• Remember the (5th, 6th and) Seventh of November!!

  My Friends, the day is almost upon us...and things are really picking up!!

   Let me first talk about the speech before City Council on the 16th of October, starting with the speech that I gave (in original context):

  "My reasoning for being here should be quite obvious.

    I’m here with the ambition of changing the course of events that are laid out before us on the national scale. I’m not here for any personal publicity stunt, because I could care les if anyone ever knows my name. Recognition is insignificant next to the importance of upholding and protecting the rule of law.

   

   The only publicity I seek is for my cause. The only recognition sought is for the issue at hand. My goal is to increase awareness of the crimes that have been committed by the officeholders of the Federal Executive Branch, and to demand action to hold those criminals accountable.

   

   Some think that I should start a petition to get an initiative on the ballot, but that wouldn’t take effect until November of next year, and the severity of this matter demands immediate action. Others have advised me to wait until November 7^th to send a message to Congress – via my vote. What happens if Democrats don’t take Congress back? Does our government then do nothing because of partisan politics? Regardless of whether the Democrats or Republicans control Congress within the next couple months, I’m simply requesting that this council send a clear message to our Representatives in the House.

   

   I’ve been told that if something isn’t mandated then this Council is “not able” to take action. This is – as I have learned – untrue, because there is no law or rules prohibiting the resolution that I seek. This body has often passed resolutions that were not part of some mandate. Furthermore, not every piece of legislation passed by this Council has been popular with the overall population, so the excuse of not wanting to pass a resolution in an unfriendly political environment isn’t very credible either.

   

   It has been said that the mere thought of debating this issue would be “fun”, but isn’t proper for this arena, because of the need to focus on city issues; however, I am not asking you to have fun, I’m asking you to take a stand, a serious one.

   

   I understand that political divisiveness is a road block to engaging this matter, but partisan politics has already played a part, in your in action. The Republicans wish not to act on the matter simply because the accused is a member of their own party. The Democrats don’t act to resist the urge to look too radical and “out of touch”. What is so out of touch about this? What is there to fear about asking for an investigation that may lead to impeachment?

   

   If Impeachment was so out of touch, then why is the word used so much in our Constitution? Why did our founding fathers make it a point to inform the public in both present and future of this congressional duty to keep the other two branches in check, by holding them to account? What’s the worst that could happen for the Republicans? If Bush is innocent of the crimes that he has been accused of committing, then a thorough investigation – led by a bi-partisan select committee – will not seek impeachment proceedings. Is it a fear of what such an investigation will unveil?

   

   I know that this body has no obligation to act. However, there is an old saying: “When something is wrong, those who have the ability to do something have the responsibility to do something.” The responsibility is not mandated, but it is a patriotic obligation to stand and demand accountability.

   

   In fact, since the first time I brought this issue before you, two more local governments have taken this issue up; with an approved referendum by the City Council in Montpelier, Vermont and an upcoming vote on the endorsement of H.Res.635 by the Ulster County Legislature in New York.

   

   I mean no disrespect towards this council, nor do I seek to demean any member within. It is not my goal to diminish the patriotic image of my local government. I’m simply begging that you call for action.

   

   I will keep making my case every meeting as I continue to long for such action. It is my privilege to humiliate myself in defense of liberty. So, as I close, I welcome anyone to approach me after the meeting in order to sign my petition that I’ll send to the Congressional Officeholders of Ohio’s 12^th and 18^th Districts.

   After all legislation was dealt with, I received only a few replies...

   

  Councilman/Minority Leader William Rauch (D): He stated that he "loves" responding to me and felt that taking on this issue would be "fun" - from his perspective - but still doesn't belong in this forum. He even remarked on how an ex-member of council recently scoured him for criticizing BOOsh, claiming that the post of "president" is appointed by God. What the?

   

  Councilman/Majority Leader David Rhodes (R): He really didn't have any response to my comments but merely stated that the council should return to "local business" following the election. He was obviously irritated...lol...

   

  Councilman Don Ellington (R): Spoke breifly but mocked Rauch and I saying simply in conclusion of his comments "God Bless the President and Go Bucks!!" This man is definitely a pompous ass!!

   

   When the meeting was adjourned, Councilmembers Rauch and Kennedy (Ds) approached me and requested the petition to sign it. Council President Guthrie (D) then asked me to send him the petition's text via email so that he could read it before signing. The following was the email I sent to President Guthrie:

   

  "Attached is the petition text; I'm also writing to let you know that I've been thinking really hard about what I am trying to get the council to do. I can honestly say that I wasn't feeling very good yesterday and was feeling the pain of a severe headache during the last hour of the meeting.

   

  I've been praying a lot about this and have reluctantly concluded that I am seemingly going nowhere with this. I'm not giving up on encouraging our congressmen/congresswoman (which ever it should be) to support or co-sponsor H.Res.635, but I am going to cut short my quest to urge Council to take action on the matter. I really was planning to give at least 20 different speeches on the matter, but am convinced that I could actually be wasting my time beating a dead horse rather than focusing all of my energy on directing all that pressure on our elected officials in the House and Senate.

   

  I do plan on giving one last "speech" on the matter come the next meeting after the Election (when will that be again?), and it will be a little detailed, as I plan on targeting about seven key subjects that I believe are unavoidable. The effort will be to make my final case and to leave the decision up to council regarding whether or not they think the matter is worthwhile. I'll still be coming to every council meeting that I can, because I do desire to be a public official one day, but I believe in my heart that my activism in this movement - at least regarding council - has run its course."

   

   That's right, you read correctly, one more speech and then I'm done with this phase of the Impeachment movement. It has become my primary goal to harass the Congressmen of the 12th and 18th Districts instead, and I won't stop until something takes place!!

   

   (On to other news)

   

   Nobel Prize winning economists – alongside hundreds of their intellectual peers – are now calling on the Repug Controlled Congress to increase the minimum wage. After the evil cheap trick that those bastards pulled over the summer – attaching a wage increase proposal to a huge Estate Tax cut for the richest among us – I don’t just them to ever make real moves for improvement on this matter. They’ll just continue to attach provision to proposed resolutions in order to kill it and use their so-called vote for said resolution to trick uneducated voters into thinking that they tried to do something. That simple.

   

   There is a growing feeling of pessimism within the ranks of the Repug leadership. Their spending strategy in the campaigns this year has apparently been revised as they are now preparing to siphon funds from “un-winnable races” to other “endangered candidates”.  Hell, it has even been reported that the Repugs here in Ohio have given up on Senator Mike Dewine not only contemplating shipping some of his funds to other candidates, but also refusing to help Dewine depict an image of credibility. I may be angry with Sherrod Brown (the Democratic Candidate for Senate) but the Columbus Dispatch recently disclosed that Dewine’s attack ads on Brown’s tax stance is full of falsehoods, and it is just hilarious to see how pathetic the Repugs are, running away every time one of their guys are caught red-handed!! LMAO

   

   If Christians in this country believe that the BOOsh Regime cares for them, guess again. It has been revealed that some aides within the regime viewed evangelical supporters as “nuts”. That’s right; these people mock the strongest supporter of their boss and his policies. They have no respect for you or your strongly held beliefs, instead they purposely use these beliefs against you by spreading propaganda against their political opponents in order to empower their political agenda.

   

   Many within the regime are concerned with BOOsh’s apparent lack of plans if Democrats retake congress next month. Indeed, the Dictator will become inept as soon as the Democrats are all sworn in on January should they win on the 7^th. Should this surprise any of you? Then again, with dictatorial control over the Executive branch alongside his connections within the right-wing Supreme Court, who needs Congress? That’s more than likely the way BOOsh views this issue, and is yet another reason why he must be removed!

   

   It is so evident that the Repug Propaganda machine – aka the Mainstream Media – is scared of another Democrat Ran Government. Even going as far as to say that a Democratic takeover would lead to the breakup of the Union and asking Democratic voters to stay home “for the sake of the nation” on Election Day!! Hell, others in their ranks claim that the Terrorists have “voted Democrat”; the evidence is apparently shown by their supposed attempts to affect the election outcome and urge the American populace to vote in “cut and runners”!! Why all of this rhetoric? Mostly because their boys in Congress, the White House, Supreme Court and everywhere else that PNAC has influence will finally be held to account for their crimes against this great nation, and the international community!! Norah O’Donnell of NBC tried to get a Democratic Congresswoman make a promise:

   

  “Can you promise then that when Democrats–if they retake the House of Representatives and Senate will not issue tens or hundreds of subpoenas to the White House when it comes to Katrina, Iraq and a number of other issues and essentially make the President's final two years in office a living hell if you will and mean that nothing gets done in Washington?” Damn straight the Democrats will make life a living hell for Repug Criminals, or they better!! Nothing getting done in the Capital? What the hell do you call these last six years? Repugs have either stripped rights away from the people, sent our soldiers to die, cut taxes for the rich, or have cut benefits for the poor, all the while causing a major standoff every time a small political squabble occurred. Repugs have blocked over 70% of all Democratic Proposals in Congress since BOOsh stole our White house, do you call that a Congress that gets the job done in the best interest of the people? HELL NO!!

   

   Modern-Nazi Propagandist Neal Boortz has come lashing out at Muslims all over the world….from his show:

   

  “You know what? Sooner or later, you really start to get the idea that (Islam) is not a very pleasant religion. Sooner or later, you really start to get the idea that these people are violent. - Islam …is a deadly virus that is spreading throughout Europe and the Western world, and it is going to completely and totally change the way we live our lives in this country. And we're going to wait …far too long to develop a vaccine to find a way to fight this. - I truly consider Islam, on a worldwide basis, to be a creeping mold infestation that if we are not alert, we will get to the point -- we will get to the point that it is just overpowering and overtaking, and we're going to have to take unbelievably drastic measures to deal with it just to save the very structure of our society. - America's going to have a tough time surviving in anything close to its present form after America falls …to the Muslim creeping virus.”

   

   After reading those words, you have to wonder what kind of nutcases actually listen to this guy?!! Are these really the kind of people that make up the powerhouse that is the Repug “base”? I pray not. Just research some history one the demonizing of the Jewish population in Germany and how the Nazis viewed them as a “creeping virus” that needed a “vaccine”, what was that “vaccine”? A little thing called Concentration Camps where that “virus” was gassed into extermination!! Is this the America we want?!!

   

   Caught up in the midst of BOOsh’s illegal and indefinite detention of foreign nationals even the possible detention of Americans (recently “vindicated” by the signing of the unconstitutional and internationally illegal War Commissions Act) with no official charges are a number of innocent victims, all because they were labeled as an “enemy combatant” or other “suspected terrorist” label. One of these innocents is a man that was captured by our forces only after he was released from his previous captors; the Taliban and Al-Qaeda!! That’s correct, this guy was captured by the Taliban, taken to a terrorist training camp, tortured, and then forced to say to things on camera: claim that he was a spy for the U.S., and then that he would promise to wage jihad against them!! Talk about Irony and tragic all in one…

   

   It should be very evident to everyone by now that the Dictator isn’t, and it should most definitely be noticeable that when this “man” claims to “listen to (his) Generals” regarding the war; he’s very disconnected from reality. The truth is that our generals have made a number of statements over the years relating to the pending civil war, troop levels as well as other needs and concerns. None of what they seem to say ever makes a difference to the BIC, and that’s one of the many reasons that this guy should’ve never been in that office!!

   

   We’ve heard so much regarding our government’s obsession with monitoring any and all peaceful acts of protest against the war, but every time I hear more about this crap, it is always just as chilling. The military, FBI and the Department of Homeland Security have an incredibly large database of these protests labeling them as “suspicious activity”. That’s right, the first amendment right to petition our government and to speak freely is “suspicious” when it regards to our opposition to war, especially an illegal war. After recently having purchased and watched “V for Vendetta” (WHICH I STRONGLY RECOMMEND); the similarities between reality and the film’s storyline are just spine chilling. Fascism is indeed the ideology of this government and its policies, and all Americans need to speak out and demand action to hold criminals within the government accountable!!

   

   Isn’t it incredible to know that Repug pundits are actually advocating unilateral action against NORTH KOREA (and Iran)?!! Haven’t we had enough of these imperial conquests? Brit Hume was quoted as saying (regarding action against the DPRK): “If the U.N. itself isn't willing to do this then the United State with willing allies could do it… or the United States could do it by itself — which, I think, is probably the best hope.” Furthermore, Fox News has implied that the recent Nuke Test by the DPRK could be “good news” to distract attention from the Foley scandal. Not one of these extremist right wingers cares about this nation or our liberties!!

   

   BOOsh has apparently signed on to some statement that declares outer space as an extended part of the American Empire. In the statement, he said the following: “The United States is committed to the exploration and use of outer space by all nations for peaceful purposes, and for the benefit of all humanity. Consistent with this principle, 'peaceful purposes' allow US defence and intelligence-related activities in pursuit of national interests.” Basically, the core message in this released government statement is that the entire world is ok to use space for “peace”, but the American Imperial Police Force “must/should” use it in order to defend the empire and the world!!

  Tonight's Conclusion

   Between all the scandals, weapons in space, nuke tests and proposals to commit mass genocide, I really found myself inspired by the movie "V for Vendetta". I know it's been out for a little while now, but I do strongly recommend this film. It is awesome from beginning to end. More on the impeachment movement as the countdown continues for my Final Speech!!
