, Councilmembers Rauch and Kennedy (Ds) approached me and requested the petition to sign it. Council President Guthrie (D) then asked me to send him the petition's text via email so that he could read it before signing. The following was the email I sent to President Guthrie:

"Attached is the petition text; I'm also writing to let you know that I've been thinking really hard about what I am trying to get the council to do. I can honestly say that I wasn't feeling very good yesterday and was feeling the pain of a severe headache during the last hour of the meeting.

Tonight's Conclusion

 Between all the scandals, weapons in space, nuke tests and proposals to commit mass genocide, I really found myself inspired by the movie "V for Vendetta". I know it's been out for a little while now, but I do strongly recommend this film. It is awesome from beginning to end. More on the impeachment movement as the countdown continues for my Final Speech!!

The Following is dedicated to the oh-so impatient Gopher...

 On October 2nd, 2006, I went to City Council and gave my follow up speech to the first address just two weeks prior: (The following is in original text and isn't exactly as spoken since there was some minor grammatical changes)

"Members of Council,

  I come again before you tonight not only repeat my heartfelt request that you draft a resolution to urge the officeholders of the 12^th and 18^th Congressional Districts to support H.Res.635, but to also back my case up with the first of many arguments in favor thereof.

 First, I want to reply to some of the comments made in response to my last attempt to urge your immediate action:

 Mrs. Kennedy and Mr. Rhodes expressed their shared beliefs that this council wasn’t the proper stage to urge such action, as well as starting a “citizen’s petition” in favor of my cause. Responding first to the remarks about a petition; as you should know, I did launch a petition that targeted citizens of Newark, and received at least 50 signatures in my favor.

 I will have you know, that I (am/have) creat(ing/ed) a petition which will target a much larger audience centered within the entire 12^th and 18^th Congressional Districts.

 On the other hand – regarding my choosing this council as a stage to demand action - you ask why, but I ask why not? As a private citizen, I can not speak before Congress or the General Assembly, unless I was invited by a member of either legislative body. However, the local government is the best arena for citizens to speak out against government actions or to demand action for any level, thereof.

 I’ve already laid out the facts for this council regarding the numerous other local level governments across the nation that have considered and passed resolutions demanding immediate congressional action. Have there been failures? Yes. Less than half of all the local level resolutions have been shot down, but at least there was an attempt to take action.

 Mr. Diebold – in a respective manner – told me to be aware of the fact that only the people have the answers. I know that, otherwise, this wouldn’t be a Republic. He also said that this issue really didn’t belong in this council because it was way too divisive of an issue, especially since it regards a matter that is mostly out of the hands of Local Government.

 Now, I want to let it be known that I have grown to respect Mr. Diebold for his kindness to me and my family, along with his kind words regarding my cause, but I respectfully disagree on his reasoning for not wanting to take part in this debate. This council seems to be reluctant to even consider my proposals because it is “far too divisive”, but we must all remember that not everything can be unanimous. Otherwise, this would be a dictatorship, not a Democratic-Republic.

 On second note, this issue isn’t as far-fetched as many of you think. I want you to use your imagination for a moment to draw out the following scenario:

 Imagine that you are a congressman, and you are getting numerous requests for action on a certain subject. On one hand, a single petition circulator has sent you a letter with an online petition enclosed. Within that petition, a few hundred or thousand of your constituents signed – again online – in support of this proposal. On the other hand, a city council or town hall has passed a resolution in favor of the same proposal urging your immediate support. Now, which do you take more seriously? The petition that was created online, and circulated by a lone activist to thousands of your constituents via email or numerous other forms of communication, or the local level resolution that was passed by a number of people that were elected to office by the people, just like you?

 Get my point? Moving on; first on my agenda in defending my case is the accusation I made regarding Mr. Bush’s violation of over 750 laws. Before George took the oval office, the so-called presidential signing statement was only used by presidents a combined total of under 700 times. That’s including most of the presidents in the 20^th Century.

 Even after – now Supreme Court Associate Justice - Samuel Alito wrote a legal memo -when he was in the Reagan Administration – that defended a President’s so-called inherent right to interpret laws that he/she was signing with a “signing statement”, Reagan, the First Bush and Clinton all chose to use vetoes instead of the statement to express any disagreement with the bill they were signing.

 George W. Bush has the record as the first occupant of the white house to withhold a veto as long as he did since Thomas Jefferson. His only veto was this past summer; otherwise - according to the Boston Globe – he has chosen to use the signing statement as a way to express his strong opposition to certain language in a bill’s provision and – in effect – changing the law by his own interpretation of how it should be enforced.

 By signing every bill that came across his desk – followed by a signing statement that laid out his desires of how the bill should become law – Bush has been able to strip Congress of its duty and authority to keep him in check by overriding a veto. Allow me to once again read from the United States Constitution:

 Article I, Section 1: “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”

 Article I, Section 7: “Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it….(It Goes on to say)… If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.”

 Article II, Section 1: “…Before (the President) enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

 And finally, Article VI: “This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding. - The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution…”

 What is so important about the preceding samples from the single most important document in this nation’s existence? First off, it gives sole law making power of the federal government to CONGRESS and Congress alone. Second of all, it states that if the occupant of the oval office should disagree with anything in a bill that has been passed by both houses of Congress then he should VETO it to allow Congress to reconsider the bill.

 Furthermore, it shows that as the head of state, he/she is bound by oath to uphold, protect and defend the Constitution and all laws and treaties that are protected by this document. Every law that is passed by Congress and signed by the President – or even passed by a veto override – is immediately the law of the land unless it contradicts the Constitution.

 There is NO EXCEPTION in the Constitution – and you can read it for yourself – that says “by the way, if he/she should disagree with a bill’s provision and doesn’t want a veto override, then they can just rule that provision as unconstitutional in a short statement.”

 Allow me to briefly share with you some of the provisions that Bush has chosen to override on his own:

 From the Boston Globe’s report on April 30^th;

 “Among the laws Bush said he can ignore are military rules and regulations, affirmative-action provisions, requirements that Congress be told about immigration services problems, ''whistle-blower" protections for nuclear regulatory officials, and safeguards against political interference in federally funded research….

 Bush…has repeatedly declared that he does not need to ''execute" a law he believes is unconstitutional.

 Former administration officials contend that just because Bush reserves the right to disobey a law does not mean he is not enforcing it: In many cases, he is simply asserting his belief that a certain requirement encroaches on presidential power.

 For the first five years of Bush's presidency, his legal claims attracted little attention in Congress or the media. Then, twice in recent months, Bush drew scrutiny after challenging new laws: a torture ban and a requirement that he give detailed reports to Congress about how he is using the Patriot Act.

 In his signing statements, Bush has repeatedly asserted that the Constitution gives him the right to ignore numerous sections of the bills -- sometimes including provisions that were the subject of negotiations with Congress in order to get lawmakers to pass the bill. He has appended such statements to more than one of every 10 bills he has signed.

 Many of the laws Bush said he can bypass -- including the torture ban -- involve the military.

 Bush says he can ignore any act of Congress that seeks to regulate the military. (Contrary to constitutional law)

 On at least four occasions while Bush has been president, Congress has passed laws forbidding US troops from engaging in combat in Colombia, where the US military is advising the government in its struggle against narcotics-funded Marxist rebels.

 After signing each bill, Bush declared in his signing statement that he did not have to obey any of the Colombia restrictions because he is commander in chief.

 Bush has also said he can bypass laws requiring him to tell Congress before diverting money from an authorized program in order to start a secret operation, such as the ''black sites" where suspected terrorists are secretly imprisoned.

 (On two occasions where Congress passed laws) forbidding the military from using intelligence that was not ''lawfully collected," including any information on Americans that was gathered in violation of the Fourth Amendment's protections against unreasonable searches. - On both occasions, Bush declared in signing statements that only he, as commander in chief, could decide whether such intelligence can be used by the military.”

 When President Clinton was in office, he used the “line item veto” to eliminate provisions of certain bills passed by the Republican Congress before he signed them into law. However, the Supreme Court would later rule that this power was unconstitutional because it gave far too much power to one branch of government. With no consistent system of checks and balances, a Democratic-Republic will fall into a dictatorship.

 The Supreme Court was right to strip Clinton of his line item veto, just as Bush is breaking the law every time he uses his “signing statement” to overrule a provision that was voted on and passed by concurring houses of Congress.

 In school, you learn the roles of each branch of government. The Legislative Branch makes the laws, the Executive Branch enforces the laws and the Judicial Branch interprets the laws. There is NO sharing of duties. Each branch is designed to keep the other two in check to protect the constitution, and the people from an overzealous government.

 If Bush is permitted to continue using the Signing Statement – as he has - without recourse, then there might as well be no Legislative Branch. The Congress will have no reason to exist, as the Executive Branch will have inherited the authority to do whatever it pleases as long as it fits their interpretation of constitutional law. In fact, Congress will have taken on the role as the lapdog of the Executive Branch with the chief role of doing the bidding of the Chief Executive or be silenced by the almighty “statement”.

 The American rule of law is the most important foundation which holds our rights in place, but if the Head of State, that has the rule of Chief Law Enforcer has no respect for the law, and makes the law as he goes, then the rule of law is no more.

 Before I close, let me quote Thomas Jefferson:

 “…rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’, because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.”

 Just ponder those words. Thank you."

 After the Council dealt with pending legislation, they would soon reply to my presentation:

Minority Leader/Councilman Rauch (D): Expressed that he still didn't think that the local government for Newark, Ohio was the proper stage for such a debate. He stated that although he felt taking on such a task would be "fun", the council is "nuts and bolts" for local issues only. This one is going to be difficult to convince, because he closed by saying that we should use the upcoming election as a way to send a message to BOOsh and possibly Congress. What if we DON'T regain control of Congress?

Majority Leader/Councilman Rhodes (R): Strongly agrees with Rauch.....how disappointing. After the meeting was adjourned, he approached me and gave advice for how to start a petition to put an initiative on the ballot. Like I'm going to start a new petition and wait a whole year until it could take effect, I want action now, nut 13 Months from now!!!

Councilwoman Kennedy (D): She said that she wanted to talk to me in private. Irene told me that she didn't understand exactly what it was I wanted the Council to do. She kept trying to get me to give this all up and merely use the opportunity to address council as a way of asking people in attendance to sing a new citizen's petition. She hinted that she thinks this is some sort of a publicity stunt...argh.  I have it planned to directly reply to that, that insulted me. She claimed that the only reason those other Local Governments only took the issue up because they were in "good areas". Then, in closing, Mrs. Kennedy did her best to get me to make a deal where I would bring in the petition and just ask people to sign. I agreed...to bring a petition in, not to shut up. I guess the most insulting part of this whole encounter was when she stated that "anything not in the Council's mandate CAN NOT BE DONE."

So, I decided to investigate the statement regarding mandated and "non-mandated" resolutions.

My Email to City Council President Marc Guthrie:

"After the meeting last night, Mrs. Kennedy privately expressed to me that if something isn't a part of the Council's mandate (like the resolution that I'm requesting), then it "can't be done". Those are her exact words. I was just wanting to confirm with you whether or not that was true.

Tonight's Conclusion

 I hope that I made one boy's dreams come true...

 My head is pounding, and I have my eye on the prize... just four days from today...
