Misunderstandings....
First off, let me address a few things that Steven said on his most recent Comments:

I never said that all Repugs were dishonest. There are a couple dozen in Congress that can do good. Actually there are quite a few that have voted against BOOsh on a number of occassions. However, most of the time, the vast majority of these men and women that proudly hold the title of "Republican" are afraid to go against their party's leadership when the time is right. Where were these cowards at when it came time to do their constitutional duties and keep the power of declaring war where it belongs...in Congress? Many Democrats also gave up this duty and I am equally pissed off at them. I didn't say that everything Repugs stand for is wrong...but let's look at what is wrong:
a) Right to Choose/Abortion: It's understandable to oppose the destruction of a fetus. Nobody honestly likes Abortions, but it is necessary to let women have this right especially for four major reasons: Poverty, Rape, Incest and to save a woman's life. The government has no business telling women when they can or can't be pregnant, just like they have no business telling us when we can have sex.
b) Taxes: Repugs seem to think that every economic problem can be solved with a tax cut (that always favor the rich overwhelmingly). Look at history and you will find that Repugs in 1929 - 1933 thought that Tax Cuts were the answer to save us from the Great Depression. THEY WERE DEAD WRONG!! Tax Cuts to the wealthiest do more damage to our economy and to the Budget of the government because revenue is taken away from the government and the poor usually get the shaft when the tax burden shifts.
c) Immigration: Repugs think that we have to approach illegal immigration with a policy that imprisons/kills anyone that breaks into our country. When - in fact - there are other avenues to solve this problem. As I have mentioned many times before, Fair Trade policies, and the strict enforcement of those policies is the true key to stop this madness.
d) Church and State: Just look at history and the Bible; It's never good for the State to run a church or vice-versa. It's not good for tax-payed officials to lead in prayer sessions when they are on the payroll, because it breaks down the barrier of Church and State. I'm getting tired of repeating this, but; If you want an example of a State-Run Church, LOOK AT THE "CHRISTIAN CHURCH" IN CHINA!! If you want an examply of any religion running a government; LOOK AT TALIBAN RULED AFGHANISTAN, OR IRAN, OR SAUDI ARABIA, OR ANY COUNTRY IN EUROPE DURING THE DARK AGES!!!
e) Military: It doesn't make sense to send people to war and then cut their benefits. Repugs are all gung-ho about warfare until it comes to providing our soldiers with adequate equipment and compensation after they serve in those wars. Granted, some Repugs have voted in favor of DEMOCRATIC RESOLUTIONS that improve or grant these necessary things to our brave men and women. However, for the most part, you'll find that Repugs more often vote for war and increasing spending on making new weapons than they vote for any bill that will increase pay, grant armor and other necessities.
f) War: Granted, World Wars One and Two, Korea, Vietnam, and the Mexican-American War were started by Democrats. I disagree with all wars, but Democrats have more often than not used them as a last resort. BOOsh, Reagan and Nixon are among those that abused their power. Just look into the following campaigns: Vietnam (which Democrat LBJ had started without true warrant because of bad advice, but you can also find that this man came to regret his lies and fought every day until he left office to end it; furthermore, I say look into this because Nixon made matters worse when he took over), Grenada, The Contras, Iraq, and Panama (with General Noriega that was once an ally to the first Bush).
g) Jobs: Repugs often think that Outsourcing of Manufacturing and other jobs is a good thing, but it's not. Outsourcing is another reason our economy is in trouble, and is a big reason that the average wages are actually on the decline. In addition to that is the Minimum Wage debate and the dumb-ass/ill-informed myth that any increase in it will cause chaos for businesses and damage our economy. Repugs have been spewing these lies since FDR first created the Minimum Wage standard and never has it been true.
That's just a short list of where they are wrong...

OK, I never said that there weren't corrupt Democrats. There are corrupted Democrats as well, but the fact is that these corrupt Dems are members of the Democratic Leadership Council and ARE basically Repugs in Dems clothing. If that offends you, then I guess tough luck, because the truth often offends. The DLC was created and is ran by some "former" Repugs that suddenly decided we needed to abandon the values that we have stood up for since our party was created in favor of half-embracing the beliefs of the right wing. All this was in the wake of Reagan's re-election victory in the 1984 election. I never TURN MY HEAD to Democratic Scandals. It isn't my fault that Repugs are more scandal clad than Democrats. Hell, it's those dumb-ass Repugs that have become tied with Jack Abramoff (a man that NOT ONE Democrat has dealt with), Thomas Noe (a man here in Ohio that stole tax-dollars from the Bureau of Worker's Compensation to send it to various Repug campaigns including BOOsh's), Enron, Halliburton, and Former Congress "Duke" Cunningham.
I condemn Democrats on their evil doings as well. For instance, I regularly condemn Hillary Clinton for her consistent compromises with BOOsh that have done more damage to our liberties (as well as her partnership and funding from Fox Owner Rupert Murdoch). I condemn the weak Democratic Leaders in Congress for not consistently standing up to the Dictator and his cronies all the time. I condemn Bill Clinton for two laws that he had passed as President (The laws the created NAFTA and the WTO, which are partially responsible for outsourcing due to loopholes in those laws). I often complain to people at work and even at my local democratic party for the weakness of these so-called Democrats, so don't say that I turn my head to their incompetence.
Some of our so-called Democratic Leaders are responsible for allowing Repugs to demonize us and take control of the argument, this could have been prevented, but not enough of true Democrats stood up when the time was right. Hell, I condemn EVERY DEMOCRAT in the Senate for not standing up when BOOsh stole the 2000 Election and all but one Democrat in the Senate for ignoring the 2004 stolen election.

Once again, I agree that everyone has the potential of being evil, because we are all born in sin. However, the evil that I complain about on here regards government accountability and incompetence.

Yet again, a Murrey basically call me a Hypocrite without foundation. I'm not telling him that he can't come to my site and complain about politics being "evil"...he's free to do so if he wants to, because I'll just keep rebutting it. What I trying to get across is that it is pointless to come to a political blogsite to just make a blanket statement that "no matter what" all politics are "evil". It is equal to walking into a Church to just yell at the preacher and say "well, I don't care what you say, because God doesn't exist anyway". Making an ill-informed statement in an environment where it is obviously going to start an argument is just a waste of time. The point is that if you hate all politics, then avoid going to political sites. Once again, I'm not saying that he can't come here and say what he wants, it's just a waste of both our time.
Why must you not trust Repugs being in Control?
Every American needs to seriously think about the fact that King George BOOshwhacker and Darth Cheney have repeatedly broken federal laws, international laws and have severely overstepped their constitutional boundaries. Every American that truthfully cares about the survival of our Nation, Democracy, and our fellow citizens should sign on to any and all petitions that demand the Impeachment, Removal and Imprisonment of these criminals!!!
There are a number of lawsuits that have been filed to halt the illegal spy program, but BOOsh and them have opted to invoke Secrecy Privilege; citing that disclosure of how their program is made legal can “seriously jeopardize” national security. Yeah right, shut the hell up already!!! The fact is that these bastards are breaking the law and want the courts to allow it because they have this insane interpretation of far-reaching executive authority to defend the nation against a never-ending vague threat!!
The Repug House Speaker, Dennis Hastert is under investigation for his ties to Jack Abramoff; mostly involving a letter that he wrote to the Interior Secretary that requested the blocking of a casino that would’ve competed with casinos that were linked to Abramoff. Hastert also accepted political bribes amounting to ½ million dollars to kill a bill that designated Turkey’s slaughter of Armenians as a genocide. I recently signed a petition that called for clean, public funded elections; it sounds like an awesome idea to me.
Repugs in the Ohio General Assembly are doing everything they can to silence us Liberals or any other for of dissent. There is an ongoing debate over whether or not there should be a law that prevents teachers/professors from “introducing controversial subjects and other unrelated subject matter in the classroom”. I agree that I don’t really want any teacher to come into a classroom and start pounding a one-sided argument into the minds of their pupils. However, discussion is healthy. If a teacher wishes to introduce a controversial issue in a class merely for the purpose of an educational experience of debate; I see NO problem with that. The only issue that should be left out of tax-funded classrooms is religion (for reasons that I have mentioned on here before).
The FBI has been asking city workers to spy on their City Government and report the information that they gain to the Bureau. One problem here is that the FBI justifies this by saying that they must keep an eye out constantly for potential crimes. Everyone is technically a potential criminal, so does that mean that we are all to be under constant surveillance from BOOsh’s Gestapo? The FBI’s actions here are indeed unconstitutional (just like the NSA’s actions.) Sounds all too similar to Stalin’s policies of keeping a paranoid close eye on all of his subordinates. Remove these criminals at once!!
Fascism is in the air; BOOsh has broken so many laws that it isn’t funny, but one of those broken laws is the First Amendment guarantee of a Free Press. Since he stole our white house in 2000, and was coronated on January 20th, 2001; BOOsh has taken pride in paying the media to spread pro-government propaganda (much like how the Soviet Union and China always used tax dollars to spread news that favored their policies). BOOsh’s Regime has sent “news” videos without any requirement to tell where this information came from. This is a clear violation of federal law and we need our Congress to stop it now and hold the B.I.C. accountable for his violations!!
Repug in Demo-clothing, Joe Lieberman is using Repug tricks in his re-election bid by basically claiming to be holier than his Primary opponent Ned Lamont. I’m watching this battle and hoping with all my heart that LIEberman loses and we finally get rid of this DINO once and for all. We must extract the DLC from our ranks in Congress, or the trip towards an American Fascist Society will soon be complete with no return.
The movement to create an environment of paranoia and brutality is gaining some ground. It appears that the NRA’s beloved “shoot first” laws have been successful in a number of states, with more considering introducing the measure. One major problem with all of this is that Repugs are removing any requirement that people flee an attacker before resorting to violence. If these nuts have their way, people will be permitted to conceal a weapon wherever they go, even in Church, and will be allowed to discharge that weapon in any case where they feel “threatened”. Do you want someone that has a history of being paranoid having this “right”? This is an open door to legalize murder!!! What if a Skinhead is permitted to carry a weapon on him and runs into a black man (or any other minority) and suddenly – based on their twisted beliefs – feels “threatened” and guns the “potential attacker” down? Would this make our society more peaceful or will it only add to the insanity?!! Use your brain and think about it, because the latter is the horrifying fact!!
On a campus where holding hands with a member of the opposite sex is prohibited unless both of you are walking, and where every student is required to sign an agreement that they literally believe every word of the Bible (I believe that every word of the bible is true whether it is literal or symbolic), the seeds for our modern day Nazi-youth have been planted. Most of these students were home-schooled before entering this institution and then they go to work for Repugs in government. Whether it’s directly for the Dictator or members of Congress, the effort is to strongly encourage a change in the direction of our nation. These students are blatantly being taught to mix religion with politics for personal gain, and I don’t trust it one bit. The Bible and our Constitution prohibit the mixing of church and state because of the dangers that such a mixture poses to society and civil liberties. Apparently, only one out of hundreds of these students actually works as an intern for a Democrat; while the BOOsh Regime is littered with their presence. Do me a favor…hell, do our nation a favor and do some honest, in-depth research into how Germany came to be ran by the National Socialists (Nazis); it is way too similar to what we are witnessing today!!
Former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge has admitted that the overwhelming majority of the raised terror level were for political reasons and were against his own advice. BOOsh forcefully encouraged Ridge to raise the threat level with the intentions of keeping us Americans in a cradle position. His threat level hasn’t been risen more than twice since the “Election” in 2004…do you know why? It’s because BOOsh no longer has to prove that he’s the “strong and decisive” leader as opposed to another individual running to replace him. There’s no longer a reason for BOOsh to regularly increase the threat level; in light of the fact that international acts of terror are much higher now than they were before his “war” began. Impeach this Bastard now!!
This is too familiar to ignore. Iran has recently been calling for bilateral talks with BOOsh and Company to discuss this nuclear issue, but – as they have done in the past – any movement of diplomacy that could avoid war is being ignored. BOOsh did this to Afghanistan, did it to Iraq (even briefly with North Korea like an imbecile), and now Iran. Does anyone else see the childish nature of this? Doesn’t anyone else notice the similarities?
In the Reauthorized Patriot Act, there is a section of this renewed law that states the following in Section 605: “There is hereby created and established a permanent police force, to be known as the 'United States Secret Service Uniformed Division.” Do you happen to know what this means? As of BOOsh’s signature earlier this year; the duties of the Secret Service have now been extended to police all Americans. A federal police force that is much like the Nazi Gestapo or SS (remember that the SS kept the regular military in check, who’s to say that this won’t be the purpose of the Secret Service with regards to our local police?). If this doesn’t make you concerned as a liberty-loving American then I question your patriotism. Our founding fathers were adamantly opposed to a Centralized Federal Government because of the possibility that it could suppress the local and state governments as well as have no barriers in oppressing the citizens. Rise up and “mosh” already!! (Previous statement was not intended to encourage anyone to listen to rock music…lol)
China is mobilizing for some conflict that must not be too far off in the future. Apparently these guys are fortifying their long range arsenal towards the East (within reach of the great American Empire), and are looking into adding more weapons to improve and modernize their arsenal. It is estimated by the Pentagon that China is “in the best position to challenge America militarily”. A war could erupt over the Taiwan debate (which we are – by law – obligated to protect Taiwan if China ever makes a military move against them), and there are some in the Chinese military that are contemplating the elimination of their “no first use” of nuclear weapons policy. (A policy that prohibits China from using nukes unless they are first struck with nuclear weapons or with an attack that is tantamount to a nuclear strike). China is exploring options of upgrading their weapons to better fight us in a war…all I have to say is; BOOsh needs to go now, because his ignorant rhetoric regarding Taiwan, the North Korean crisis and the “war on terrorism” is making our world more and more hostile every time he opens his mouth. IMPEACH!!!

With all of this madness, is there any question as to why I can't stand Repugs? Shouldn't be. Well, off to another week of watching the world plunge into madness as BOOsh takes us closer and closer to seeing America complete its transition into a Fascist Authoritarian Dictatorship!!
