"Congress failed the people in the 1980s. They refused to impeach and remove the dictatorial predecessor, Reagan for his disregard of the rule of law. They failed to counter this systematic seizure of unlimited power by not acting on these warning signs.

 They failed to adequately challenge this troubling expansion of executive authority, and in doing so has enabled the very fascist autocracy that looms at the end of this one way tunnel towards destruction.

 They - in failing to acknowledge and uphold their oaths and affirmations of office - have set the stage for the implementation of martial law and unchecked authoritarian rule. One may feel tempted to inquire whether impeachment can even save us now? I still must cling to that hope.

 We must demand answers from Congress and not relent in our passionate tenacity. We must remain resolute in demanding the immediate action from our government. DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!!

 Warn our elect of the repercussions that face them should they not act now. Seriously consider the impact and stances held by our presidential candidates in this matter of imperative importance.

 Don't toy around with these people any longer. I for one will harass my Congressman's office on a daily basis; as well as both of my Senators. So to will I begin harass the campaign headquarters and congressional offices of all those running for President.

 We MUST stop settling for electability and demand credible, reliable and viable representation!! Our Constitution must not be sacrificed for ANY purpose. It is time for the complacency of Congress - regardless of its political leniency - to meet it's demise.

 If they do NOT support impeachment, they are complicit and an enabler in the crimes committed by these anti-american Fascists!! There must not be any acceptable excuse for inaction...PERIOD!"

 The BOOsh Regime is going out of its way to prevent children from receiving the medical coverage they need. Why? So “private coverage” isn’t sidelined by an expansion of S-CHIP (State Children Health Insurance Program). There is a proposal by one official to require a “waiting period” for families that seek to transition from an unaffordable private plan to S-CHIP, or mandate a co-pay of some sort to make up for the lost profit of the bastards that make money from our physical plight. Another proposal by an opponent of the expansion would require that 95% of a state’s poor participate in S-CHIP before said program could be expanded to the middle-class families that have difficulty with private plans. Is any of this moral? Let your heart speak the truth.

 While Speaker Pelosi visited the still recovering New Orleans, a group of Impeachment Advocates attempted to get her attention. First of all, a plane flew around the area she was to visit with a banner that urged Pelosi’s action on impeachment, but was subjected to the attempt of another plane that sought to intimidate the first plane’s pilot and get them out of Pelosi’s sight. The second event that transpired was when an ER Physician, that had become sort of an inspiration in 2005 when he told Lord Cheney to “go f**k” himself during his late visit to the aftermath of Katrina, attempted to get Pelosi’s attention with a sign and calls to impeach, but was chased away and even silenced with a hand over the mouth by her security. Why is our government so afraid of their constitutional obligations?

 The Dictator’s top forestry official is now facing contempt charges and probable jail time for not doing his job and even going as far as blocking a review of the environmental impact a certain airborne flame-retardant poses when dropped by plane over forest fires. Apparently, the object of discussion kills fish whenever utilized, and is the now the focus of significant importance in Montana. Oh my, incompetence in the BOOsh Regime…who would of thought?

 Outgoing Fascist-architect Rove (confirmed by one Matt Cooper as the initial informant regarding Valerie Plame’s identity) arranged a number of “deployment teams” that used the various cabinet secretaries and senior officials in federal government agencies to help promote and secure political victories for BOOsh’s minions. Our tax dollars at work…we’re essentially paying for our own demise.

 The fruits of a horrendous educational system have produced a nation that –for the most part – is uneducated in both American and Global Politics. This is the very reason why honest candidates for any office – especially in federal government – are in an uphill battle against the willfully and woefully ignorant. The media does a grand disservice for the people that they should be keeping informed, not misled, and the piss-poor funding for education attributes for the other half our ignorance. We can no longer claim to be unaware of why people like BOOsh even have a chance to win a party nomination, let alone earn enough votes to steal an election…and get away with it. We are under-educated, therein lies the problem.

 In an atrocious turn of events for our brave men and women on the ground in BOOsh’s Occupational Conflict; the Pentagon will fall short by 2,000 vehicles of the 3,500 armored vehicles they initially sought to send to our troops. With all the money that has been spent on the military; you’d think this kind of thing would be taken care of. Support the troops this Regime does not!!

 A group called the Family Security Foundation is advocating the complete authoritarian rule of one George W. BOOsh. They insist that Democracy is actually counterproductive and prevents the wise from utilizing their wisdom for the greater good of their people and overall humanity. They claim that BOOsh would’ve been vindicated in exterminating the Iraqi people with Nukes whilst suppressing dissent at home. They seriously suggest that BOOsh learn a lesson or two from the tactics employed by Julius Caesar in dismantling the Roman Republic, conquering his enemies at home and abroad and then establishing the feared Roman Empire. These people honestly believe that Peace and Prosperity were sincerely erected as the inevitable benefits to the creation of that oppressive empire, and seem to hold on to that belief as something that would ring true with the official establishment of a Fascist, Authoritarian, Autocratic, Empire!! Mikel Bonin had the nerve to call ME a nutburger?!! LMAO!!

 Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized BOOsh’s Regime for wanting to control the path taken by the entire planet. Seen as no friend-of-democracy himself, I’d say it “takes on to know one”. A dictator knows another power-hungry madman (or woman) when they see one, and it always presents a major conflict. Putin’s pursuit of limitless authority over country may very well be just the tip of his ambitions in the long run. However, as insane as the ex-KGB agent is, he does represent a view shared by many leaders and people across the globe that is becoming a call to action to counter the growing threat of American Imperialism. The neocons, in their PNAC approach have initiated one hellacious firestorm.

 This was a short entry because the influx of news has either been repetitive or dull since Congress went on vacation. I assure you that when I return from my own two-three week vacation, business will pick back up.

 Does it make any sense that the Department of Injustice is compiling a plan to empower Alberto Gonzales with the authority to shorten a death-row inmate’s number of appeals? Look into it…this is very interesting. Particularly so for a man that had served in the Texas Bush Administration as the middle man between death row inmates and their plea for clemency.

 Thanks to Democratic Turncoats in both the House and Senate (including my very own Congressman), the Dictator now has the right to resume his Domestic Surveillance Program (wherein the Congress delegated the responsibility to determine who gets spied on as well as the oversight of said spying to the very regime that conducts the spying in the first place) without fear of congressional reprisals (as if they’d have the balls to do something about it anyway)…great job Dems, we never saw it coming!!

 As Congress sought to expand BOOsh’s surveillance powers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided the home of a former official in the Department of Justice suspected as playing a part in leaking the news of the illegal surveillance program to the media and the American People. Talk about suppression of the truth by intimidation…

 The nightmare surrounding BOOsh’s push for more invasive powers isn’t over, because he’s claiming now that the job is only partially done. His next goal is to shield telecommunication industries that help him in his surveillance of public communication from the scrutiny of those subjected to his spying…what the f*** could he do next?

 It seems that all of this hoopla over BOOsh’s power to spy on the very people he’s supposed to serve has actually served as an inspiration for other dictators around the world to undermine the rights of their citizens as well…BOOsh, leading America by example for dictatorships everywhere!!

 Right-wing Democrats in Congress of folded, again, in that they have once more delayed the overhaul of our elections to make them more trustworthy and accountable. They originally sought to fill the gaps in our system by next year, but now they’re shooting for 2010…wtf? By that time, Repugs may have stolen the White House (again) and questionably regained congress…so that goal doesn’t seem too realistic either.

 A website entitled “Pick Your Candidate” has a quick quiz taken by well over 200,000 people and ranks Kucinich as the number one choice (on the issues) of America. I’m not surprised…go ahead and test yourself by visiting the site and comparing your views with those of the candidates…

 Hillary Clinton has betrayed the working American. She speaks out against outsourcing on one side and then turns around and coddles the CEOs contribute to the crisis on the other. She believes, like BOOsh, that outsourcing is good for this country – in a sense – and that insourcing is damn near flawless. My fellow Dems; please, use your conscience and send Clinton a message that the Presidency is not for her.

 Karl Rove resigned…what else can I say? I don’t expect this man to be completely out of the game, and I’m not as enthusiastic as I initially was upon hearing this news. Reason being that this man needs to face more than a mere resignation. He needs an indictment, trial and imprisonment!!

 The repugs in Kansas are considering “loyalty oaths” to be required for admittance into the party and to set up methods on how disloyal members shall be reprimanded…is it going to be like the reprisals or hazing seen in Fraternities? Geesh…

 Mr. “hard work” BOOsh is on track to overtake Reagan as the record holder of vacation time whilst occupying the oval office…we really are getting our money’s worth with this bastard, huh?

 Rupert Murdoch, CEO of News Corp., is aspiring to run a media monopoly like never before. After acquiring the Wall Street Journal this fall, his goal is to use the WSJ to compete with and weaken the New York Times in order to eventually add it within his empire of deceit. This man is probably the greatest threat to free thought and this nation that has ever been.

 Faux News was recently caught red-handed for purposely sabotaging information on certain Wikipedia pages pertaining to a number of media figures; including Keith Olbermann, and then attempting to slander the credibility of the very site they sabotaged with a shameful “expose” segment by one of the Faux talking heads effected by said sabotage. Fair and Balanced? To even utter those words and Faux News in the same sentence is a crime against truth and reason. I guess Diebold is taking notes from this, because they too have sought to rewrite their own history on Wikipedia.

 Tom Tancredo, Congressman and “long-shot” Presidential Candidate said the following after being asked about what he’d do as President to deter another 9/11:

 “If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina. Because that is the only thing I can think of that might deter somebody from doing what they would otherwise do. But as I say, if I am wrong, fine. … I would be happy to do something else. But you had better find a deterrent or you will find an attack. There is no other way around it. There have got to be negative consequences for the actions they take. That's the most negative I can think of.” This man is a serious candidate for President? Threatening to bomb Mecca and Medina wouldn’t deter a terrorist attack, if anything that would empower the extremists. Consider this: You’re an extremist Muslim plotting another 9/11, then the leader of the “free world” threatens their most valuable religious sites in the event of said attack, do you: a) back off in fear of the dangers that face your precious holy monuments or b) follow through and use the attack on the holy sites to rally more to your cause? Let’s get real here, if a western-world leader ordered an attack on any Muslim Holy Site for whatever reason, the most secular of Muslims would take up arms in response. Tancredo needs to do our nation a favor by dropping out of the race and resigning from Congress!!

 The National or “Real ID” will be required for display upon entering national parks next year. Isn’t that wonderful? I mean, you can’t even view beautiful scenery without being suspected of terrorist intent…

 While our soldiers give their lives in BOOsh’s imperial conquest in oil-land; our military is actually mobilizing to become independent of the very resource and main reason that has made this whole debacle a controversy from the get-go. Irony at its best….

 Talk about fumbling the proverbial ball; the pentagon lost 190,000 weapons (including “AK-47 machine guns, pistols, body armour and helmets”) in transferring them to the Iraqi Security Forces. This results from a lack of accountability in this mess of an occupation. The report even notes that a good deal of this lost equipment was acquired and utilized by the insurgency…great job you incompetent assholes!!

 Douglas Lute, BOOsh’s Occupation Scapegoat is now advocating the reinstitution of the draft…let that rest on your conscience…if the draft is reinstituted, a number of outcomes could be likely: a) the public would be hesitant to support military actions in the future b) more cannon fodder means more war c) rebellion against the status quo…I favor “a” and “c” and we can start now by supporting Kucinich’s bid for the Presidency!!

 By now you have most certainly caught wind of the fact that BOOsh’s minions, not David Petraeus, are writing the Occupational Progress Report for the Congressional - shadow - Hearing next month. Is this really all that shocking? I mean, you actually expect the dictator to let an inkling of the truth slip through the cracks? If so, you’re either mentally ill, a Faux Viewer or you must be a caveman (all the above does apply, too).

 NBC’s Erin Burnett recently suggested that China’s undervalued currency and corrupt production of toys and food is a good thing for us when she said: “I think people should be careful what they wish for on China. Ya know, if China were to revalue it’s currency or China is to start making say, toys that don’t have lead in them or food that isn’t poisonous, their costs of production are going to go up and that means prices at Wal-Mart here in the United States are going to go up too. So, I would say China is our greatest friend right now, they’re keeping prices low and they’re keeping the prices for mortgages low, too.” It’s a “great” example these pundits in our media are setting when they openly claim that poisoning our food and toys are good for us because the production is cheap…

 Repugs in the Ohio General Assembly are piecing together legislation that would require women to get permission of a fetus’ father preceding an abortion. That sounds nice and all, but – if passed – it would require permission even if the mother knows not the father’s identity wherein the mother would have to provide a list of candidates to the physician and have to seek consent following a paternity test. How invasive can you get? What about victims of rape or incest…or a woman that may lose her life in the act of giving birth? As of now, there doesn’t seem to be any exceptions for those cases, unless you consider a requirement of a police report to prove the case is a direct result of unwanted intercourse…despicable.

 Despite the growing debts and deficits, the need for better infrastructural care, the poor condition of our national security and the ever worsening situation in the Iraqi (wherein the Sunnis have opted to abandon the puppet government) and Afghan (wherein some are saying we could be stuck there for almost four decades) Provinces of his empire, BOOsh has one solution – as always – for all; tax cuts. Humpty Dumpty has definitely taken his last great fall…

 The Global Economy is on the brink of collapse. This is evidenced by the fact that central banks in Europe and North America are funneling funds throughout their nation’s respective financial system to fend off this disaster. The looming horror that awaits us looks to dim the 1930s in comparison…by far.

 On August 6th, I delivered the following speech to City Council:

 "In September of 2006, MSNBC conducted a special report on Bush’s handling of terrorism in the months between taking office and that fateful September Tuesday morning. Included within was a clip of Condoleezza Rice stating that the administration hadn’t received “a comprehensive strategy to fight al Qaeda.” In fact, five days after inauguration day 2001, President Clinton’s counterterrorism czar, Richard Clarke, had sent the incoming Bush Regime a document entitled “Strategy for Eliminating the Threat… of al Qaeda.” This memo urged a cabinet level meeting to discuss the approach on al-Qaeda. They responded by demoting Clarke’s position of counterterrorism czar to a sub-cabinet position thus forcing Clarke to consult “deputy secretaries” instead of who really mattered.

 One obvious problem with this demotion was that it meant less administrative meetings on dealing with al-Qaeda. Although Clarke’s memo insisted that “al Qaeda is not some narrow, little terrorist issue that needs to be included in broader regional policy”, Rice, the National Security Adviser at the time, would explain the demotion in April 2004, noting it was justified because “America’s al Qaeda policy wasn’t working because our Afghanistan policy wasn’t working. And our Afghanistan policy wasn’t working because our Pakistan policy wasn’t working. We recognized that America’s counterterrorism policy had to be connected to our regional strategies and to our overall foreign policy.”

 Clarke’s meeting didn’t occur until April 2001, wherein Paul Wolfowitz, the Deputy Secretary of Defense at the time, insisted that Iraq, not al-Qaeda, was the real terror threat. By July 2001, the committee that Clarke had to deal with had finally worked out a strategy, the original strategy handed down from Clinton’s Administration, but it still had to be reviewed by sub-cabinet-level members and – according to Clarke – “(they’re) calendar was full and then they went on vacation, many of them, in August. So we couldn’t meet in August, and therefore, the principals met in September.” That meeting occurred after Labor Day, one week before 9/11.

 Another infamous warning sign was an FBI briefing Bush received, while on vacation, 6 years ago this day; a briefing that warned of Bin Laden’s determination to launch a strike within the United States. This briefing, combined with a few other reports conducted throughout that summer by our intelligence agencies, warned of how al-Qaeda had infiltrated our flight schools and were plotting to use this as a method to implement their attack. What excuse did we receive from the administration on why they didn’t act?

 Rice claimed that nobody “could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, that they would try to use an airplane as a missile - a hijacked airplane as a missile.” Bush said “they struck in a way that was unimaginable.”

 The facts tell us that there was enough information from past botched terror plots to at least make any competent leader ponder the possibility of exactly what the administration claimed to be unpredictable. In 1994, France discovered a plot to crash an airliner into the Eiffel Tower. In 95’, the Philippines uncovered plans to carry out either the exact or similar plans as what happened on 9/11. About two years before the attacks, federal agencies filed a report warning of a possible plane crash-related attack on the pentagon.

 That’s far from all; in September 2001, before the attacks, the FBI labeled the detained Zacarias Moussaoui as someone who might “fly something into the World Trade Center.” On September 10^th, Senator Feinstein requested a meeting with Cheney to discuss an aggressive approach to terrorism, but he insisted that he’d need six months to prepare before agreeing to meet with her. The horrifying fact is that during that same day, the National Security Agency intercepted a conversation from Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia wherein the statement was made that “tomorrow is zero hour.”

 Shouldn’t we be infuriated that – as reported by National Public Radio on April 12^th, 2004, and shared in a pdf file by americanprogress.org – the administration ordered a 12 percent cut to FBI funds for counterterrorism the day before the attacks? Shouldn’t it concern us that Bush – according to the Washington Post in January 2002 – initially opposed and attempted to prevent the creation of the 9/11 commission? Or what about the fact that – as reported by the Houston Chronicle in July 2003 – 28 pages of the congressional report detailing Saudi Arabia’s implication in the attacks were censored by the administration?

 What about the congressional testimony of Thomas Pickard wherein he recalled that as then-acting-FBI Director, he informed Former Attorney General Ashcroft of the growing terror threat during the summer of 2001 and was told not to mention anything more about terrorist threats? How does this blatant incompetence go unpunished? The administration’s willful ignorance is responsible for the deaths of thousands on 9/11 and countless others since. According to former Homeland Security Secretary Ridge; Bush and company have abused the department of homeland security by issuing more terror warnings than were realistically warranted, because the majority of all warnings were issued for political reasons.

 This administration initiated an illegal war of aggression that they partially justified with the looming threat of terrorism. They’ve purposely broken federal law with their warrantless surveillance of Americans, countenance of torture, illegal renditions, unconstitutional practice of detention and trial, and the purge of numerous other rights inherently retained by all people by using this incredible terrorist threat for justification.

 Why should we trust this regime? Why should we permit a precedence of Fascist Administrative policy to be inherited by all successors to the current occupants of the Executive Branch? On May 9^th, Bush issued a “National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive” that essentially sought to declare his office’s duty to take over the entire government in the event of a major catastrophe. The Newhouse News Service reported how concerned constituents urged Congressman Peter Defazio, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, to investigate the aforementioned directive but was denied access to the classified plans. The odd thing is that it was the first time he’s ever been denied access to classified information relating to homeland security, because the committee he sits on is normally granted access to all sensitive materials to ensure that at least a modicum of oversight is being conducted.

 A new intelligence report indicated that despite all of their rhetoric and the creation of a homeland security department, the terrorist threat has actually been resurrected to pre-9/11 levels. We’ve been played for fools these past six and a half years. They ignored the signs that led to 9/11, and have capitalized on the fear of a repeat to advance their agenda. We are dealing with the rising tide of fascism in our country, and that should be clearer now.

 It is relevant to quote Franklin Delano Roosevelt where he said: “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself - nameless, unreasoning, unjustified, terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.” Fear is a tool of confusion and disillusion. It stifles logical thought, confuses the conscience, softens dissent, and silences our reason. It leads to erratic behavior, chaos and eventually blind, submissive obedience to an apparent stronger figure. To counter fear, we need hope. That hope comes in the form of truth and justice. By demanding congressional action to truly investigate the practices of this regime and eventually hold them accountable for their crimes against the Republic, we will free ourselves of the fear that has crippled our better sense of who we are.

 In closing, I affirm this truth with a quote from the greatest man that has ever existed when Christ said in John 8:32 'And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.'"

 One week later, I went before the Council's Service Committee to plea my case and seek a motion to move a resolution demanding congressional action to the entire council. After a heartfelt presentation, void of a prewritten speech, the committee chair, Don Ellington (R) asked if anyone on committee wanted to motion for the measure to be sent to council. The two Democrats on board (Kennedy and Stare) addressed and commended me on my hardwork and dedication but also declared their opposition to using the council as an avenue for demanding impeachment, let alone an investigation of anyone in Federal Government. So, like that, in accordance with the previously mentioned deal I made with Ellington; my efforts for council to take action ended...void of any support on council.

Tonight's Conclusion

 Life isn't easy, but that doesn't mean it can't be better. We just have to strive to progress, plain and simple.

 An American Coal Company named “Drummond”, which operates in Colombia, has been financially linked to the assassination of union leaders as an instrument of policy in keeping labor costs down. How are we to lead by example if corporate f**kers like those running this corporation are committing crimes across the globe in order to obtain a short term profit?

 HMO premiums are projected to increase nationwide by over 14%, the highest hike in four years; with the highest regional increase being 18% in the Midwest. Gotta love that healthcare industry…

 A congressional measure to renew and even expand the State Children’s Healthcare Insurance Program has been threatened with a veto by BOOsh because it’s supposedly part of a larger scheme to socialize all medicine and take over the medical industry. The problem with this is that this program is already existent, proven as effective and inexpensive, and warrants no criticism; let alone a veto for a simple renewal! This is plainly immoral; nothing less.

 During a hearing conducted by the House Oversight Committee, it was disclosed that in the aftermath of Katrina and Rita, FEMA tested one trailer for any poisonous chemicals or other substances that remained present and it was positive for formaldehyde by 75 times more than a regular workplace would permit its employed to work around. The end result? The woman that was set to move in booked and FEMA STOPPED testing the trailers!! Think about that…

 A man was recently arrested in Maryland for selling impeachment buttons “aggressively and without a permit”. The act seems politically motivated to some, but there’s no telling other than when one examines the circumstances surrounding the matter. The owner of the market seemed excited about the frenzy and boosted attendance prompted by the controversy. In all honesty, this is ridiculous. If the man isn’t seriously harassing anyone or disrupting business; then he shouldn’t even face apprehension, let alone 90 days in jail! Why is a permit needed to distribute and sell political propaganda for a minimal profit? This is absurd and seems to be an epidemical miscarriage of justice suffered all over where other Pro-Impeachment activists are being prosecuted for their dissent.

 During one of the greatest betrayals of the progressive-liberal movement for safer and more perfect union; Rep. John Conyers had Cindy Sheehan and a number of other activists arrested for their occupation of his office which was in part an effort to urge his immediate action in initiating proceeds to remove BOOsh and Lord Cheney from power, or at least break precedent by impeaching them for all their atrocities. Conyers chooses power of principle and the people. I’m so ashamed of Congress this day.

 A Pennsylvanian Congressman named Bob Brady became one of the latest members of the House to sign on as a co-sponsor of H.Res. 333. The disturbing fact that Congress – even as led by the Democratic Majority – has been so sluggish in supporting even a mere censure of the fascist bastards, let alone a measure of impeachment causes me to fall ill and wish to regurgitate all over their pathetic suits, ties and mindless facial expressions!!

 Finally, after all the lies and attempts to conceal the truth otherwise, Congress has had it and is preparing to impeach…Gonzales. As ecstatic as I am over this turn of events, I must admit that I’m a bit disappointed that Congress is so pathetic that they would jump all over impeaching the top attorney in the nation for lying about politically motivated termination of subordinates rather than take action on his superiors whom have lied about: rationale behind invading/occupying Iraq, countenancing torture, warrantless wiretaps of Americans, concealing the conspiracy to uncover a covert agent’s identity for political retribution…shall I go on?

 Some people have begun to read between the lines and single out the lies of the MSM’s picks for President. Obama is one of those who seems to disappoint more and more everyday, especially as he maintains a position on military action that seems all to similar to the BOOsh Doctrine for any liberty-peace-justice-loving American to stomach. The man frightens me, but maybe that’s what the media finds so appealing about him; he’s willing to pay lip service in order to achieve his objectives…pathetic.

 John Edwards and Hillary Clinton recently exchanged remarks in one they thought was a private discussion on orchestrating some kind of effort directed at limiting debate time for “less serious” candidates. How isn’t this, an example of the so-called mainstream trying to squash dissent and dictate policy and even for whom we should vote to the people?

 Despite the fact that he had been notified otherwise six days prior, Alberto Gonzales deceptively told Congress that there were no cases whatsoever of any abuses committed by the FBI since they were recently granted new overreaching authority. Isn’t it time to do something by now?

 After recently being directed, under the false pretense of “executive privilege”, by the Dictator not to honor a subpoena issued by Congress; Sara Taylor, former BOOsh political director, chose to testify – selectively – before congress on the ongoing investigation of BOOsh’s Attorney Purge last year. Taylor seemed to nit-pick what questions to answer through her repeated claims of “privilege”, and – in doing so – displayed a complete disregard for the law, Congress and the people of this country. If you’re not convinced by now that something is awry; you may never be.

 In relation to the Sara Taylor fiasco, Harriet Miers, a BOOsh loyalist since his days as Texan Governor as well as his Legal Counsel and 2005 first pick to fill-in the Supreme Court seat now held by Samuel Alito, was also directed to ignore the same congressional subpoena issued to Taylor and has twice done so. What blatant contempt for the law by a woman that sought to sit as an Associate Justice of our highest court!!

 Why does the BOOsh Regime – whom supposedly declared a “war on terror” in 2001, and threatened that any nation affiliated with terror would face their inevitable demise – fund the Pakistani Government with needless billions when very little of that money goes to the benefit of the Pakistani people let alone the battle against those that would carry out acts of terror? How come, a nation that has coddled and even bribed terrorists, possibly with the billions BOOsh gives them, is at the top of our list of allies in this so-called “war”? How come a totalitarian regime receives so much praise and so little rebuke from our country; one that supposedly stands for Democracy, Republicanism and liberty? It’s time for a soul search…

 As further proof of how inept BOOsh’s anti-terror measures have been in securing this nation; undercover congressional investigators set up a counterfeit company with no assets other than a P.O. Box and applied for and successfully obtained licensure from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to permit the purchase of materials necessary to create a “dirty bomb”…does that alarm you?

 Whilst BOOsh and Company divert our attention from terrorism and direct it at the non-threat that existed in Iraq; al-Qaeda has regrouped and become stronger than ever, according to our intelligence analysts. Incompetence is dangerous, and thus impeachable.

 Why would any so-called president want to conceal information about a soldier’s death? Why would that information endanger the executive branch and press it to invoke “executive privilege”? Five Words: The Murder of Patrick Tillman.

 BOOsh has reportedly been avoiding the temptation to invade Iran until a recent meeting wherein a frustrated Lord Cheney expressed his discontent with the “lack of progress” in the diplomatic approach and prompted the BIC to agree with the one that advocates military/imperial action. We…must…be…concerned.

 Members of the House Homeland Security Committee are usually granted access to what is typically “sensitive” information, but not in a recent case where one member of that Committee – Democratic Rep. Peter Defazio – was pressed by his constituents to examine a Presidential Directive issued by the Dictator that would empower his Regime with authority over the entire government at the offset of a major catastrophe. He requested information on this order and was denied access thereto. Why? Reason being that a plot is thickening wherein the Regime is seeking complete-totalitarian rule; thus completing our nation’s transition from Democratic-Republic to Fascist Dictatorship!!

 What a bizarre world we live in when a country can host roughly 3/4ths of the 9/11 hijackers, play a counterproductive role in our occupation of Iraq, and stifle any and all attempts to follow up on 9/11 with any potentially educational investigations and still receive billions of dollars worth of upgraded military arsenal/equipment!! Should I have to mention the name of the nation in question? I’ll give you a few hints…it’s a peninsula and home to the Saudi Royal Family…

 When one poses a question to you seeking to discover who truly supports the troops, tell them this. The Pentagon Inspector General discovered that two military supplier companies have been rewarded incredibly since 2000 as the sole providers of supplies for the military despite the fact that their services are inadequate and endanger our soldiers…how disgusting is that?

 As an effort to show compassion for those that have sacrificed alongside them; the Danish forces have been evacuating a number of Iraqi workers with every unit they pullout of the war zone. Not only that, but Denmark has also offered visas for every Iraqi that wants to seek asylum. God Bless then Danes’!!

 Maybe I discussed this before on this site, but the pentagon seems to be sending bills to our veterans for equipment damaged in battle. Make sense to you? Me neither. How the hell is it justified to send bills to those that sacrificed their lives and family time for this nation now the responsible ones for replacing everything that was destroyed during the job they had to do? What was supposed to happen with that equipment? Are our soldiers expected to occupy a rebellious population and return unscathed? Next thing you know, families will be receiving a bill for lost government property when their loved ones die at war!! This is ludicrous!!

 An Iraq-Occupation vet that has been posting for quite some time on neocon blogs about atrocities that he personally witnessed/partook has finally unveiled his true identity for credibility purposes. His major qualm with proponents of the occupation is “to see the plausibility of events that I witnessed questioned by people who have never served in Iraq.” Thank you sir, for your bravery and honesty. May you have peace in Christ now that you have set your soul free by means of the enunciation of truth.

 An Iraqi refugee that had taken up residency in Britain in fleeing Saddam Hussein after his father was tortured by that regime and eventually came to help monitor al-Qaeda in the region was illegally captured by CIA operatives, tortured, demeaned, and deprived of food and water amongst other things. The British Government knew of American plans to violate international law and apprehend this man, but chose not to intervene because he was “Iraq’s problem”…irony at its tragic worst.

 During a video conference, Iraqi’s Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki expressed outrage over the Regime’s strategy of arming and empowering potential/”former” threats to his administration to “battle al-Qaeda”. He also demanded the resignation of General Petraeus, but BOOsh’s only response was to tell his puppet to calm down…the Dictator doing what he does best….

 In the midst of the worsening renewed tension between Russia and the West; Russia, under the direction of its crazed leader/President – Vladimir Putin, has suspended its participation in a 1990/1999 treaty that called for a complete withdrawal of Russian forces from the former Soviet Bloc states of Georgia and Moldova. This may – in part – be due to the heightened tension following BOOsh’s announced position regarding “an independent Kosovo”. Nevertheless, this is not to be taken lightly.

 What a month this has truly been. I will keep everyone posted on all - if any - progress on my impeachment efforts in City Council, and hope to post another entry within two weeks.

 While you all wait on my next regular entry (which, due to family issues, should be up by August 5th) I wanted to share my recent experience in speaking before  Newark City Council on July 16th. In the run up to this speech (since my last update on these efforts), I've had quite the rollercoaster ride with Council.

 As I shared with you all before, Councilman Ellington (R), the Council Service Committee Chairman offered to put the resolution demanding the ouster of the BOOsh Regime up in the next convention of said committee after said letter. However, there was an apparent misunderstanding.

 In the days that followed the committee meeting, I become curious as to what the decision on impeachment was, so I inquired:

"I have received no word on how the Service Committee meeting went, but the next speech is typed and ready for Monday...see you there."

...then Councilwoman Kennedy (D) responded: "Daniel, as I understood it, you were to be there to present your idea to the committee.  Don said you never got back to him with anything, so I think you dropped the ball"

 ...to which I angrily retorted: "What? That wasn't the deal. He never said anything about me having to appear. I did to get back with him"

 followed up by a message that explained further: "It is absurd to even suggest that I dropped the ball. I had a lot of family issues on Monday (my wife had left the house on Sunday and didn't return until Tuesday due to an argument with another family member) and wasn't of the right state of mind. All Ellington said was that he would bring the matter up and try to get the votes for it to pass; I never had an invite to present my case - for the umpteenth time - nor did I even know that it was open to the public. I thought committee meetings were behind closed doors, my mistake in that regard. However, I would appreciate it if this matter was brought up once more before committee with my newfound knowledge of the right to argue my case"

...then I again sent a message to the entire council, forewarning them of my next speech: "As I mentioned before, the next speech will proceed as planned as will my efforts until this matter has been heard and voted on before the entire council. The next speech is on War Crimes...other than torture. Thank you"

 As Pam and I arrived for the meeting, I was intent on making an impact, and was almost immediately approached by a member of council. First, it was Councilwoman Stare (D) whom wanted to share an editorial with me about bipartisanship and urging BOOsh to use the last moments he has in office to unite the country and do right by it...FAT CHANCE!!

 Next was Council President Guthrie (D) whom politely asked right off the bat how my family was doing. He then offered some friendly advice regarding my presentation, noting that I had appeared angry last time around. I assured him that things would be different this time around as I was prepared to ignore any mockery from the audience and present my case eloquently.

 Councilwoman Floyd (D) then followed and asked if I've approached Congressman Space on this matter. When I briefly retold of my short conversation with Space on the matter, Floyd advised that I think about why he's hesitant to support impeachment, because of the political situation he's in and that "you can't get much done if it's in one term". I made sure to respond to her blatant ignorance upon returning home.

 Councilman Ellington (R) then made his appearance and sat next to me, with his paperwork and all. He inquired again, for affirmation purposes, if I'd be satisfied with a vote by the entire council regardless of the outcome. I again assured him of my satisfaction and took my seat in the chambers.

 It wasn't long after Pam and I got comfortable before Guthrie approached me, noting that Ellington was willing to take up my issue, but wanted some kind of sample legislation for it. I met with Ellington again, and told him that I'd send the resolution language to him if needed, and he politely noted that if I couldn't get it to him, he'd just think something up...

The speech (please note that only two words were edited by yours truly during this speech, leaving out "soldier" and "marine" for certain reasons):

"It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what a war crime is. Initiating an unprovoked war of aggression is a disturbance of the peace and a war crime. However, the initial invasion that led to the quagmire of an occupation now ripped apart by a sectarian civil war is only the tip of the iceberg in the mounting evidence of numerous violations of international law by this regime. The horror stories depicted by witnesses in Iraq, the media, and even veterans of this conflict tend to raise the blood temperature and render the listener uncomfortable.

 A July 2006 New York Times report unveiled that recruiting shortfalls had permitted a skinhead and neo-nazi infiltration of our military. In October 2006, the Associated Press reported that the military was able to meet their recruitment goals by lowering their aptitude standards. Why is all this relevant? Cause ill-equipped and unstable recruits pose a major threat to national security and any military mission.

 On June 22^nd, the entire Mainstream Media uncritically reported that military helicopters had killed 17 gunmen suspected of having links to al-Qaeda in Iraq’s Diyala Province. It would soon become evident that the media merely parroted an explanation distributed by the pentagon without even attempting to follow up with some investigative journalism. The BBC, however, took the initiative and sent their representatives to the area of the incident. The locals revealed that these men weren’t al-Qaeda operatives but were – in fact - paid guards of the township that patrolled the area to protect their people from insurgents.

 That incident isn’t alone, because a similar attack that had supposedly killed four Taliban insurgent fighters in Afghanistan had – as reported by the New York Times on June 30^th - actually killed an 80 year old man, two sons of his and a grandson. However, as disturbing as the notion of a lax media that willingly attempts to avoid the truth and reports whatever the military tells them to; still isn’t half as bad as other crimes that are less known and much harder to talk about.

 Many of us should remember the two military operations that were orchestrated to regain control of Fallujah, Iraq in 2004 after four U.S. contractors were killed, dismembered and further desecrated by the angry citizens of that city. The first was in April, where – independent journalist Dahr Jamail, a man that occasionally writes for mainstream news outlets including the Guardian and the  Inter Press Service – witnessed the use of free fire zones or “turkey shoots” as he overheard one soldier refer to it.

 The second siege of Fallujah, postponed until after the 2004 Presidential Election from its original date in October was seemingly just as, if not more, ruthless. The military had even reportedly warned citizens to leave the city or else approximately a week before the assault. Kevin Sites, an NBC Correspondent reported on the 10^th of November 2004 how marines in Operation Phantom Fury were utilizing “liberal rules of engagement” and that he had actually overheard Staff Sergeant Sam Mortimer inform his subordinates that everything to the west of them was “weapons-free”, thus permitting them to fire upon everything that moved, as it was all deemed hostile. Three days later, this correspondent horrifically taped an unarmed, wounded Iraqi gunned down in a Mosque.

 Bilal Hussein, an associated press photographer, reported how he had decided to flee the besieged city at the height of the chaos when he ran out of resources and originally opted to do so by means of swimming across the Euphrates River. However, he soon changed his mind when he observed military helicopters killing anyone trying to do as he had planned, including a family of five. Equally as sadistic, another man that only identified himself as Khalil told of his experience seeing white-flag waving civilians gunned down as they were fleeing, and people who couldn’t swim diving into the river in an attempt to swim, because they’d rather drown than stay and be killed.

 Believe it or not, I actually left 90% of the Fallujah nightmare out, for a number of reasons, but this story of war crimes is far from over. Some disillusioned, repentant and demoralized veterans have confessed to either having witnessed or taken part in these crimes.

 Jessie Macbeth, a former Army Ranger details his own experience in a video that can be easily found on a google-video search, he says: “When we were doing the night raids in the houses, we would pull people out and have them all on their knees and zip-tied. We would ask the man of the house questions. If he didn't answer the way we liked, we would shoot his youngest kid in the head. We would keep going, this was our interrogation. He could be innocent. He could be just an average Joe trying to support his family. If he didn't give us a satisfactory answer, we'd start killing off his family until he told us something. If he didn't know anything, I guess he was SOL.”

 Then there’s Staff Sergeant Jim Massey, a marine, whom detailed in another video interview how he was asked about his obvious discontent appearance, when he expressed that he had had a bad day due to witnessing a lot of innocents die; his commanding officer insisted that it had been a good day. There is a possible connection between these innumerable crimes and another tragedy: The Marine Corps Times shared the story of Marine Major John Ruocco back in May; a soldier reportedly haunted with nightmares and increasingly disconnected from his wife and children in the three months that followed his return. One night after he promised his spouse that he’d get help; he was found dead. There is no certainty over what he was haunted by, but that should deter us from taking a stand to stop this madness.

 Our soldiers signed up to serve their country. They volunteered to serve a cause greater than themselves, and regardless of why they chose to serve; they did so fully aware of the dangers to their health and the sacrifices that were to be made. I’ve said before that I love and honor the sacrifice of our brave men and women, but those that willingly partake in acts of cruelty or savagery against their fellow man are undeserving of any honor.

 With these crimes so prevalent, and there is a lot more evidence out there of them, it is inexcusable that this regime has done so little to prevent them. They have failed to ensure that proper screening of all recruits would be upheld to protect the stability and humanity of the military and if they’ve not directly ordered these acts, then by refusing to sign on to the International Criminal Court they share the blame in their complicit incompetence.

 Standing up to fascism, imperialism and aggressive war is a duty of all Americans. The Democrats must uphold democracy, Republicans must defend the republic, Independents must speak up for the right to independence, Populists must fight for the interest of the populace, Conservatives must conserve the constitution, Libertarians must protect our liberties, and Liberals must labor for the expansion of the same. To bend under political pressure and fail in taking action to live up to our obligations as Americans in these assorted responsibilities is a blatant dereliction thereof."

 Record temperatures and a drought across this nation seem to be the latest freak occurrence of the climate crisis. I know we’ve had heat waves before, but the combination of record heat and other incredible misplaced weather patterns forces us to acknowledge that we are in danger and need immediate action…God, help us.

 A truly disappointing development in the fight to curb global warming is the recent discovery that the Govenator is merely toying with us environmentalists. He has no respect for the environment and mocks us with every spiteful misrepresenting statement he makes!! Damn you Arnold!!

 The plight of a glacial lake has been blamed on the rising global temperatures that apparently melted the glacier that created a natural dam, thus emptying the lake into the sea. People…please don’t procrastinate any further; our planet needs us to be good stewards…

 The number of uninsured Americans in the health industry went up by 2 million according to one survey. I’m one of these people, and suffer from lack of adequate care that is needed by an asthmatic. I have to rely on my doctor providing me with free samples of my prescriptions in order for me to even obtain my medications. I watch the suffering of my mother due to our incompetent and careless system…and now my son suffers from their misplaced priorities…we really need serious reform…

 New details about the criminal negligence of BOOsh’s Regime in the wake of Katrina sicken me…FEMA had a plan relating to a response to a major disaster like what happened in Late-August, Early-September 2005, but never implemented it…why?

 Some Neocons in the media, especially Faux News, are waging a smear campaign against demands for a Universal Healthcare program, claiming that it would open the flood gates for al-Qaeda doctors to enter and sabotage our healthcare industry…LMAO!!! The use of fear at its worst…

 SiCKO has the health insurance companies falling all over themselves in a drive to smear Michael Moore and clear the damage that has been done. They are afraid because this movie tells the disturbing truth of how greed runs our healthcare system, not one’s compassion for their fellow man. So help me, I’ll do everything in my power to ensure that the truth is told to the masses…if only I could see that movie before its DVD release, seeing how the local movie theater doesn’t plan to show it…

 Former Reagan Deputy Attorney General Bruce Fein called for the impeachment of Lord Cheney recently, a move supported – according to one poll – by roughly 54% of the country. When the F**k will Congress act?

 As I continue to ask “how much more”, a number of Congressmen and women are answering my question already. For them, they’ve had enough of the shredding of our constitution, for them, they’ve had enough of this regime’s disdain for the law, for them, they’ve had enough of being overlooked – as members of congress – by an out of control regime in pursuit of unfettered power…keep em’ coming, keep em’ waking up!!

 Barack Obama is not worthy of the presidency. He’s not even merely of the Senate, let alone any other office of public service. Why? Observe the man’s comments on impeachment: “There's a way to bring an end to (loose ethical standards, ...secrecy and incompetence), you know: vote the bums out, (t)hat's how our system is designed. I think you reserve impeachment for grave, grave breeches, and intentional breeches of the president's authority. I believe if we began impeachment proceedings we will be engulfed in more of the politics that has made Washington dysfunction. We would once again, rather than attending to the people's business, be engaged in a tit-for-tat, back-and-forth, non-stop circus.” So, after everything we know about the administration and their practices, how many more f**king laws must they violate in order to qualify for impeachment? Commuting the sentence of an administrative criminal the day he was supposed to serve said sentence? Outing the name of a covert agent for political retaliation? Deceiving the world to invade and occupy another country? Spying on the people in violation of the law? That’s just the top of the mountain; Obama, you are out of touch with reality and a threat to this Democratic Republic!!

 By pressing so hard for his Comprehensive Immigration Reform, BOOsh has turned either a large portion or the entirety of his base against him and in favor of impeachment…we must build support for this movement by capitalizing on this moment…

 The two Democrats in Congress that are keeping the membership from initiating impeachment proceeds acknowledged that BOOsh violated his oath of office and betrayed the American people in commuting the sentence that Libby was dealt for committing obstruction of justice and perjury…but why do they still refuse to act? Questionable practices that endanger our republic should not be tolerated!! House Speaker Pelosi, a nitwit that leads the most inept Congress to date, said that protecting the constitution by impeachment was only worth it if the task is possible. In all honesty, Pelosi, Hoyer and Conyers are the only ones making it impossible!!

 Finally, after a little over six years of incompetence, criminal negligence, cronyism, and disregard for the laws of the land, MoveOn.org has finally woke the f**k up and joined the impeachment movement…against Dick Cheney…they need to expand the effort to oust BOOsh too, but all in good time…

 I’m sick and tired of hearing how Congress doesn’t want to hold BOOsh accountable because the leadership is opposed to it, or they’re unsure of whether or not it’d divide the country. Neither of those really matter when our CONSTITUTION IS IN DANGER!! Honor your damn oaths of office, which are continuing to be irrelevant more and more in this day and age, and reprimand these criminals!!

 Other incompetent fools in Congress merely aspire to express their discontent with BOOsh’s crimes with a simple condemnation of them. Condemning his practices does nothing but stall true action; he could care less what Congress thinks of him, IMPEACH HIM!!!

 CNN recently offered the Presidential Candidates a chance to vote on how the July 27^th debate will be structured. The special youtube debate (in which I submitted a video question on protecting the constitution under my youtube alias, dem4christ04) was up for one of two platforms: an equal chance for answers to all questions and mixing up of the candidates so to permit a fair chance for the viewers to hear from and see all candidates, and the popular format placing the “top tier” candidates in the middle, the “second tier” on both sides of the top and the “third tier” at the edges…it was split down the middle, with Clinton, Kucinich, Dodd and Gravel voting for the fair coverage and Obama, Edwards, Richardson, and Biden voting (with CNN as the tie-breaker in their favor) for the unfair/popular setting. Again, Obama shows his contempt for the truth.

 When Cheney recently claimed that he didn’t have to abide by an executive order issued by the Dictator himself, because it didn’t apply to him. Temporary Propaganda Official Dana Perino intentionally lied to the press in attempting to cite a section of the EO in question to allege that Cheney was exempted from the order (wherein executive offices were instructed to disclose all handling of classified information to a special watchdog group). I’m near fed up with our government’s laziness in dealing with this corruption.

 I once made a personal pledge never to cover any of the vitriol spewed out by the Nazi-barbie Ann Coulter, but her recent comments on an edition of Good Morning America have prompted a change of plans: “if I’m going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.” I believe that enough has been said by this bitch. Wishing death upon any person is morally reprehensible, let alone a fellow citizen…not to mention that this person is running for public office. Coulter is dangerous and disgusting and anyone that continues to grant her an outlet to emit her venom is a disgrace and will no longer enjoy my viewing.

 It shouldn’t surprise anyone that BOOsh abuses any and all power allotted to him (while actively seeking an expansion of said grossly interpreted powers), but his recent decision to once again abuse the recess appointment to place a crony in an ambassadorship just infuriates me…HOW MUCH MORE ARE GOING TO TAKE?!!!

 I originally thought it was entirely satirical, but since I have discovered otherwise, Mitt Romney apparently placed his dog carrier (animal inside) on the top of his family vehicle for a trip from Massachusetts to Ontario…is this the type of guy you want as President?

 A journalist recently went undercover to get the scoop on how lobbyists press the legislators to favor or oppose certain legislation and came under fire by those investigated as well as some in the media for “lying to get a story”. Hmm, are they saying that they oppose the CIA, FBI and any other police force that uses a cover to get information they need to do a job? This is just a way to distract the people from the truth…

 The Democratic Congress – including my Congressman Zack Space – voted in favor of preventing the Federal Communications Commission from requiring that all political issues be presented in a balanced approach. Space is either ill-informed, careless, or he really doesn’t want all views to have a fair and equal chance at being heard. Either way, the nail is in Space’s political coffin as far as I’m concerned…he and the Democratic leaders in Congress just approved a bye for propaganda to remain a part of our system.

 In an attempt to obstruct our access to unlimited amounts of information and keep the MSM in check for all of its propaganda, the Federal Trade Commission has officially killed Net Neutrality in granting permission to telecommunications corporations to charge for access to certain sites on the internet…the assault on the truth wages on, and we must retaliate and curb this threat from worsening!!

 No need to worry about Occupational Invasion Architect and former World Bank President Wolfowitz, because now he’s joined the American Enterprise Institute, a Neocon think tank that helped the effort to build support for the incursion in the first place, as a “visiting scholar”…more like he just went home.

 A man running to take on hospitalized Sen. Tim Johnson next year justified why his state’s legislators didn’t include rape and incest as exceptions to their broad abortion ban said the following: “I think ‘rape and incest’ is a buzzword. It’s a bit of a throwaway line and not everybody who says that really understands what that means. How are you going to define that?” Hmm, let me see, rape is when you are forced to engage another sexually and incest pertains to either molestation by or other sexual interactions with a family member…who the hell doesn’t know that? This man is merely attempting to justify an immoral act where the government interferes with the private lives of the people…imposing his and others’ religious views on the people of South Dakota…shame on you!

 Neal Boortz, member of the vast propaganda machine, spouted out a new lie that Clinton was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice “just like Libby”. However, as Keith Olbermann (whom has now joined the impeachment movement by calling for BOOsh’s resignation) so eloquently put it; Boortz must live in an alternate universe, because Clinton was merely impeached by CONGRESS on those charges, not convicted by the Senate. Libby was indicted by a federal prosecutor and then found guilty by a jury of his peers…BIG DIFFERENCE!! Dumbass…

 George H.W. Bush, the dictator’s father was labeled as “judicious” with his pardons during a discussion on Clinton’s questionable pardons at his term’s closure and BOOsh’s commutation of a convicted criminal from within the ranks of his regime…there was really no argument, all three utilized the authority of presidential clemency powers in a rather abusive manner, but BOOsh’s commutation of Libby is beyond excusable, this is a downright mockery of our justice system…again BOOsh expresses his contempt for the rule of law in his practices as supreme dictator!!

 A monopoly continues as Rupert Murdoch has now reportedly finalized a deal to purchase the Dow Jones and its highly respected Wall Street Journal…although Dow rejects this report and denies its validity, we can be absolutely certain that – if true - this is bad.

 Lord Cheney actively sought out new ways to define and then implement torture from the beginning of this regime’s effort to establish a new empire. New details, previously suppressed by the media, have come out depicting a horror story of incredible proportions. Cheney aggressively pressed the Dictator to approve and even order the use of these “enhanced” methods of interrogation. Purposely circumventing the law in order to seize more power, how doesn’t that reflect the power grab of the Nazis again?

 In one of his recent attempts to present a false image to justify the continuation of his occupation in Iraq, the Dictator utilized the terrible “al-Qaeda’s gonna getcha” approach 27 times in one Iraq Press Briefing. I take it that someone’s desperate to remind people of the “terror war” and the imperative to stay the current course so BOOsh can continue to possess a blank check to shred our constitution, expand his authority and occupy whoever he pleases…

 How much harder will Lieberman persist to warmonger relating to Iran? It seems that he knows not how to stop, but why should we expect him to do what’s in the best interest of the entire planet when he ignores reality altogether, especially pertaining to the occupation.

 The Neoconservatives in the media are doing everything they can to build support for another invasion. They write falsehoods about a link between Iran and the chaos in Iraq and then the rest of the MSM picks it up as unquestionable fact…propaganda at its best.

 A soldier, deployed in Iraq, sent a letter to loved ones that both detailed the misinformation spread by the right wing media and the administration, and called for his letter to be shared with as many people as possible. Sergeant Jason Walker details how – from his perspective – there hasn’t been progress, and that most of the people that were appreciative of the invasion, have now deserted their homes.  I advise that everyone take Petraes’ words with a grain of salt, especially regarding progress in Iraq. Read the following opinion written just before the 2004 election by the man of the hour: “I see tangible progress [in Iraq]. Iraqi security elements are being rebuilt from the ground up. The institutions that oversee them are being reestablished from the top down. And Iraqi leaders are stepping forward, leading their country and their security forces courageously…There are reasons for optimism…Training is on track and increasing in capacity. Infrastructure is being repaired…Progress has also been made in police training…Considerable progress is also being made in the reconstruction and refurbishing of infrastructure for Iraq’s security forces.” If only we all knew then what we know now…LOL

 The Provincial Civil War in Iraq just surpassed another record…the deadliest quarter for occupational soldiers…the longer this madness continues, the more horrifying the reality of it all becomes…

 The injustices suffered by our veterans are more than tragic, they are downright immoral. One soldier returned from an extended tour in Iraq to find his small business and credit in ruin; there needs to be a credit incentive for all veterans and some kind of safeguard to protect their businesses while they are deployed…c’mon I thought these people were the backbone of this country…how the f**k can we survive without that?!!

 This occupation and the revelations within continue to disturb me everyday. I’m actually haunted by the mere thought that our government is willing to deceive the entire populace regarding their conduct in Iraq – or elsewhere – just to maintain the current course. How the hell did our great country get to this point? I’ve read a column that depicts more of this horror story and continues to serve as an eye-opener. In this column, a few particular practices of our military strike fear into my heart. Last month, a report was filed by the military and then unquestionably re-reported throughout the MSM regarding an aerial assault on 17 suspected-terrorists. The report labeled these victims as “al-Qaeda fighters”, but – thank God for foreign journalists – the BBC investigated and interviewed the villagers thus uncovering a war crime of a preposterous magnitude. It appears so that these 17 men were actually paid guards of the village, protecting the people within from insurgents!! The same thing has been perpetrated in Afghanistan where four men were slaughtered and labeled as “Taliban fighters”, but they were later discovered to be a grandfather, his two sons and grandson…posing no threat at all to anyone. The columnist concludes his story with a speech by a now deceased and highly respected journalist whose career was mainly launched into superstardom during the conflict in Vietnam. That journalist told of how the government did all they could to intimidate him and his colleagues and force them into abiding by the status quo. We live in a scary world, and we need to fight this.

 An accidental admittance regarding the motivation to invade and occupy Iraq slipped through the cracks when Prime Minister Howard of Australia confessed that “resource security” was an important factor in at least his country’s involvement in the imperial conquest…he’s since tried to cover up his folly, but has only been effective in exacerbating the matter. We’re on to you asshole.

 BOOsh’s puppets in Iraq are preparing to sell their resources to his buddies in the oil industry. This is the raping of a once sovereign and the inherited wealth beneath its people!!

 The dictator never ceases to patronize the American People, and use fearmongering to forward his agenda and damn us to an eternity of imperialistic rule. With the never ending assault on logic and reason, how can anyone stay calm, or even sane in these times?

 Senator Jim Webb betrayed his constituents in the Supplemental Vote to continue BOOsh’s occupation, but he is now attempting to make up for that with a proposal to grant soldiers up to three years at home when their tours end before they’re redeployed…I say too little too late…

 In a movement that alarms me greatly, Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan President, warned of an emerging “resistance war” with the American Empire. He is pursuing an arms-boosting policy to grow the Venezuelan military to “protect” his country from what he perceives to be an inevitable imperial conquest into his oil-rich nation. Just knowing that he’s building an army to counter ours, and is purchasing a large array of weapons from Russia and Iran, among others, troubles me…

 In a failed attempt to coerce a number of nations in Africa to host imperial bases on their soil became the latest evidence that our relations with even the closest of allies in the continent are rocky at best. These people don’t trust the BOOsh Doctrine, and rightfully so, all they have to do is read the mission statement of the Project for a New American Century. Once again…great job BOOsh…

 Furthermore, the rest of the world just doesn’t trust the leadership of the empire. Neither do they trust those that claim to be the counter-force to the Regime. In essence, what you have are two evils, one that already holds the reigns of influence and extreme power, and the other, a coalition of emerging counter-forces, preparing to battle (politically, economically if not militarily)for total dominance. We must stop this aggressiveness…

 The Youth Group Nashi, a group that sounds to similar to Nazi and just as scary was created to brainwash the youth of Russia and train them to be loyal to the policies and ideals of Vladimir Putin. To say that this man isn’t a threat to us all would be misleading…what was it that BOOsh liked when he peered into his soul about six years ago?

 BOOsh’s Supreme Court has already begun its onslaught against decades of progress, to rewind our nation to the dark ages and reel us back to intolerance. From diversity in schools, to funding medical procedures for women; these extremists endanger our constitution, and should also be subject to removal from office…

A Breakthrough in Newark City Council...as reported by yours truly at Democrats.com:

{On Monday (July 2nd), I gave the following speech to Newark City Council to support my demands for their action in demanding the impeachment of the BOOsh Regime:

"Our initial thought would be to assume that heinous crimes against humanity would never be perpetrated by an American, let alone encouraged by an out of control regime in pursuit of unlimited power, but numerous reports that I have discovered over the past few years, detail a horror story of nightmarish proportions. This is one of the few presentations that I hoped to never deliver, but the lack of action by this council has forced a change of plans. 

 According to Janis Karpinski, former and disgraced General charged with overseeing proceeds at Abu Ghraib; ex-Defense Secretary Rumsfeld personally authorized torturous techniques including sleep deprivation, painfully loud music, and uncomfortable positions to stand and sit in for long durations of time by adding a side note to the details of these methods insisting that his underlings “make sure this happens.” This is a violation of the Geneva Conventions which states “Any act by which severe pain or suffering, whether physical or mental, is intentionally inflicted on a person for such purposes as obtaining from him... information or a confession, punishing him for an act he... has committed or is suspected of having committed, or intimidating or coercing him.” Like it or not, this is the law of the land in our country, by mandate of Article VI of the Constitution, because this treaty was ratified by Congress. Rumsfeld eventually took the blame for the atrocities committed at Abu Ghraib, but two attempts he made to resign afterwards were refused by Bush; as the Decider decided that Rumsfeld was the best man for the job. Shouldn’t that trouble us? 

 I wish I could tell you that this is all that has transpired, but the testimony of an ex-prisoner will detail otherwise. The Washington Post shared in May 2004 the story of Mr. Al-Sheik, detainee No. 151362 whom said that his guards told him they’d make him yearn for death but he wouldn’t get it. His horror story continues as he reminisced how he was stripped naked and after a female image was drawn on his back, he was forced to stand in a “shameful position” holding his buttocks as he was told that he and his wife would face sexual assault by the hands of one particular guard. The guards then profanely expressed their contempt for him and his religion. He was warned that he wasn’t getting out healthy, but handicapped instead. He then recalled: "They ordered me to thank Jesus that I'm alive, (but) I said to him, 'I believe in Allah.' So he said, 'But I believe in torture and I will torture you.” None of this is acceptable, but it continues and is apparently supported by this administration. 

 The Guardian reported that Major General Geoffrey Miller, whom oversaw military camps and jails from Guantanamo to Iraq, confirmed that 50-oddly special “interrogation techniques” could be used on detainees, and that his purpose was to extract as much information as possible from the detained. An Executive Order issued in the spring of 2004, was uncovered through the Freedom of Information Act and explicitly authorized commanding officers to utilize sleep deprivation, attack dogs, hoods, loud music, stress positions and the removal of clothing in the interrogation of the detained.  Some took it a step further, desecrating the Quran in front of detainees in more ways than one, including the use of fecal matter. Other techniques involved urinating on the detained, pouring acid on them, the use of a baton to sodomize, tying ropes to their private parts and legs to drag them across the floor, and even forcing them to engage each other sexually.

 When the administration isn’t ordering the use of enhanced interrogation techniques; they authorize the CIA to rendition suspects to countries that condone torture.  Among these nations were Syria, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan...

 The Christian Science Monitor reported, as I mentioned a while back ago, how a Canadian man was in New York en route back to his home country from the Middle East when he was apprehended by our government and then sent to Syria, where he was tortured for almost a year before they released him after determining that they had captured the wrong guy. When the man attempted to sue the Bush Regime for their crimes, they sought to dismiss the case, citing “state secret privilege.” 

 The Washington Post reported how an Arab-German was apprehended in the streets of his home country and sent to Afghanistan where his captors tortured and reportedly told him: “You are here in a country where no one knows about you, in a country where there is no law. If you die, we will bury you, and no one will know.”

 The San Francisco Chronicle reported the Bush Administration’s policy of transporting suspects to Uzbekistan. The troubling thing about this nation is their tendency to implement ruthless tactics such as “beating, often with blunt weapons, and asphyxiation with a gas mask”, but the most discomforting fact comes from knowing a favorite tactic of theirs which involves the practice of boiling a person alive. Two people have reportedly been boiled to death. 

 How can we fight terror with terror? Make no mistake about it; the Geneva Conventions explicitly condemn any leaders, whether military or political, that fails to prevent the use of any illegal practices. If Bush were any other leader of any other country, there’s no doubt in my mind that a widespread call for action would arise from our nation. This is far from everything there is to know, and as long as this council doesn’t act…I’ll be back with more."

Then, after my early departure after speaking where I could actually hear people in the audience and amongst Council actually snickering at the horror stories depicted above, I sent the following e-mail to all members of council upon arriving home:

"The next time I speak at Council, the topic - in yet another 1 1/2 page speech - will be war crimes (other than torture). This will become part of a cycle that will continue from now on, and I don't plan to let up any time soon. I will begin preparations for the speech within the next two weeks, and plan to be as precise as I was tonight.

 Although I wish I could've stayed for the legislation; I hadn't received an agenda (so I was kind of lost as to what was being dealt with) and I was on the verge of losing my mind. Don't think for a second that I am oblivious to the fact that many in attendance and council don't take me seriously. I hear the chuckles and I see the smirks. I'm a joke in the eyes of those that refuse to acknowledge the truth, but I'll be damned if that will stop me.

 The latest I will stay from this point on is the second opportunity for comment. Reason being that I have no interest in the views of public servants. I'm only interested in action. I don't care if the media covers my efforts, and don't expect them to. I don't even care if my voice is ever heard on television, but I DO CARE THAT ACTION IS TAKEN!!

  I gave Council one month with a special (albeit small) offer to rebut every allegation I have lined up against the Bush Regime, but all skeptics failed. Those that ignored my challenge either found it unworthy of their time or realized that they couldn't disprove the preponderance of evidence against the bastards that occupy our Federal Executive Branch. I'm growing angry because of this inaction, because of Council's cowardice!! I'm ashamed to have heard members of council snickering at the details of inhumane treatment that has been documented. This is morally reprehensible!!

 I'll be back in two weeks, with more true/horror stories that the occupied have experienced. I don't give a damn how inconvenient this truth is for anyone in that room, because it is the truth and it must be told. If you find it so offensive, then take action and demand that Congress investigate and Impeach the fascists in control of our government for those crimes!!

 This message is not merely directed at any individual member of council, but the voting body in its entirety. Our country is dwindling down a dark corridor. We are witnessing the systematic dismantling of our constitution and the checks and balances that were installed to protect us from tyranny. We are witnessing war crimes, illegal wars, torture, warrantless domestic spying, censorship of scientific facts, cronyism, treason, bribery, and what seems to be willful incompetence (just to name a few) all in spite of the rule of law. As I said tonight, this can all end with one simple act of council demanding that Reps. Pat Tiberi and Zack Space move to impeach this dangerous regime."

Much to my surprise, when I came home from work today, I read the following e-mail response from Republican Councilman Don Ellington:

"Daniel,

I'll make you a deal. I'll bring it up to move it on to council at the next
service com on Monday. If I can get the votes to move it on to council then
vote yes or no on your proposal will that satisfy you that we have heard you
and taken a vote??? However the vote comes out we will all agree to abide
by it.

"YES. I will be absolutely satisfied. That's all I'm asking. Thank you Councilman Ellington. This is a great service to our country."

As long as he keeps his pledge, and that measure passes the Service Committee, all I have to do is show up and demand action once more whilst thanking them for their consideration..."conservative" Newark, Ohio might join the movement soon!!

 The Democratic Congressional Leadership’s handling of Global Warming appears to be on the verge of becoming worse than the Repugs at handling the crisis. John Dingel of the House has submitted legislation that would override the Supreme Court’s proactive decision that granted the EPA the authority to regulate carbon emissions, it would threaten laws in a number of States across the Union that are already regulating these emissions, and it would capitulate to BOOsh’s position on taking action. WTF? Congress, get your act together…now!!

 As the Regime and the inept Congress continue to fail in taking adequate action to curb Global Warming, the crisis has already begun taking major effect; by speeding up the movement of planetary waves. According to studies, this will cause a major impact on our weather…I couldn’t imagine.

 A governmental “correction” in poverty statistics detailed a major failure in the “war on poverty”. BOOsh’s morally devoid economic and jobs policies have caused the first rise in poverty in a decade and the end of the longest drop therein since records began in the 60s. More children and young working adults have fallen into poverty because of this bastard…how many more?

 By now, you must have heard the story about the woman that died on the floor of the hospital she went to for coughing blood up…I nearly cried when watching the coverage and the heartless responses by the hospital and dispatchers at 9-1-1…this is beyond reprehensible. May God have mercy on those bastards…

 BOOsh recently deprived our scientists of making sincere progress on Stem Cell Research with another veto on experimenting with embryos, and Tony Snow spun and deceived as usual. I find his commentary and justification disturbing: “The President also has never declared it against the law to engage in embryonic stem cell research — he simply thinks it involves, as do many other people, the taking of a human life.” So, he vetoed the bill because he can’t stand the thought of public funds being used to take the life of a fellow human…what the f**k is his deal on the Death Penalty and War then? This Regime is so disconnected from reality that it makes me sick…and if he sincerely feels that way than I want an order of clemency for all federal death row inmates and an end to the war!!

 I’ve been saying for a while that BOOsh despises the poor, and he has only proven my point further in cutting funding to a program created by his father and strengthened by Clinton; AmeriCorps. This successful and dedicated public service that serves the people and exists as an alternative to the military; has done nothing but good for the impoverished and suffering in our country. When disaster strikes, they are there, but BOOsh feels contempt for their mission and has labeled the program wasteful as he seeks to undercut and eradicate it…and this bastard had the nerve to reference the Good Samaritan parable during his first coronation.

 The film “Sicko”, a documentary by Michael Moore that I have anticipated ever since he announced its production about a year and a half ago, has stirred up enough panic and frustration in the Healthcare industry that they are now planning to launch a nationwide counterattack against his documentary…I praise Moore for highlighting this issue. As most readers of my site will know, my family has endured quite enough from our pathetic healthcare system.

 I felt so overjoyed when I watched CNN and saw Kucinich standing beside Maxine Waters, another highly influential Black Caucus member, as she joined the growing list of co-sponsors of H.RES: 333. Thank God for Waters!! Now if only we could get that spent, and mentally lax Charles Rangel to jump on board and stop taking part in the Congressional Democratic Suppression of the Movement!!

 The MSM’s attempts to undercut the impeachment movement (which grew by one state as New Hampshire became the latest to have a resolution under consideration on the matter) by discouraging further efforts with incredibly delusional predictions and fantastical assumptions of the impending future. To these people, the efforts to demand accountability for the crimes of this regime are futile and wasteful, so”what’s the point?” The point is that none of these atrocities should be left unchallenged…demand action now!!

 Much like Hillary, Obama is a little flame that will reveal its true identity in a firestorm…or a mushroom cloud. An article by Obama on foreign affairs lays out his agenda on the military and pre-emptive wars. He wants to expand the former and not only continue the latter, but expand it as well. He holds the position that our nation must “not hesitate to use force, unilaterally if necessary” and “also consider using military force in circumstances beyond self-defense in order to provide for the common security that underpins global stability.” If this doesn’t frighten you, then you must not be reading it with an open mind to any and all outcomes. He’s advocating the continuation of the BOOsh Doctrine as well as taking the next step in openly waging wars against anyone that merely stands in the way of our Empire and its conquest. Democrats…wake the f**k up!!

 Mike Gravel will never receive my vote…why? Well, he’s with Kucinich on just about everything except a few things…he’s insane. A man that says “Congress can do any g*ddamned thing it wants” is a threat to our constitution. The man feels as if the Constitution isn’t very democratic at all, but seems to ignore all of the safeguards provided within to make the government more accountable to the Republic. The only Undemocratic elements of our constitution are the “suspension of Habeas Corpus during an insurrection” and the Electoral College…period. The man has actually advocated an act of Congress to label BOOsh and Lord Cheney as criminals…an act that is explicitly prohibited in the Constitution. Kucinich really is the only viable option.

 As mentioned before, Hillary scares me. Apparently, others agree, at least on her deceiving nature, that she is WRONG for our country. I’ll be the first to admit that I would love to see a black, woman, Hispanic, or even a Native American President…but this campaign isn’t and shouldn’t ever be about gender, ethnicity, religion, etc. It should always be about the agenda of each candidate. Hillary was booed at a recent progressive conference because she attempted to shift blame for the failed occupation to the government elected by the people of Iraq. This is not entirely their fault. I can’t even comprehend how she could ignore the failures of the BOOsh Regime and claim that the quagmire has been disastrous because of the government that the occupied chose to represent them…you are pathetic, Hillary, and I pray my fellow Americans realize the threat you pose to peace and prosperity!!

 Former Lobbyist, U.S. Senator and Law & Order actor, Fred Thompson has a proposal to cut taxes for corporations…again…in order to make us “more competitive” in the world. He claims that we have the highest corporate tax rates in the world, although over 80 corporations have paid have had at least one or more years tax-free during the tenure of BOOsh…Thompson is no “outsider”…he’s all wrapped up in it!!

 Senator Samuel Brownback manipulated the emotions of a congregation to advocate against standing up for a rape victim’s right to an abortion. That’s all I can say…I hate fundamentalism…

 I haven’t been able to put up with Dennis Miller since I discovered his political allegiance a few years ago. Faux News hired the cretin to a spot as a “comedian pundit” to sling out bad insults at those he disagrees with. He claimed that Sen. Reid was irrelevant because he was “unattractive” (pot calling the kettle black), whiny and annoying (is Miller really a pot in disguise?), bleak (kind of defines that political brand he represents), and irrelevant (okay, I will call him Dennis McPot or Potty Miller)…just more evidence regarding this so-called “unbiased” channel’s position as BOOsh’s primary media-phone.

 Jonah Goldberg, a conservative columnist that I have grown to resent more and more every time I’ve had to read his blatant manipulation and suppression of the truth; it makes me want to regurgitate. However, his recent spout of vitriol on public schooling just turns my stomach. He has taken the position of shutting down all or most public schools because the system is basically too demanding and too controlled by the government. What is it that he is trying to say? Is he seriously proposing that we shut down the public school system…in favor of what? An educational industry, operated by private institutions? Who could afford such a thing? What is it about educating children that the right hates so much?

 While the state of Wyoming will be looking for the replacement to the late-Senator Craig Thomas (R), one possibility is that Lord Cheney’s wife will join the effort to succeed him…God Help Us…btw, this doesn’t have to be a Repug…according to one professor…

 In the ongoing congressional investigation of the illegal purge of U.S. Attorneys for political reasons, the Senate and House Judiciary committees issued subpoenas to two former BOOsh Regime minions, but the dictator is refusing to permit their compliance and cites “executive privilege”.  How can Congress conduct oversight if the Executive Branch has some vast “right” to hide potentially damaging information from them? Honestly…

 For all their railings against illegal immigrant workers and certain work visas that rob American jobs; the Repugs – at least in California – aren’t practicing what they preach. Apparently, the California Party has been hiring non-citizens to reach out to voters and even hire new workers for their little establishment. How in the world can someone that doesn’t have the right to vote be a key official in a political party?

 Attorney General Gonzales may have committed perjury, obstruction of justice and may have attempted to compare “recollections” to test how each testimony would resonate with Congress…it is becoming difficult to keep up with this man’s disdain for the law…what a great “Attorney General”.

 In an effort to avert another Jim Webb-George Allen moment where idiot Repugs are caught in the middle of bigoted comments and exposed for what they really are; a memo has started to circulate within the inner-Repug circles, advising them to campaign with the assumption that they are being recorded, and to always record their opponents to dig dirt up on them…this is so sad. When any party or other group has to advise members to watch what they say, maybe it’s time to clean house.

 Don’t ever seek advice from Mitt Romney when considering an abortion. According to an old associate of his, Romney once scolded a woman whom had to contemplate an abortion to save her life by saying “Well, why do you get off easy when other women have their babies?” He didn’t care that she had blood clots during said pregnancy and was a mother to four children…to him; she should’ve risked her life. How can anyone even seriously justify anyone telling another that they must die…especially in this case?

 The Dictator recently interfered with the federal lawsuits by investors that suffered from Enron’s crimes when he personally spoke of his opposition to the federal government standing by the victims in these suits (now before the Supreme Court)…then, with his thoughts in mind, the Securities and Exchange Commission decided to capitulate to him…

 There’s a certain line that can be crossed by the biased MSM, but when the talking heads of our cable news start saying stuff that compliments…almost obsessively…on how a candidate smells, it borders weirdness…observe the following comments by Chris Matthews on the aroma of Fred Thompson: “Can you smell the English leather on this guy, the Aqua Velva, the sort of mature man‘s shaving cream, or whatever, you know, after he shaved? Do you smell that sort of—a little bit of cigar smoke?” Isn’t that nice?

 In the latest edition of “what comes around goes around”, Senator Trent Lott whined about the influence of Neoconservative hacks like Limbaugh on the ignorant people that buy into their every word without even attempting double fact check it…the beast that you morons fed and benefited from has finally come back to bite you…hard…LMAO!!

 When an “administration” lies so much that it loses the capability to keep track of those deceptions, then we face a serious problem…observe the following contradicting statements on the terminations of Federal Prosecutors for political reasons: (March 15th) “It’s pretty clear that these things are based on performance and not on sort of attempts to do political retaliation” and (June 13th) “…we have never said that (politics was not involved)..” Consistent dishonesty can weave a very tangled web…a lesson to be learned…

 Some may feel tempted to inquire why I distrust the Mainstream Media (MSM), especially Fox News (Faux). The reason is that these people have helped circulate and generate the lie about a liberal media bias, they have touted the policies of the right, denounced those of the left and refuse to even seriously question the methodology of just about anything perpetrated by this Regime. They post false stories about those they hate and often let those falsehoods slip through the cracks. The demonizing of Democrats sickens me, especially when these assholes repeatedly claim that we Liberals have no true faith in God at all!! Do a little research and you’ll discover just how right-biased and entwined with the policymakers these people are. The internet is a miracle blessing, because it grants us all access to more info than that which is provided by the rich and powerful propaganda machine. This is the primary reason that the right wants to deregulate the internet and permit their propaganda horde to seize control of the information super highway…suppression of the truth is key to the rise of an Authoritarian.

 During a debate on the use of earmarks/pork in Congress, Rep. Don Young (R) professed his undying love for all earmarks as long as “they’re uncovered”. I disagree with ALL earmarks. If a provision/section of any bill isn’t relevant to that bill then it shouldn’t be included within, period. I’m ashamed of the Democratic Congress for not extinguishing this practice…

 Our nation faces many threats, but most highly respected members of our society as well as historical and constitutional scholars will agree that our greatest threat lies within. PBS, a public/government funded station recently aired a program produced by a rightwing company with the intent of misleading all of its viewers into believing that our Founders never intended for there to be a wall of separation between religion and politics. This is a dangerous misrepresentation of the truth, and this deceit can be debunked or otherwise discredited by a simple search for the facts. The Founders knew there was a need to separate our government from religion to protect liberty, the people, and religion itself. This is nothing less than a theocratic attempt to spin history to represent their views and rob us of our freedoms.

 According to one report, the number of laws that BOOsh has overridden with his addendums (signing statements) now number closely to 1100. Even worse, the administration has recently lashed out claiming that these statements should be taken seriously, because “they are real”…unconscionable. It’s simply inexcusable that Congress hasn’t taken action yet…

 Here’s an interesting little fact; Rudy Giuliani’s South Carolina Campaign Chairman was recently indicted on charges relating to the distribution of cocaine…what a way to set and lead by example!!

 A long needed civil rights bill passed the House recently with only the opposition of two congressmen, including Ron Paul…this is part of why he will never get my vote…how can anyone conscientiously vote against a measure that would allow prosecutions on civil rights crimes to finally receive attention as millions of dollars will be allocated for that purpose? He may be right on Iraq and Habeas Corpus, but he is dead wrong everywhere else.

 I am proud to announce, that as of June 22^nd, 2007; Newsweek’s poll unveiled a new low for BOOsh’s rating of approval which now stands at 26% and just three percentage points above the worst rated occupant of that office ever; Richard Nixon. Keep up the good work, and maybe you’ll disenchant enough people to break another negative record…

 It’s a shame when a leading Repug Candidate to become the Hypocrite-in-Chief lashes out at those that appease the lobbyists in their legislative acts while maintaining the most lobbyists in his campaign staff out of all announced candidates for Prez…”Straight Talk Express” my ass…

 BOOsh has took another step setting new precedents in his constant quest to expand the powers of his and Cheney’s office; he did so by declaring that an executive order he issued in 2003 that required “government agencies that handle classified national security information to submit to oversight by an independent federal watchdog” doesn’t apply to him and Cheney. This is beyond ridiculous…he is essentially saying that everyone but he and Cheney have to disclose their activities to a watch agency…this is abuse of power, plain and simple.

 The tough rhetoric of Iran’s suicidal President and the American Fuhrer threaten peace and stability more and more these days. Ahmadinejad proclaims that a clock is ticking away, counting down to the destruction of UN-Created Israel as BOOsh’s PNAC crazies (many of whom may be attending an influential group’s conference where a book about confronting Iran will be presented) continue to hold incredible influence in foreign policy. Both should to be ousted…by their own people…for the sake of our planet!!

 Joe Lieberman just makes me sick every time I am forced to see that deceitful cocksucker of his spewing the lies of BOOsh’s minions in an attempt to fear monger our nation into more, unjust, pre-emptive, imperial conquests. I wish someone would paintbrush every moron in Connecticut that kept this threat to Global Stability!!

 Giuliani is a threat to our Republic. He botched the response on 9/11 and then exploits the tragedy to bolster his public image…now he’s flipping about like a fish out of water to find himself and his platform…this is why our system is in bad need of reform…ASAP.

 Responding to demands by Colin Powell that Guantanamo Bay Prison shut down ASAP, Repug Prez Candidate, Mike Huckabee spoke in opposition to the demand, suggesting that American inmates would LOVE to be imprisoned their. Is Mike serious, lying, or is he just completely out-of-touch with reality? Maybe he should do some research into the religious oppression of those imprisoned, the denial of Habeas Corpus, and the circumvention of international law…

 During a recent press briefing when questioned on the crimes at Guantanamo, Tony Snow shot back and inquired if the reporter was seriously suggesting that a crime against democracy may have been committed at the infamous camp. This is a serious wake up call for our society; if you haven’t figured out by now how disconnected from the truth this Regime and overall line of thinking really are; then you never will. Indefinite detention without the right to Habeas Corpus is – in fact – a crime against democracy, civility, and the world.

 In an overlooked turn of events, BOOsh signed into law and amendment to the Insurrection Act that enables his ability to declare “martial law”, thus deploying federal troops on American soil to suppress “public disorder”. This is just the next step in his mission to silence us “disruptors” and quell our right to dissent and peaceable assembly!!

 The Chairman of the “Connecticut for Lieberman Party” created by Joe when he lost the Democratic Primary last year has asked the Senator to resign for warmongering and posing a threat to global stability. LMAO!!

 Whilst referencing to “24” and the tough tactics depicted to track down terrorists and curb their intentions from materializing, Justice Antonin Scalia asked if our justice system would or even should convict “Jack Bauer” for violating the rules to “save lives”. This is demagoguery…plain and simple. A Justice in the Supreme Court using a biased program that depicts torture positively in order to defend BOOsh policies…I am so ashamed…

 Last November, I opted to write-in a candidate for the US Senate instead of casting a vote for either Incumbent Mike DeWine or his opponent, Sherrod Brown. I took this action to stand in opposition to Brown’s decision to ignorantly choose politics over the constitution in voting in favor of the War Commissions Act. The man redeemed himself to an extent when recently acknowledging that he was wrong in this decision. To completely fulfill his redemption, my Senator must take the next step in aggressively pushing for the passage of the Constitutional Restoration Act. Thanks Sherrod for taking this initial step back to sanity.

 Last Winter – the “winter” that we barely remember for the unseasonable appearance it brought – BOOsh helped – illegally – bring down the Somali Regime, but now those that wield power over Ethiopia and Somalia are and have reportedly been committing numerous crimes against all the people they occupy, but yet, the State Department refused to consider and label them as a “Terrorist Organization”. That was the policy until this group attacked an oil field in the region which prompted the following: “American officials (said) the rebels had not threatened civilians or American interests.”But after the oil field attack in April,” said one American official who spoke on the condition of anonymity, “we are reassessing that.” Hmm, so even though atrocities were being committed on a wide scale, including gang-rapes and village pillaging, it took an attack on an area containing oil to prompt their reconsideration. Those that ignorantly don’t think our Military goes after enemies that threaten or possess valuable interests are willfully blind and flat out wrong!!

 I’ve heard some stupid and whack stuff before, but this one really takes the cake: The Pentagon recently unveiled a few interesting details on how they plan to spend approximately 9 billion dollars of their budget…on experimental weaponry and gear that include: a suit that would render a soldier invisible, a device that would work as a mental and physical stimulant to suppress the need to sleep for any number of days, and arming sharks with an unspecified chemical implant and cameras to spy on the enemy…but that’s not all, these geniuses even seriously considered and confirmed reports that they almost drew up plans to develop a “gay bomb” that would purportedly alter the targets hormones, turning them homosexual and theoretically leading to an increased interest in sex over fighting…LMAO!!! I wonder why Robert Gates wants to turn the “enemy” gay. Does BOOsh plan to fulfill his dreams and utilize it on Bin-Laden?

 It has been reported that the dictator has made the shut down of Guantanamo Bay Prison a priority (mostly to deflect anymore criticism on the matter), but there are a number of hurdles to overcome to achieve this objective. He must convince Lord Cheney that it’s a good idea to bring these “evildoers” to the US, even though their natural human right to Habeas Corpus will be near unavoidable if they are too avoid more scrutiny by critics. Also, some detainees would just be shipped to camps in Afghanistan, so there is little change coming, just a camp shut down and the relocation of the victims of injustice.

 Who would’ve thought that in 2007, roughly 1/5 of the world’s refugees would be from the desolated province of Iraq? The United Nations has warned that the number of Iraqis seeking out refuge could jump to a staggering five million very soon, as approximately 2 million more people have been displaced by the turmoil in what used to be their country. How is this excusable?

 In defense of his network’s position as a propagandist for BOOsh that does everything it can to suppress negative coverage of the occupation, in response to a study that concluded Faux News only covered the Occupation less than 10 percent of the time in the first quarter of this year compared to well over twice and three times that much with CNN and MSNBC, O’Reilly noted that the report lacked credibility because the author “hated Fox”, and that Faux was vindicated for a number of reasons including; “constant coverage gives one the sense that war is hell”, “no one wants to see daily bombing coverage in their news” and that ”Fox is beating the other two in the ratings anyway”…great defense there bud.

 National Public Radio recently aired a report that unveiled a plan by Hillary to keep troops in the Province of Iraq for another decade if she is elected in both 2008 and 12’. She had reportedly told a pentagon official this in private, and likely didn’t plan on it getting out in the open. It is time to hold the insincere accountable for their deceit, and rob them of their quest for higher office!!

 Major General Taguba recently discussed his investigation into the scandal at Abu Ghraib and revealed that when he tried to look into any involvement by top-level officials, his efforts were restrained…hmmm…

 A classic and inspirational love story is about to be ripped apart by our government. A woman from the Dominican Republic illegally entered this country to pursue the man she fell in love with. They married and he was deployed to Iraq. Her husband is now missing in action over in the Imperial Province as she faces deportation…talk about insult to injury…

 BOOsh’s minion Prime Minister of Iraq (Al-Maliki) was successful in pushing for the passage of a law that bans the recording/broadcasting of bomb sites…what are they trying to hide?

 In the midst of this chaotic and crumbling occupation, those operating have taken on a new tactic…arming insurgents as long as they fight al-Qaeda…sound crazy? If so, then I believe we have a consensus…BOOsh needs to go now…this is officially treason.

 China’s monster trade surplus continues to serve as evidence that the Chinese government is purposely undervaluing their currency in order to rip off trade partners. One has to wonder what will come of this…what is the regime in Beijing doing with this extra profit? Regardless of their intentions, this isn’t fairing well for our nation…as the beast that is this King of the East gets bigger and fiercer.

 More proof in the pudding that BOOsh is either acting stupid or really hasn’t a clue. The man conducted two press conferences recently on an unpopular proposal for a deadline on Kosovo’s Independence. In the first one he said this: “In terms of the deadline, there needs to be one. This needs to come — this needs to happen.” However, the very next day, a reporter inquired whether the proposal for a deadline posed a threat to worsen relations with Russia, to which BOOsh replied: “I don’t think I called for a deadline. I thought I said, time — I did? What exactly did I say? I said, “deadline”? Okay, yes, then I meant what I said.” Is this a laugh-your-ass-off moment, or a pray to God that this idiot doesn’t get us into a war with Russia because of his unwavering incompetence? Seriously, maybe Rove should supply him with a DVD containing his statements before the press, so he doesn’t make an ass of himself anymore…LOL

 It’s pathetic that BOOsh has to cross the Atlantic, and go to a second-world country in order to be mugged by “adoring” fans that obviously know no better. They appear to be so enamored by the Dictator because of his “tough stance” (read above statements) on Kosovo, but they are no doubt ignorant to all the travesties committed by him and his regime. These people have not knowingly yet been directly impacted by his policies of global domination, so what else could be expected. The frightening aspect of this Kosovo debate is the threat it poses to our ruffled up relations with Putin’s Russia. Maybe then, these people will see the truth.

 As Palestine falls apart more and more, it is tragic to see this path to Palestinian Civil War. Mahmoud Abbas, the Fatah leader and President of the Palestinian Authority, dissolved the torn government of Palestine in the aftermath of an angry uprise wherein the majority Hamas took over the Gaza Strip. Now with Gaza in Hamas’ hands and Fatah controlling the West Bank, the Middle East tumultuous situation worsens…

Tonight's Conclusion - Amendments to "Ideas for Public Service"

 Not too long ago, I shared with you my ideas for public service. Well, as promised, I've amended those ideas and included the following:

"(Amending #2) All candidates (for job applications) must meet the supervisor in charge of handling applications for final decision on choice. Labor department should send copy of reports to the candidate/employee.

(Amending #36) d) Install a system where the populace would get to evaluate the performance for each of their respective representatives at the “halfway mark” (mid-term) election day of said official’s tenure in a referendum.    

37)      Create Presidential Nominal Advisory Committees or “Advisory Committees on Presidential Nominations” that would exist as an Extra-Cabinet Executive Branch Group charged with the power - as a nonpartisan establishment – to research and further review all probable options of the best candidates to be nominated for every position in the cabinet.

38)      Establish Separate Minimum Wage Standards for minors and adults. Lower the wage for all minors (to be defined as workers under 17 ½ years old) to 5.15/hr and work on establishing a “living wage” standard for the minimum wage, attaching it to the Consumer Price Index, the Poverty Rate, and individual company profits. Create safeguards to protect adults from losing jobs to minors due to the difference in standards, including: a) a limit on the amount of minors per employer, based on profit, employee needs and available hours. b) a limit of 20 hours a week, annually, for all minors. The only exceptions for this difference in standards would apply when a minor is married and/or has a dependent.

39)      Legalize marijuana and regulate it like the Agricultural Industry.

40)      Propose a UN Resolution and affirming US Law that would essentially create a Democratic Watchdog Agency where experts/officials from three separate nations would monitor the entire election process across the country to ensure that the system works for the people.

41)      Set up restrictions on candidates in running for office, prohibiting the campaign for any office if said candidate currently holds a different elected office than the one they seek.

42)      Mandate Environmental Caretaking;

             a)  All Public responsible and complicit for litter that they are either seen dispersing of and/or walking past (within 5 feet of trash) and not taking care of.

             b)  All Private Citizens responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of their property.

             c)  Mandate that environmental clean-up be included as a regular duty for all police personnel not presently tending to the needs of citizens.

             d)  Mandate that all elected officials clean-up the environment at least 37 days of the year.

43) Mandate Recycling.

44) Create an “Earmarks” Oversight Counsel, consisting of all federal prosecutors, alongside a constitutional expert for every prosecutor.

45) Establish a federal “Issue Survey” that would serve as an avenue of communication between the populace and their federal government.

46) Establish a partnership with the media and internet providers to host a biweekly forum for the populace to directly address the President over a 3 hour discussion. The discussion would include a chat room and video inquiries, where all participants would elect a moderator from amongst themselves. No one person could serve as a moderator more than once in a presidential term. The moderator would be charged with the authority to choose who speaks directly to president and the duty to relay select questions from the chat room to president. No one inquirer can pose a question via any method more than once in a presidential term.

47) Create a 25% Tax Deduction for Innovative Inventors:

                           a) for basic/standard inventions = 5 years

                           b) for Environmentally friendly inventions = 10 years

                           c) for Militarily beneficial inventions = 10 years

                           d) for Non-Lethal Military inventions = 15 years

                           e) for inventions that work to advance efforts for peace = Lifetime

48) Create Pro-Life Tax Deductions:

                           a) for choosing adoption = 18 years

                           b) for choosing parenting = 18 years

                           c) for using contraceptives = deductions on college tuition

                           d) for choosing to adopt = 20 years

49) Introduce more benefits for military families:

                           a) 50% tuition coverage for all immediate family (spouse, children) of career servicemen and women.

                           b) 15% tuition coverage for all immediate family of military volunteers.

50) Establish an “Inmate Draft” for all felons except 1^st Degree Murderers and all sex offenders. To ensure their compliance, each drafted felon would be assigned to a private as a supervisor. As a bonus, each participant would receive “time served” status once military service and trustworthiness evaluation are complete.

51) Prohibit the denial of any treatment or procedure to any patient with the exception of initial (not correctional) plastic/”vanity” surgery.

52) Create an alternative to insurance companies: an option for the patient of agreeing to allow “additional procedural witnesses” (lawyers, family, and other medical personnel) to be present during procedures in order to protect the (patient and doctor) from (medical malpractice or lawsuits)."

 In other somewhat related news, I am working fervently on drafting a petition to amend the Ohio Constitution in relation to Section D of #36 on the salaries of elected officials. Here's hoping...

 If BOOsh seriously aims to seek a solution to global warming, then why did he cut funding to NASA’s surveillance of the climate change and then instruct these scientists to focus their attention on weather forecasts instead of the climate changes overall? In the recent G8 summit, BOOsh and the rest of these top world leaders came to an agreement on a NON-BINDING promise to reduce carbon emissions by whatever means they see fit. That’s right…they have essentially chose to pander to the corporate hacks that pollute over doing what is necessary to save our planet!!

 Day after day of watching CNN; I’ve been bombarded with hate-filled rhetoric regarding the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill. I don’t agree with the implementation of a National ID – as included within the bill – and am quite concerned with an array of potential dangers posed to this nation by other unnoticed agreements surrounding the matter, but I do agree that this bill would help – by a small degree - to resolve this problem. I’m tired of hearing Lou Dobbs rant on about how much of a threat the illegals pose to our country (seemingly ignoring the fact that our government has overlooked the root causes of this situation for quite some time), even misleading his viewers regarding a connection between illegal immigrants and leprosy. These are people, most of whom want to improve their living standards, not to disconnect the so-called “white, Christian power structure”! The intent of these people is nothing less than understandable and honest (with the exception that they broke the law coming here and concealing their illegal entry by stealing identities, but the bill punishes them for part of that). For the love of God, lets resolve this now and move on to holding the Dictator accountable for his crimes and to actually taking steps to improve our environment!!

 In an effort to do a favor for some corporate masters, the Dictator has demanded that a small meatpacking company refrain from testing 100% of their product for bacteria (i.e. Mad Cow) out of concern on the so-called ramifications it could pose for the entire industry. Apparently, the Department of Agriculture presently mandates about 1 percent of all meat products to receive the test, but BOOsh’s minions are now wailing that this small company poses a serious threat in that they could test their entire product and then advertise it as “safer” than others…boo hoo. This is reprehensible…morally, ethically and administratively!

 BOOsh and company are proposing cuts to the Survey on Income and Program Participation, a tool used to monitor the effectiveness of entitlement programs in helping to help advance the progress of our battle against poverty. The bastard just continues to display how much disdain he has for the impoverished…

 As we continue to edge closer and closer to the finalization of our nation’s transition to an Authoritarian Fascist Police State; reports have come out that some credible sources close to BOOsh found the man “nearly wild-eyed, thumping himself on the chest three times while (repeating the phrase) “I am the president!” (and then making) it clear he was setting Iraq up so his successor could not get out of “our country’s destiny.” I’d say that the urgency to oust this son of a bitch just elevated beyond our worst nightmares…

 We in the impeachment movement (that has been growing in support incredibly as of late, including new co-sponsors for H.Res. 333) can find comfort in knowing that the House Judiciary Chairman supports our efforts, but because of a probable deal made with the House Speaker in order to secure his seat in the Judiciary Committee, Conyers is encouraging us to push harder and more forcefully in demanding congressional proceeds to impeach the regime…thank you Conyers for your spiritual support!

 While attempting to pressure the ailing John Ashcroft to sign on to the Domestic Surveillance Program (by dispatching Andrew Card and Alberto Gonzales to the man’s bedside), the Dictator almost lost 30 Justice Department leaders to a wave of resignations, roughly the entire leadership of that bureaucracy!! Talk about a shutdown in governance!!

 The Dictator is actively obstructing Congress from finalizing their efforts to affirm the Constitution and FISA by means of assuring that existing law is the only means by which the government can conduct surveillance on its citizenry. He has prevented the final passage of the measure by delaying his compliance with the Senate Judiciary Committee following their request of relevant documents related to the surveillance program to go through with a review and final recommendations on legislation…could we have expected anything less?

 I am always sickened to hear of corrupt officials in government, and that especially includes any disclosure of evidence regarding Democratic members. Congressman William Jefferson has been indicted on enough charges of corruption to imprison him for “over 200 years”. If he is guilty, which it is likely, he will and should be remembered as a disgrace to our government and a scar in our short history, and apparently the leadership in Congress has already reprimanded him for his misdeeds.

 In a reprehensible turn of events, the so-called Majority in Congress folded to the will of the minority’s base in supporting “Abstinence-only-until-marriage” funding to ultra-religious programs that will proselytize and mislead their targets (up to 29 years of age) to pressure them into submission and possible conversion. This is a betrayal of massive proportions…did we really change course with the last election or just merely change the label of those in charge?

 Although the law requires the government to disclose all visitor logs to the public when requested, Darth Cheney has refused to comply with one such request, insisting that these records solely belong to him, not the public. Apparently, this may be an attempt to cover up more practices of this regime in contravention of existing law pertaining to meetings and negotiations…

 A republican federal prosecutor retired last year, but was actually targeted for the Attorney Purge because he was more concerned for the endangered voting rights of Natives than pursuing “voter fraud” cases…I was unaware that the administration could direct attorneys to pursue any case…isn’t it the interests of the public and not the government that they serve anyhow?

 It is my sad duty to relay recently uncovered reports that due to lost interest and disenchantment in their cause – thus leading to a drop in funding – the GOP will have to lay off some phone-bankers…aww

 McCain has apparently been twisting himself so much that he’s squeezed the life out of his campaign. He hasn’t the compassion for the national seat he seeks, and even – reportedly – lacks any true connection with religious folk. Hmm, and this guy thinks he is going to get further than next year’s primary season? Wait…we are talking about the Repugs here…

 We must stand up and demand stricter regulations on monopolies, because the prospect and near inevitability of Murdoch running the Wall Street Journal as another outlet of propaganda is too frightening.

 For those that deny the control wielded by the media in the election process; I invite you to look into statistics regarding how much airtime the pundits garner, compared to the candidates they interview, especially during the debates. Wouldn’t it be more productive for expanding our knowledge on the stances taken by our candidates if they were given more time than those posing debate questions? This isn’t just reserved for Democrats, but Repugs as well…we must end this influence…

 For all his trouble in helping to expose the identity of a covert agent, Lewis Libby received a pathetic 30 months. Repugs have the nerve to scream out that this was excessive punishment, but if this had been any private citizen, we all know the sentence would’ve been much worse.

 I am now completely disenchanted by Ron Paul’s deceitful message. A man that I had genuinely believed was the last hope of the Repugs has been exposed for the racist he really is. Observe the following comments by Paul himself during various campaign messages to supporters: “our country is being destroyed by a group of actual and potential terrorists -- and they can be identified by the color of their skin.” Paul, you have lost my support.

 In the midst of an insane special election to replace a recently deceased Repug in the House of Representatives, one of the Repugs running to replace the man has been viciously slinging allegations that Democrats and Left-wing 527s have been registering illegal immigrants and members of al-Qaeda to vote for us. This psychotic nimrod got his information from faulty and retracted reports here in Ohio…this is beyond insane…this is dangerous.

 I honestly believe that any and all members of Congress under investigation for ethics violations shouldn’t be permitted to vote on any measures pertaining to ethics during said investigation, but until that changes occurs, these people are able to take part in helping Congress decide what standards should apply to them…it’s like allowing a bank robber to make policy decisions on security in the banking industry…this is absurd!

 Mitt Romney is not to be trusted. This man seems to be willing to do anything he can to obtain power. His lies regarding the International Atomic Energy Agency and Hussein during the last debate were so incredible that it astonishes me how even Wolf Blitzer let it go unchallenged. Why would any sane person support him? Then again, who in their right mind would support any of these jackasses?

 Right-winger and a highly influential fundamentalist recently stated that Christians should not call for everyone to participate in the democratic process when he said: “I don’t want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down.” So a leader in the religious right is advocating a position for all Christians to actively discourage undesirables from voting…this is precisely why church and state must remain separate.

 In a turn of events that really should concern all Americans especially regarding the crumbling wall between church and state, BOOsh has nominated an extremist-fundamentalist that advocates a “cure” for homosexuality to be the next Surgeon General. I am a Christian and I do believe it is sinful to partake in homosexual activities (as it is also sinful to do anything out of lust), but the fact of the matter is that we are not permitted – as Christians – to ridicule our neighbors for their private choices in life, because it is frowned upon by God. This is just one more step in our walk towards including “theocracy” within the fabric of our system of governance.

 Following his expression of discontent with the current set of Repugs campaigning for Prez as a precursor for his own pursuit of that same office; Newt Gingrich offered a slight preview of what he would do to the detriment of our great land and our children’s future: “he would shut down public schools that aren't performing and offer a $20 billion reward for the first private company that successfully completes a Mars mission.” What the hell is it with Mars that the Repugs just can’t stop creaming themselves over? Maybe that’s where they came from originally…lol. Cut schools while paying 20 billion dollars to a private corporation for some pointless trip to Mars…I guess we know where this guy’s priorities lie. It certainly isn’t with the future of our children. Let me put it this way, educational experts agree that smaller classrooms benefit the student and teacher greatly, but shutting down “ineffective” (poor schools) would no doubt force those displaced students into crowded classes, thus leading to a dwindling quality of their education…genius. I guess that’s how these guys plan on maintaining their influence over government, by keeping us all poorly informed!!

 Giuliani is a very frightening individual that possesses a mentality regarding executive authority that may very well disembowel our system altogether. At the offset of 9/11, Rudy proposed that the law be suspended and he be permitted to serve as Mayor for an additional three months after his term expired…how in the hell can we trust that he wouldn’t exploit another tragedy to do the same as President?!!

 As a Christian, I am appalled by war and the consequences it holds for the less fortunate. Nothing good ever really comes from war. People claim that the pacification of Japan was a good example, but when you look into it, fear was instilled in their hearts, fear of war and all it has to offer. They wanted (and still want) nothing more to do with mass slaughter of their innocents from just two bomb drops. My opposition to military conflict also comes in large part from my biblical beliefs in peace, love and forgiveness. This is why I can’t seriously comprehend how any so-called Christian could be praying for a war with Iran…or even the use of nuclear weapons to settle the score…this is beyond insane.

 For all their rhetoric about how we peace advocates are unpatriotic and are endangering the nation by emboldening our enemies with our demands for an end to this madness, Repugs sure like to embrace terror as a means for rallying the people around their agenda. The new Repug chair of the Arkansas State Party suggested that all we’d need to “come to our senses” and return to BOOsh’s side is another attack on our soil…talk about emboldening the enemy.

 A Guantanamo-based War Commissions Judge chose to dismiss charges that had been compiled against a Canadian. The ruling – according to the judge – threatens the illegal Commissions system that BOOsh ordered the Repug Congress to install after the Supreme Court overthrew the previous system. This also threatens BOOsh’s plans on how to deal with everyone else detained at that base in Cuba, because not one of those in detention has been officially labeled as an enemy combatant. What does this mean for everyone else the Regime holds in contravention to international law?

 I watched the Repugs debate the issue of possibly using tactical nukes on Iran with horror and utter dismay. Rudy Giuliani – a man that continues to scare me more and more each day – used misleading comments to justify such an attack (endorsed by a majority of all ten on stage). I can’t believe the utilization of nuclear weapons is seriously being contemplated!!! Nukes were meant as a deterrent to war, not as serious tactical weapons! It is obvious that these nutcases lack foresight and critical thought of the long-term ramifications a nuclear attack in the region poses for global stability…need I mention that China, North Korea and Russia all align themselves with Iran?

 In his never-ending quest to advocate a permanent occupation or major military dominance in the Province of Iraq; the Dictator expressed – through his mouthpiece, aka Tony Snow – that he wanted the Post-Occupation Iraq to be much like South Korea since the Armistice in 1953, with a large US military presence to prevent anarchy…what a way to spell this out for us all. Of course, his comparison is historically inaccurate in many ways, but the message is clear; this occupation will NOT end any time soon…maybe not within the duration of most of our lives.

 I recently read a short story about an Iraq Occupation Veteran that had come home and was so disturbed by his experiences that he was completely disconnected from his wife and children, lost sleep and sadly hung himself shortly thereafter…the government needs to do more to help all our veterans and those that are still deployed (many of whom feel a strong sense of disillusionment towards a mission that has failed miserably under the management of an out of control regime), the best avenue being an end to this tumultuous occupation!! You know that we should be concerned with the proceedings in the Empire when individual services for servicemen have been canceled in favor of more convenient monthly services for all the soldiers that die within a particular month…things are just way out of hand now…

 The Prime Minister of Iraq, Nouri Al-Maliki – whom had stated last fall that his forces would be ready by this month, thus enabling an Occupational withdrawal and now the President of Iraq is claiming it will be just in time for BOOsh’s departure - has indicated in recent commentary that he actually has some fears of a future coup to overthrow him by the security forces. The Sectarian Civil War rages on…and maybe way past this fall as noted by McCain…even if they have to justify it with more manipulation of the facts.

 BTW, a little update for my former funny repug friend, Mikel Bonin, a new report from our government has come out further confirming the covert status of Valerie Plame Wilson’s identity when this Regime unveiled her identity to Robert Novak in order to retaliate for what Amb. Joe Wilson disclosed regarding his findings upon visit Niger before the infamous 2003 Dictation to the Nation…told ya so…hell more has been disclosed further detailing BOOsh’s involvement in this act of treason!!

 More and disturbing details have surfaced from yet another damning book regarding the purposeful deception of the American people to gain their support for a campaign into Iraq. One noted conversation depicts the mindset of the Regime in the lead up to war when two officials discuss the likelihood of discovering WMDs and what they had to do to get BOOsh what he wanted…snapshots of V for Vendetta and 1984 stream through my head…

 A recent report on the insurgency in Iraq has detailed how the terrorist fighters within the rebellion have dispatched members to other parts of the world apparently to utilize their battle experience against the Empire in possibly training other willing and impressionable fighters. I guess this just demolished the argument by the Regime that “taking the fight to them” was making us safer in the long run…LMAO!!

 I was saddened to see the “resignation” of Cindy Sheehan from the Anti-War/Peace/Impeachment movement. This is a woman so open-minded, so brave, that she not only took the dictator on face to face, but also lashed out against cowardly Democrats in Congress for not doing the same thing. It absolutely infuriates me that fellow “lefties” started to label this hero as an “attention whore” and bid “good riddance” to her. By her even implying that this was the politest comments got from the left just sickens me. We are not neoconservatives that believe anyone acting against our popular party is a traitor to the overall cause. We are liberals, progressives, Democrats for all of the positive aspects of those labels. We always welcome dissent as evidence of open-mindedness, social progress and free speech. I offer a sincere prayer for Cindy and her family and thank her wholeheartedly for all that she has endured…for peace and justice!!

 Never should we ignore the plight of innocents in any situation, especially in a deadly and botched occupation. It has been estimated that over 1,900 Iraqi civilians met their death in May. This is inexcusable and exists as the continuing evidence for why we need to END THIS NOW!!

 Douglas Lute, the new scapegoat for BOOsh’s imperial conquests whom suggests that the occupation of Iraq is only a step in controlling the entire Middle East, confirmed reports that he had seriously cast doubt on the overall effectiveness of the escalation BOOsh ordered earlier this year. The fact of the matter is this; it was partially irrelevant to even note this because BOOsh doesn’t sincerely consider criticism; just look at all of those in his regime that have been expelled due to their tendency to seriously differ from or other offer advice to BOOsh on any issue. It’s his way or no way…that’s the art of dictatorship.

 The Iraqi Parliament voted to take a step towards ending the occupation of their country, and although the BOOsh favored Prime Minister may veto it the fact is that this is further proof that the Iraqis want us to start plans on redeployment. They are already promising that within six months, they will choose to demand an end to the occupation when that opportunity comes. At least the Iraqis get the point…will Congress?

 Another sad story of a soldier that suffered in more than one way from this occupation has resurfaced. It tells how this Colonel became disconnected from reality as a result of his realizations of what really led to the incursion of March 19^th, 2003…sad.

 One of the few benefits of the recent cave-in of Congress to BOOsh on funding his occupation - that seemed to escape the BOOsh radar – was that bill officially prohibited any funding appropriated from now on to be utilized to permanently occupy Iraq and its oil!! Will BOOsh abide by the law or ignore it as usual?

 During the GOP debate hosted by CNN in New Hampshire; a woman that lost a family member to the occupational conflict inquired the candidates as to how they plan to unite the government and people of this nation and the Iraqi Province to bring a peaceful end to the horror, but not one of the morons answered her question but chose to use it as a chance to promote their own views on why it was justified and shouldn’t come to a close soon…this was the norm throughout the debate as these guys regularly dodged the original questions in favor of some adventure through their mental inability to stay on track…geesh

 You have to admire the Iraq Veteran Marine that has been seen heckling the incompetence of BOOsh’s minions…he’s a peace activist and no one can touch him. God bless Sergeant Adam Kokesh!!

 Our relations with Russia are taking a nosedive into Hades. After the Regime announced their intentions to set up a missile defense system in Europe (partially to pay out federal funds to weapons contractors), Russia responded with a fury. First they tested new Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles that reportedly could penetrate any missile defense system and are capable of delivering just about any warhead over 3,000 miles!! When BOOsh and company insisted that the system was only meant to protect us and our allies in Europe from a potential nuclear missile attack by Iran (which itself is absurd beyond belief…lol), Putin offered a former Soviet-era base in Azerbaijan to use for the base. Either way…this is scary.

 Yahoo, AOL and GoodMail (a true oxymoron) are planning to impose charges on businesses to send mass mailings out to potential customers with the assurance that the mail received isn’t spam. Is this a step to bring Net Neutrality down? Let’s not wait and see…

 I’ve remarked on the trend in the BOOsh Regime to censor scientific data that concludes a link between people and global warming, but now it appears that officials are censoring themselves for fear of irritating BOOsh and Congress…this is disturbing; when governments fear the governed, its democracy…but when the governed fear their government, that’s tyranny…end this now!!

 May the World annually remember the day Paul Wolfowitz announced his resignation as World Bank President. Keep those crony resignations coming!! Although the Bank is considering a reform of President appointment procedures, to ensure that a regime like BOOsh’s will never again taint the Bank and its mission to the poor, Treasury Secretary Paulson insisted that the President continue to be American ‘cause it has worked out so well for the bank (up till now). I say we let the President come amongst the poorest nations…then maybe real progress in fighting poverty will be realized!

 We have become accustomed to BOOsh’s lies on the economy, but when we allow the media and his other minions to spin certain news as “progress”; we cede too much. Recently disclosed data of a homes sale surge omits the fact that it is primarily due to the severe drop in the value of those homes…don’t let their spin go unchallenged…research the facts and use it as a weapon!!

 Congressman Peter Welch of Vermont (D) met with constituents to hear their views on Impeachment. He then spoke on the house floor, expressing his opposition to impeachment as a remedy for our constitutional crisis, and proceeded to share his ignorant belief that “oversight” is the appropriate answer to taming this beastly regime. The problem with this ill-conceived perception of congressional duty is that when congress rules out “impeachment” as a necessary remedy, “oversight” hearings lose their effectiveness and meaning. This regime feels that they are above the law and that they don’t HAVE TO testify even in the event of a subpoena. How in the blue hell does Congress expect to properly conduct oversight without the looming probability of impeachment proceeds for those that fail to comply and abide by the law?!!

 The movement to remove an American Tyrant advanced further recently as it was joined by the first municipality of Ohio - Oberlin – and the City of Detroit; both having passed resolutions demanding the impeachment of the BOOsh Gang. The most inspiring factor to note on Detroit’s action is that it was hosted/sponsored by Monica Conyers, who so happens to be the wife of the House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers, the very man that could launch impeachment hearings at the drop of a dime. Keep it up!!

 Congress has released its umpteenth report on BOOsh’s abuses of power and these findings again amount to nothing. The 110^th is as inept as they come…but I do have some good news. I recently shared a brief conversation I had in person with Congressman Zach Space (D-OH) on the issue of impeachment after his speech before the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner this past Friday: "Being as respectable as I could...I asked if I could request something of him, he appeared comfortable and attentive as he said "sure". Remarking on his prior career as a lawyer and Dover City Law Director, along with his naturally included knowledge of the law, I pleaded with him to seriously consider impeachment. He then got serious and quickly noted that he is. He mentioned his uncertainty on whether it's right for the country right now "not that (Bush) doesn't deserve (impeachment)." After I reinforced my insistence that he seriously consider this vital matter, he promised that he would continue to do so." Rest assured, this is far from over...

 Also, as shared on democrats.com, my recent speech to Newark City Council on the 21^st:

“'Let me begin tonight with an official retraction of a misleading statement I made on May 7^th. As I came before council during the previous meeting; I stated the following: “…Patrick Henry declared – in a municipal setting – ‘give me liberty or give me death.” It was brought to my attention at the offset of the meeting by a fellow citizen that my comments on Mr. Henry were inaccurate. I would later confirm his comments and discover that the meeting was at the General Assembly of Virginia that met despite the fact that the Colony’s Governor had dissolved that very body beforehand.

 I had referenced the statement; believing it relevant to the cause. I still hold that belief, but I wholeheartedly apologize for the inaccuracy. It is my sincere hope that this won’t tarnish my credibility nor even damage my efforts before this council and the people of this great city.

 My purpose for seeking action has been well established by now, but I must continue to press forward in the interest of relentlessly and actively defending all that we hold near and dear to our hearts. Never, in this quest, have I sought to mislead this council or anyone else in attendance. I do the necessary research, compile the facts in my written speeches and present them in order of importance from the “least” to the “most”.

 Time after time, I’ve been reminded of the likelihood that this matter hasn’t a chance of ever being taken into consideration; especially when one considers the current political landscape. While our municipality sits idly by, opting to ignore this issue altogether; more and more cities, towns and other localities across the country seem to join the fray every month or two. The most incredible fact is that – in one day – over 30 town hall meetings throughout Vermont voted in favor of a demand for Congressional action to hold the Bush Gang accountable.

 To date; 93 communities – including the home of House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers - have taken this matter into consideration and the vast majority of them have passed their resolutions. A recent poll conducted by Insider/Advantage/Majority opinion, which is operated by a former Republican state legislator and employee of Newt Gingrich, found that after bluntly asking if the respondent would want to see Bush and Cheney impeached the answer was 39% in favor and 55% opposed. This is in contrast to polls conducted during the impeachment of Bill Clinton where it was found that only 32% supported his removal from office. When the question of impeachment includes mention of a specific charge; the support grows. Zogby International discovered in the summer of 2005 that about 42% of those polled favored impeachment if it was found that Bush and his administration lied to lead us to war. Regarding Domestic Wiretapping without a warrant, a contravention of federal law that Bush has admitted to committing via the infamous NSA Surveillance Program; Zogby found through a January 2006 poll that 52% of the respondents supported impeachment in these circumstances.

 An unscientific poll conducted online by MSNBC received well over 429,000 responses where 88% of them supported impeachment for the aforementioned crimes and others not highlighted.  Once the probable charges are presented within the impeachment question; there is clearly a consensus amongst the general populace demanding action. The American People want those in government that abuse their power and break the law to be held accountable. Both the evidence I’ve brought before you and that is readily available elsewhere clearly depicts an administration with a total disdain for the law.

 In our eternally polarized political environment; true accountability for the elected seems impossible. Democrats don’t want to impeach and remove other democrats, likewise with the Republicans. Only when the evidence mounts so highly against an official does the party line disappear and real action takes place. However, in these times; considering the ever prevalent policy of secrecy with the lack of coverage in the media of any and all atrocities committed; the public is less likely to get a partial, let alone the whole, story.

 This is not what our framers intended. The impeachment mechanism was never meant to be reserved for political expediency. It was never intended to be a tool of any party to enact revenge upon their opposition. A barrier exists between partisan bickering and official action for the overall good of the populace; which might be why the founders staunchly opposed the involvement of political parties in our system of governance; fearing that the elected would serve the agenda of their respective party over the will of the electorate.  Is this why Thomas Jefferson said that “(e)very government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves, therefore, are its only safe depositories?”

 President Lincoln – in his wisdom - had the foresight to see that the constitution should never be tampered with because of the potential in threatening our liberties and that the loss of those liberties would inevitably result in self-destruction when he said: “Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties.” and “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”

 Impeachment was undeniably installed as a means to keep the system of checks and balances intact. The reason why the House of Representatives reserve the power of Impeachment and Prosecution of all acts that constituted “treason, bribery, high crimes and misdemeanors” was because the distinguished officials in the lower house of our bicameral legislature more closely represent the will of the people.  That doesn’t entail that impeachment was intended to only be initiated at the demands of the people, but in the interest of protecting their liberties. Our founders feared the rise of an overzealous executive. To ensure that the President and his cabinet would never subvert the constitution to pursue an autocratic agenda, the founding fathers inserted impeachment as our best safeguard against tyranny.

 Political convenience is a curse that works like an autoimmune disease. Partisanship obstructs critical thought and thus serves as the enemy within. Our political divisiveness is the biggest obstacle separating this nation from true Representative Democracy. I want all politicians to think logically; Republicans should support impeachment to restore order and credibility with the public. Republican support for a Bush Impeachment could help save both the union and party from the degradation they have suffered in the Bush era. Democrats must impeach Bush to affirm their position as the so-called “party of the people”.

 Any official that claims to be for the people should acknowledge their undeniable obligation to protect them from certain tyranny, now or in the future. This must be done by preventing the precedents that have been set in these past six years from going unchallenged. I want it to be known that I feel the implementation of impeachment and removal is vital to preventing the passage of these overreaching powers to the successor of George Bush. In all honesty, this is not solely about Mr. Bush, but his successors as well.

 Would anyone want Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John McCain, or Rudy Giuliani – to name a few – wielding unfettered authority to spy on Americans without warrant, declare deceptive and illegal wars of aggression, or even circumventing the law and thus the will of the people with so-called “signing statements” that interpret the laws they sign in whatever way they wish? Would you want that future or worse for this country? Better yet, is this the example you want our country to set for the second and third world nations?

 My frustration with the lack of action by this Congress grows with every day that Bush and Cheney continue to maul the very fabric of what binds this Republic; the constitution and the liberties mentioned within. This is even in light of the fact that numerous ex-officials from this administration are revealing the betrayal and even saying the key words that indicate a demand for immediate action; this has been reinforced with the recent comments by ex-Chief of Staff to Secretary Powell, a retired army colonel that served in Vietnam, Lawrence Wilkerson, when he said: “our founding fathers…would all be astounded that over the course of our short history as a country…we haven't used that little two to three lines in Article II of the Constitution more frequently, the impeachment clause…the language in those …lines about impeachment is nice and precise – it's high crimes and misdemeanors. You compare …Clinton's peccadilloes for which he was impeached to (Bush) …or …Cheney's high crimes and misdemeanors, and I think they pale in significance”.

 Bush’s lies and broken pledges continue to this day. Many of you might recall when Bush told troops at Fort Bragg on June 28^th, 2005 that “…as the Iraqis stand up, we will stand down.” Not even two years later; the military – as reported by the McClatchy Newspapers - revealed that it had abandoned this policy on April 19^th, choosing instead to increase tours of duty to 15 months from 12, and amending the mission to conclude that they must eradicate the insurgency and secure the occupied land in order to declare what Bush calls “complete victory”. Can you blame the Iraqi sentiments towards what most of them – according to the Inter Press Service – feel will be an endless occupation?

  Bush’s administration and even some top Republicans in Congress have expressed their intentions to respect the demands of the occupied should they demand or merely ask us to leave. However, two factors have come up clearly indicating that the people of Iraq want us out, sooner than later. Although immediate withdrawal is insane and overwhelmingly opposed by the occupied; 71 percent of Iraqi respondents to a poll conducted by the Program on International Policy Attitudes expressed support for a gradual withdrawal over the next year’s course. Furthermore, the Washington Post unveiled Iraqi Parliament plans to demand the departure of the “Coalition”. Will Bush comply?

 Recent history clearly indicates that he wouldn’t. This isn’t only disheartening; this is dangerous. Bush’s veto and threats of future vetoes on the supplemental that includes language for benchmarks to be met and clear the way for withdrawal is evidence to this. He refuses to compromise with a congress that was elected by the American People in part as a means to end the war displays his unwavering arrogance. His meetings with Democratic leaders in Congress to negotiate a “compromise” have only served as a way for him to patronize his opponents and demand their cooperation in continuing the war funding on his terms alone, thus circumventing the will of the populace. This is why each of these meetings has failed to achieve the set objectives.

 If the past few years may indicate what to expect in the future; Bush may feel inclined to sign one of these bills including either the “benchmarks” or a “withdrawal” provision and append – as he has with other bills he disagreed with – a “signing statement” or otherwise known as an addendum declaring his so-called “right” as our glorious Commander in Chief to ignore said provision and direct the appropriated funds as he sees fit.

 The Hill reports that Speaker Pelosi threatened to sue Bush should he seek to use this tactic on this controversial battle. A lawsuit would be an inexcusable and repugnant dodge of congressional obligation in utilizing impeachment to truly holding Bush accountable for this abuse. Not to mention the prospect of a constitutional battle that could end up before the Supreme Court and open the doors of forever etching the overreaching “signing statement” authority into the procedures of the lawmaking process. This would undeniably seal the fate of our nation pushing it one step closer to an autocratic dictatorship.

 If Council won’t act, then I recommend that either you set up a time and date for citizens to come and take part in the discussion over the issue or that the matter go before the city in some referendum. I would frankly advise the former against the latter because it would likely be less costly, but I’ll be satisfied either way. The point is putting this matter before the very people affected most by it. I have no delusions about the end result, and I understand the high probability of failure, but every matter deserves a public hearing.

 This matter becomes more urgent with each passing day as the march to possible war with Iran continues; the raw story has even reported that – just as the Washington Post shared Bush’s meeting with Pat Robertson in early 2003 at the onset of his war with Iraq – he has apparently met in private with Focus on the Family’s James Dobson to discuss foreign policy where Iran became a top issue of discussion. I feel the need to invoke the words of Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson – the man that coined the phrase “war of aggression” during the Nuremburg Trials – when he said: “no grievances or policies will justify resort to aggressive war. It is utterly condemned as an instrument of policy.”

 In closing, Congress has two options; they can honor their oath of office to protect and preserve the constitution by upholding it via the initiation of impeachment proceeds against the Bush Gang, or they should opt to amend the constitution formally repealing the very mechanism that seems so difficult to consider when it is absolutely necessary. To my government I say: “Impeach now or forever relinquish your authority to do so.'

 During my speech, after the part wherein I criticized Speaker Pelosi(whose office I contacted today to demand reconsideration of her ill-gotten position on impeachment)'s plan to sue BOOsh, the Democratic Council President Marc Guthrie briefly interrupted me to inquire as to whether or not I was close to finishing. I then assured him that I was and finished speaking.

 Since my presentation was the last of three citizen comments, the elected then had their opportunity to speak in the "miscellaneous" segment of the meeting. There was very little said regarding my actual presentation, but the Repugs felt the need to make a mockery of the minor humiliation I experienced when interrupted.

 Councilman Rick Henderson (R) opted to cite my "long" (in all honesty, the speech didn't even last ten minutes; I've been subjected to less interesting comments that lasted twice as long) commentary as a reason to "pass".

 Councilman Don Ellington (R) mockingly taunted me claiming that he had prepared a "17 page study on the Democratic Presidential Candidates" just for me. It was quickly obvious that no such presentation had been prepared - hell, I took him seriously and frankly had looked forward to some sort of rebuttal - instead, it was a cheap attempt to earn a few laughs.

 After Councilman and Majority Leader David Rhodes (R) gestured at how long my speech was, Council President Guthrie (D) reminded the membership that the rules presently maintained no time limit on "Citizen Comments", but that should they choose to amend those rules to include such a limit, he'd enforce it.” To say that things are getting a little rough would be an understatement.

 In the midst of the ongoing investigation regarding the questionable terminations of federal prosecutors; new details emerged regarding the notoriously illegal wiretapping of Americans. Although I already knew about the incident in question, where BOOsh sent some of his minions to the ailing and semi-comatose, bed-ridden Fmr. Attorney General John Ashcroft to garner his approval of the program, illegally by rules of the Executive Branch (despite Ashcroft’s disagreement with the methodologyof said program), an allegation that the Dictator won’t deny, and that – according to a Constitutional Lawyer, Jonathan Turley – stands as the most “potential charge of Impeachment”. Like I’ve said before, what more will it take before this gang is removed from the reigns of power?

 We must come together and demand answers as to why Congress is dragging its feet on the ethics reform. There were some measures passed earlier this year, but no agreement between the two houses on what is unacceptable and what is. The House itself seems to dislike requirements by the Senate to restrict parties thrown by lobbyists in a national nomination convention, mass donations that are collected and placed in a bundle before the actual donation occurs, and on lawmakers that want to become lobbyists in the future…what’s the hold up?

 Congressman Feeney recently received a promotion to the Repug Conference despite an ongoing investigation regarding some of his practices…looks like corruption and criminality equals progress in the “Party of Lincoln”.

 Rush Limbaugh is an idiot. He recently whined about a question posed to Repug Candidates for Prez: “…there's a template developing for the Republican debate last night.'How come there are no women and minorities on stage?' I guess you forgot about 2004…and I guess — you know, the Democrats never get those kinds of questions because it's always assumed that they're fair and just, and not discriminatory and all that.” Hmm, well, let’s see here. Democrats didn’t get that question this year because of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Bill Richardson, and you can’t possibly be referring to 2004 because Carol Mosely-Braun and Al Sharpton (both minorities) ran for president. It’s not the fault of Democrats that the media didn’t give two s**ts about their campaigns. A little advice for the future; do some research before you come out lambasting the democrats for Repug bigotry.

 Bill O’Reilly claims to support the “Path to Citizenship” for millions of illegal immigrants, but then turns around and whines about the prospect of a “drastic altercation” in our nation’s demographics. Aw, we’d become minorities ourselves for the first time since our ancestors stole this land from the natives? Too bad…I don’t support amnesty, but I’ll have to admit that I’ve recently opened up to this Immigration Reform. My only qualm is the “temporary worker’s permit”. They need to install a requirement for these “guests” to compete for the same wages/salaries as Americans, so not to create a windfall that would rob millions of their potential jobs. Creating an easier path to citizenship is ok, so long as these people are treated equally alongside all current residential Americans (including taxes, job competition, and compliance with the law).

 Michael Savage, just like Limbaugh, is a ‘tard; he recently compared us supporters of the fairness doctrine to Nazis and the Bolsheviks. By claiming that we want “free speech banned”; this dumb ass, like the rest of his neo-conservatives in the media, is spreading a vitriolic lie about this incredible proposal. The fairness doctrine is neither an infringement on free speech nor a free press. It merely enhances the former and regulates the latter to ensure that EVERY side to an issue has EQUAL access to the public. That’s it. Pundits and hosts to political shows would merely be required to offer equal time to a representative of each side of a political perspective on each issue. How is that obstructing free speech? These cowards are simply petrified at the prospect of having to defend their rhetoric against someone as equally – if not more so – informed on the issue on the opposing side. Furthermore, free press doesn’t entail a privilege of the press to cover or discuss whatever they want to grab more viewers, listeners or readers; it actually grants the press FREE ACCESS to the truth!! How did we become so blind?

 During the Regime’s never ending campaign to oppress the minorities in this country; BOOsh minion and appointee in the Federal Elections Commission used an alias while writing an opinion piece to deride the fact that certain identification requirements imposed by right-wing officials have disenfranchised the black vote. Now this guy is under investigation, but I feel that this isn’t even a modicum of what’s transpired these past several years under BOOsh rule…

 BOOsh’s groupies are proudly touting the ONLY measure that finds allies amongst the majority of the majority, comprehensive immigration reform, as a victory and a sign of things to come…might as well be a “sign” especially when one considers BOOsh’s victory over the occupation funding, but I really don’t believe it is a sincere sign that BOOsh has won his opposition over. Dream on…come on, you people are even spinning the recent event where BOOsh came under attack by bird poo to come to this conclusion…

 Should I laugh my posterior off at the footage and/or notification of former BOOsh chief of staff Andrew Card’s attempted accepting of a meaningless “honorary degree” before a very discontent crowd of students and faculty at the University of Massachusetts? LMAO!!! I guess I answered my own question….

 The British Government is apparently attempting to censor the media from publishing stories relating to BOOsh’s threat to bomb al-Jazeera. Why now?

 Just as BOOsh consulted Pat Robertson at the onset of his imminent invasion of Iraq, he has now sought the consultation of James Dobson in a meeting that reportedly spent an incredible amount of time focused on Iran…is this the calm before the storm?

 I’ve recently done some research on Congressman Ron Paul’s positions on each issue, and concluded that I wouldn’t vote for him unless he was facing off against Bill Richardson. It’s best to compare candidates, issue by issue and vote for the one that MOST aligns with your own views. However, I must grant kudos to Paul for his stunning and applause worthy comments that rocked the Repug candidates for President. He told the unfiltered truth regarding the real motives for why people join any terrorist movements. He disputed the repug myth that terrorists “hate us because we’re free”, and told the audience that we are targets because of our presence, militarily and corporately, in the region. The truth proved revolutionary, especially being told by a Republican on FAUX News…great job, Paul!!

 During the Faux Debate between Repugs, the candidates were inquired on the current Regime’s usage of torture or “Enhanced Interrogation Techniques”. McCain stood his ground – as he should, being a former POW in Vietnam that endured torture himself – and then Giuliani, Tom Tancredo and Mitt Romney both espoused admiration for the policy, but Romney had to put some stank on it by adding “while you’re at it, Double Guantanamo.” The audience erupted with applause after each torture love fest comment, but they were ecstatic with Romney’s suggestion. How sickening could these people be?

 Should we be concerned that a closely-tied BOOsh ally and former Recess Ambassador to the UN, Bolton has come out demanding that we attack Iran “before they get the bomb”? You decide…hell, the Regime may be ahead of him already with the recent disclosure of a covert plot to disrupt activities within the Iranian government as a means to dissuade their alleged involvement in Iraq and plans to build WMDs…

 Did you know that BOOsh is paying Pervez Musharraf (President of Pakistan) one billion dollars a year to pursue bin-Laden without accounting for how every dime of that money is spent? That’s our tax dollars going to Pakistan, a nation that – as I have shared on this site in the past – harbors the Taliban by refusing to capture them as long as they don’t cause any problems in the area…this is confusing and criminal altogether….

 …and the march to an Autocratic Government continues…BOOsh recently signed off on a directive declaring his duty/obligation to wield full authority over the entire federal government to enforce “constitutional governance” and “ensure” that the other two branches are doing their jobs – in accordance with his will, of course – in the event of a catastrophic event. This may seem alarmist, or even like some kooky theory, but it’s available for reading at the White House website…the death of Democracy here in America may be closer than you think…

 I find it to be so amusing every time Giuliani is contradicted on 9/11…especially by former officials in his NYC Administration. Rudy, you have no credibility, no experience as a trustworthy and dependable leader; drop out already!!

 More evidence of incompetence or carelessness at the BOOsh Regime is that they hired a group of people that can’t speak Arabic to run a radio station for those who do….the end result? Those that have been hired have reportedly been spreading anti-American and anti-Israeli message across the airwaves with over 60 million dollars of your tax dollars…beautiful!!

 While addressing a class of graduating cadets at West Point; Lord Cheney said the following of detainees and human rights: “Capture one of these killers, and he'll be quick to demand the protections of the Geneva Convention and the Constitution of the United States. Yet when they wage attacks or take captives, their delicate sensibilities seem to fall away.” The dark lord implies that simply because terrorists seem to lack any compassion as they carry out attacks on the innocent; anyone SUSPECTED of practicing or conspiring to practice acts of terror should be treated in the same manner.

 McCain was recently confronted on his armed escort through Baghdad after he tried to spin the visit to his advantage. He proceeded to blame General Petraeus for “insisting” that he have that much protection even though he had suggested prior to the visit that an American could walk safely down the streets of the city without a humvee. Look at him, already taking after BOOsh, blaming the generals (two of whom, being former commanders in the occupation, have come out chastising BOOsh for not listening to his commanding underlings) for his follies! Wait, isn’t that why BOOsh has appointed a “czar”/scapegoat for his failed occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan?

 The Congressional Approval rating is lower than the Dictator, why? It’s because the congress we elected is failing to do the job they were ELECTED to for (need I mention the recent betrayal of the middle class and working poor via a secret trade deal that could worsen our outsourcing crisis). The 110^th may work more than the 109^th, they may be more progressive and open-minded than their predecessors, and Democrats may be trusted more than the Repugs across the board, but the cold-hard fact is that these guys aren’t getting a damn thing done!! They are failing us at ending this occupation, and they’re failing at truly upholding their oaths of office (regarding the mandated responsibility to initiate impeachment). It truly saddens me that my own Congressman sits amongst these failures and that new Senator of mine, Sherrod Brown (for whom I did not vote) isn’t much better as he managed to miss an important vote in the Senate to help end the war…tragic.

 The BOOsh Regime reportedly believes that pay increases for our soldiers, beyond the pathetic 3 percent increase granted this year, are “unnecessary”. WTF? You are forcing these men and women to remain on the frontlines in a botched occupation that has been ripped to pieces by a civil war, extended their mandated tours by three months, and it isn’t necessary to grant them more pay? F**k you!!

 An OSU alumnus whom served in Iraq at Abu Ghraib said that the pictures that were shared with the public barely told the horrifying stories of the infamous prison. This brave soldier told the story of how the “(p)risoners suffered from malnutrition and inadequate health care and many were held in open-air cells making them susceptible to mortar attacks.” The truth just keeps coming out…it shall make us free!!

 A teacher was recently fired because of a comment made in class when she answered a student’s question regarding the “honk for peace” signs in their town. She replied that she always honks for signs like this or other promotions of peace. This led to the student sharing the story with their parent, whom then went to the principal, then leading to the school prohibiting the teacher from discussing politics in class at all. This is absolutely absurd, when I was in my freshmen year at Newark High School, my history teacher – a repug – made an effort to express his unwavering support for BOOsh’s campaign (n 2000) and urged us to get involved politically…why was his commentary acceptable and not this teacher’s? Typical censorship of intellectual dissention!!

 I stumbled across a poll conducted by the Program on International Policy Attitudes which found that the Iraqis (by a majority of 71%) want the occupation to end within the next year. Sound like a mandate for a change of course to you?

 While our military does a bang up job of obliterating structures left and right in the Province of Iraq; the Iraqis will get some payback, when their occupiers erect the latest symbol of imperial dominance with the largest embassy ever constructed. Projected to be 2/3 the size of D.C.’s “mall” (for the uneducated, that’s the area consisting of landmark buildings and monuments)…what a way to show our dedication to ensuring freedom for the occupied; construct a token of our superiority…

 A little known escalation plot has gone almost completely unnoticed by the public, a plan that would increase the number of soldiers on the ground to well over 200,000…and this seems to conflict MSM reports of a slight drawback of troops…such confusion…it seems purposely orchestrated to distract us from the truth…

 The British Government, as led by the new Prime Minister; Gordon Brown, plans to withdrawal its troops from the Iraqi Province as soon as is practicable…so, while BOOsh gains an ally in the new French President, he loses a lapdog in Great Britain’s new Prime Minister…congrats to Britain on their awakening!!

 John McCain likes to lash out at his Democratic Counterparts running for President on their votes regarding this occupation, but he has missed at least 50 percent of all roll call votes since the beginning of this Congressional Session. How’s that for dedication? This guy is really serving his constituents in Arizona well, huh? I believe wholeheartedly that McCain has fallen off the deep end and has even submersed into the great abyss by now…just as I suggested to Rudy, John…drop out now!!

 Reports are coming out regarding the Regime’s intentions on maintaining a military and industrial presence in Iraq for a “few decades”…guess what it involves….I’ll give you one three-lettered word guess…oh crap, I just gave it away, didn’t I?

 An increasing mental nuisance to me has built up over these past few months when I try to ponder the reasoning behind Repugs in the House electing John Boehner as their leader and even attempting to make him the House Speaker. He resorts to the old Repug tactics of using 9/11 emotions to justify the invasion of Iraq and the continuance of the occupation there…have they no sense at all?

 Why do Faux News viewers tend to be less informed on Iraq than those that choose to steer clear of BOOsh’s propaganda machine? Let’s look at some figures on that channels objective reporting on the issues: “In daytime, FNC devoted 6 percent of its time to Iraq, and 17 percent of its time to Anna Nicole…(and) stood out for its lack of coverage on the firings of the U.S. attorneys, compared with the other channels. The story, which gained real momentum in mid March, consumed a mere 2% of Fox’s total airtime.” Hmmm, maybe that’s why talking to my neoconservative father is like trying to lecture the proverbial brick wall.

 One of them embedded journalists that reports from Iraq returned to the states for a short vacation before arriving back in the war torn province and told her associates, via television interview, that the area worsened in the short time she was gone…just imagine what it must be like for the people that have been under BOOsh’s militaristic foot these past four years…saddening…

 It should be seen as noteworthy to highlight the fact that the BOOsh Regime was warned about possible “sectarian” violence and the possibility of Iranian interference in the province following an invasion with a less-than-desired force…I guess its just more evidence of the recklessness in this “administration”…

 Since it is Memorial Day, it is quite relevant to note that the casualties in this occupation between Memorial Day 2006 and now is over 170 more than the period between the ‘05 and ‘06 Memorial Days…Let’s pray this trend doesn’t continue to worsen…

 The Japan Prime Minister has been pressing the government of his country to amend their constitution to end their pacifist stance on military policy. Most of the populace in Japan opposes the movement, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I shudder to think about the potential ramifications for the region or even the world if Japan should cease being pacifist.

 I’ve read many blog posts in the past few years since I increased my political activity in 2003, but none have struck me as being so vital to read and seriously contemplate than one I read regarding the Supreme Court and Next Year’s Election. It has been forecast that we should expect the three so-called “liberal” Justices on the Court to retire over the next half-decade. The 44^th President will wield the authority to nominate at least two justices, and if those justices mirror Roberts and Alito even slightly; I fear that the worst is yet to come for our great land. Consider that when you cast your vote in 2008…

Tonight's Conclusion

 A little food for thought, when you are casting your vote in the few next elections; don't ever let anyone intimidate you as a means to pressure you into voting for someone that doesn't represent your values. Likewise, when you are petitioning the government to take action on any issue, never let your guard down, don't permit the government to intimidate you in order to coerce your silent, obedience.

 This is OUR COUNTRY...it's time we take it back.
