   As promised, here is the Update on the Iraq War....

   Ahead of the Iraqi Election on December 15^th; the Iraqi Government announced that they were closing their borders to prevent any disruption to the vote…wait a sec…why can’t they do that more often? I understand that closing the borders permanently would require more time and dedication but this is one vital step to preventing foreigners from joining the Insurgency (which is a mostly – by large margin – Iraqi movement). Either way, this was an honest question from myself to the Military and/or the Iraqi Government; why not close the borders until Iraq is officially stabilized?

  
  

   As early as 2002; the French Government – at the request of the CIA – had investigated the claim of the suspected Niger weapons sale to Saddam. Long before BOOsh had cited that claim in his 2003 State of the Union Address - and even longer before Joseph Wilson unveiled that the Niger Uranium sale was false - the French had notified them that this claim was unfounded had notified our government.

  
  

   BOOsh finally told the American people that around 30,000 (at the very least) Iraqis have been killed by our war efforts in addition to the relentless insurgent attacks. He highlighted that he believes that the Iraq War has reduced the terrorist threat: “I think it's been reduced. I don't think we're safe. What'll really give me confidence to say that we're safe is when I can tell the American people we've got the capacity to know exactly where the enemy is moving.” So, Mr. BOOsh, until you have that ability to tell us where the ghoulish terrorists are and when they plan to strike next; you will withhold the formal declaration of our safety? Fear works, doesn’t it? … Well, as my favorite President in history once said: Franklin Delano Roosevelt: “We have nothing to fear but fear itself”, no words could’ve rang more clearly than his in our present time.

  
  

   There is a controversy right now over the fact that a number of our soldiers that have been killed in Iraq have been brought home as freight in commercial airliners. These men and women have been shipped to their families as cargo alongside suitcases and other personal belongings. This is a DISGRACE!! One family that was horrified by this was able to get the help of Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer to ensure that their only son would have a proper return home. Is this how our government repays the sacrifice of our beloved?!! We can supply cuts to social programs, and huge tax cuts to the rich, but WE CAN’T ARRANGE an honorable return for our soldiers!! Shame…

  
  

   We recently passed the 1,000^th day of this brutal and rather odd war; which has no end in sight, and many Christian Peace Activists are very much involved in trying to resolve this conflict with love and not hate. Many Repugs at Neo-Con Blogsites say this about these inspirational people: “I don't feel the slightest bit sorry for a bunch of hand-wringing liberals wandering into a war zone.” Others label these activists as “cowards”, but - according to an Air Force Colonel – these activists “are awfully brave people.” Personally, I’m proud to call them fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and only wish that I had the guts that they do.

  
  

   Another secret prison has been discovered in Iraq. It appears that the Shiite ran Iraqi Government has adopted the combined policies of their new ally Iran and Ho Chi Minh-era Vietnam. Great job, Mr. BOOsh!!!

  
  

   In one of BOOsh’s speeches to rebuild support for his war; BOOsh lied about Saddam’s cooperation or lack thereof in the months preceding the invasion. On the 12^th of this month; BOOsh claimed that Saddam refused to disclose or disarm, and that justified the invasion. This was wrong of course (and according to the report that I linked; it isn’t the first time that he has used this lie), because Saddam to – in fact – disarm. He disarmed as early as 1991; following the Persian Gulf War. Then, he disclosed all the available information that his government had, including the illegal Al-Samoud missiles. BOOsh’s claims that Saddam wouldn’t let inspectors in (a claim that he made in the summer of 2003) was an obvious lie. We all watched as the U.N. Weapons Inspectors began their inspections, but were unable to complete their mission because of the fact that BOOsh announced his plans to invade anyway just five months after U.N. Resolution 1441 (which forced Saddam to let inspectors in) was passed!!

  
  

   There are some men and women that have fought and died for this country without citizenship. There is currently Democratic-Sponsored Legislation to clear this process up. Personally, I feel that once a non-citizen goes through boot camp and is deployed abroad to serve this country; they should automatically earn that citizenship as a reward for their bravery. Why? To go overseas for a country that you don’t belong to is a huge sacrifice, and I believe that it is a terrible disservice to make these men and women risk death before reaching that goal that they so desire. So, in the interest of fairness. These brave souls should be granted citizenship the second that they are deployed as an American Soldier; just in case they are killed upon arrival. Our government owes them that much!!!

  
  

   A soldier wrote Christmas cards to his beloved family, but died in Iraq the day after they received the gift. I want to pray that each and every one of us do our best to END THIS WAR and bring these men and women home to their families as soon as possible; so no more men, women and children will lose their loved ones in this horrible conflict.

  
  

   Sunnis vowed to vote in the December 15^th Elections to thwart the Shiites from solidifying their overwhelming dominance of the Iraqi Government. Although they are against a great opposition - as Shiites make up over half the population of the country – these people are determined to not ignore a chance at attempting to stop the impending theological rule of the Iranian-like Shiites in Iraq.

  
  

   Another FLIP-FLOP…our Government has switched positions from attempting to de-Baathisize the Iraqi Government to actually having encouraged members of the Baath party to run in the elections that took place on the 15^th!! Wait, was one of BOOsh’s primary goals to exterminate the Baathist influence altogether in the first place?! Now they are flipping around and asking for Baathist with no “blood on their hands” to run for office!! Many Shiites became furious when the American Military began encouraging Saddam’s former allies to run for office, and this is supposed to “unite Iraq”?!! HA !!

  
  

   According to a selection of polls that were conducted by CNN following the series of Pro-Iraq War Speeches that BOOsh gave, a majority of the American Public still believe that our glorious Dictator is still full of Scheisse!! On December 15^th, Italy announced that they were withdrawing 300 of their soldiers from the warfront by the end of January 2006. It seems that our allies have a plan for withdrawal, where’s ours? A report shows that our government is holding five foreign journalists in custody at Guantanamo Bay, without any charges whatsoever! Is this the message that we are supposed to send to the rest of the world?!!

  
  

   BOOsh takes responsibility for the invasion and remarks that there was faulty intelligence that he “regrets”. He then reaffirmed the fact that he would’ve still made the decision to invade even with what he “knows now” (Of course the Bastard/Coward in Chief had claimed that we were entering the conflict reluctantly in March 2003; based on the assertion that Saddam had WMDs). Hmmm, he ALREADY KNEW that the intelligence was faulty as I have cited many times by now. He is a liar and a murderer!! The fact is that Saddam wasn’t a threat, and if he would’ve tried to get U.N. approval to invade on the premise that “Saddam is a Threat”, the U.N. would’ve unanimously opposed his war, and he KNEW that then, that’s why he and his cabal used the “threat” of WMDs and al-Qaeda ties to gain support for the war!!

  
  

   The Pentagon is planning on spending over 300 Million of our tax dollars to boost our image with propaganda in foreign media, alongside “pro-American” T-Shirts and Bumper Stickers!! This isn’t just in Iraq, but throughout the world. They are even planning on “spreading the positive message” to our allies and other countries within the Middle East. Yet again, I stress that they can cut funds to programs that help the less fortunate people of our country, but they can’t withhold the temptation to waste our tax dollars on a campaign to try and “improve” our global image…fools.

  
  

   Repugs used their political pranks to force the Democrats to either “support success” in Iraq or “oppose” it. The vague explanation of victory in the bill was a cheap trick to try and get the Democrats to turn their backs on the cause to create a timetable for withdrawal. When the Democrats tried to promote an alternative bill which simply congratulated the Iraqis on their progress; the Repugs shot it down in favor of their obvious political ploy. I HATE REPOOPLICANS!!

  
  

   It has been unveiled that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was captured by Iraqi forces in 2004. However, because of the fact that he wasn’t armed and didn’t seem like the person that they were looking for; THEY RELEASED HIM!! Oh, well that’s just great…they release the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq because he “wasn’t armed”…hmmm, but they don’t hesitate to arrest and hold regular rounded-up civilians whom aren’t armed…confusing eh? Makes you wonder if they would’ve released bin-Laden under the same circumstances!! Judging this revelation; I can already see that this war is going to be around for a while longer…Dr. Germ and Mrs. Anthrax have been released from jail in Iraq, among other former-Baath Party high level members. Still, why do they release these very important people while refusing to release the civilians whom haven’t even received charges yet???!!!

  
  

   A Congressional Report has stated that BOOsh – in fact – had more “intelligence” than Congress on the information about the threat posed by Saddam’s Iraq. An investigation is still in the works to discover exactly how much more BOOsh knew. BOOsh lied, and thousands of people have died as a result. There were no weapons and our Congress FAILED to prevent this illegal and immoral war from taking place!!

  
  

   Hillary Clinton - Our 42^nd President’s worse half – has suggested that Cheney go to Iraq and tour the nation to see what is transpiring over there. Clinton has been to the war torn nation twice and has been a “critic” (when it’s convenient) of BOOsh’s handling of the war. I’m sorry, but I just can’t bring myself to smiling when I hear Hillary’s name anymore. She has disappointed me so much.

  
  

   BOOsh attempted to soothe the fears of failure in the war. He pressed for his opposition to not “give up on this fight for freedom”. He stated that he believes that we are “winning the war” and that this was the right decision. Mr. BOOsh, you are so full of scheisse that it isn’t funny. You honestly believe that we are winning this thing? Where in the blue hell is your proof?!! You say that killing terrorists doesn’t create more terrorists, and that ignoring them is what allows them to grow; explain this: In the past four years since your “crusade” began, the various terrorist groups have pretty much tripled in their numbers. More and more people are joining the Iraqi Insurgency alone as more and more of their comrades die in your “war”. What about bin-Laden? You’ve been ignoring him – except when it’s convenient to push your policies –, so what’s your excuse there?? Since when have we that oppose given up on the fight for freedom?!! We have always fought for freedom!!! Freedom of speech, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Religion, Freedom in our Civil Rights, Freedom from the violation of our privacy and FREEDOM FROM YOUR WAR!!! This war was never about fighting for our FREEDOM, because IRAQ NEVER THREATENED IT!! Case and point, you lying f**king scumbag!!

  
  

   BOOsh vaguely gives any examples to back up his assertion that we are winning the war in Iraq. Of course, by giving a shoddy explanation for the “progress” in the war; he is hoping that we will all assume that victory is right around the corner. This is not the case.

  
  

   Bolivia’s new President-elect has proclaimed that BOOsh is the only global terrorist that he recognizes. Citing the War in Iraq as a part of BOOsh’s State Terrorism; the Bolivian leader condemned the actions of the BOOsh regime. As it turns out, this newly elected leader is an ally to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Cuban President Fidel Castro. It seems that BOOsh’s actions – alongside his allies in the entire GOP – are encouraging our neighbors to the south to align with Castro. Could Extremist Right Wing policies be the push that was needed to bring about wide-spread South American Communism?!! Damn, you are good BOOsh!!

  
  

   BOOsh Regime officials continue their efforts to try and discredit any movement towards setting a timetable for withdrawal; claiming that we haven’t stated exactly how a withdrawal with improve the situation in the war torn nation. The Asshat Stephen Hadley claimed that the elections in Iraq will inspire Iranians to do the same. I personally question the latter cause it’s nothing more than a dream, and I wish it would be true, but it is a dream. As for our solution to the problem; our presence in Iraq is basically encouraging the insurgency to grow. They WANT US OUT!! Overwhelmingly!! We want out!! I personally dream of an immediate withdrawal, but that would be a mistake. We need a phased withdrawal, plain and simple. The day we leave that country, the Iraqi people will begin to realize that the Insurgency has no reason for rising. The only way they could have any justification is if the Sunnis and Shiites fought in a brutal Civil War. I IMPLORE OUR CONGRESSMAN; SUPPORT A PHASED WITHDRAWAL NOW!!!
